90SK Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 It is now, officially, 2006. Yes, I'm quite sure the year has changed all over the globe by this point in time. Which brings up the poignant question: what's your new years resolution? Mine involves school, grades, and other uninteresting things.
DarthAve Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Mine is to be more open and honest. Skye, when I first came here I hated you so much.
90SK Posted January 5, 2006 Author Posted January 5, 2006 That's alright. When I came here, shortly before you came here, I was still getting rid of my hate-inspiring phase that I had adopted and honed from my previous forum venture (ever heard of pcgamemods.com? What a free for all. Like this, except one giant flamewar).
DarthAve Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Oh wow. Well, I'm glad you've changed your evil ways.
Udvarnoky Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Mine is to beg Thrik to give this place an off-topic forum.
90SK Posted January 5, 2006 Author Posted January 5, 2006 Mine is to beg Thrik to give this place an off-topic forum. Agreed. I wouldn’t mind a few extra moderators too. That, and I should mention that Vanilla Cherry Coke is coming out this year, in concordance with the phasing out of Vanilla Coke and Cherry Coke. I must try some...
DarthAve Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Ohh la la! That sounds so delicious, Skye! I once had some of these little pouches with flavoring in them and had cherry vanilla dr. pepper before it came out to the public. Those pepsi jerks ripped me off.
90SK Posted January 5, 2006 Author Posted January 5, 2006 Not surprised. They have spies everywhere. You know, reflecting back on previous years, I can't say I've made a new year's resolution in quite a while. Mainly because they never come to pass; what's the point in doing something so futile. But this is a special year, and requires treatment as such.
DarthAve Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 This year IS special. This is the year somthing good will happen, and Mr. Cow shall be mine. MWAHAHA!!!
Mashi An'krekku Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Sadly, my new year's resolution is to finish Psychonauts. Shouldn't be too hard, I just haven't the will to pick it up again. I HATEHATEHATE little Oly.
KingCheez Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Your new years resolutions should be to watch my music videos.
Zetz Darke Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 My New years resolution is the same as last year. It's to look at things this year in a better way and to stop being so pessimistic all the time.
63_Nightmare Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I'm planning on doing better in math. It's so hard..
Paranoidish Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Mine is to bring my grades up. I've got a freakin C!!!!! Yes...I'm a nerd, why do you ask?
DarthAve Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 NERDS DON'T GET C's! JOCK'S GET C's! You are out of the nerd club! ~denied~
Odd Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Mine is to get grades up (art especially, sad when I'm failing it and it's the career I wanted) and to finished 230762057235 drawings I've promised to various people. And maybe get a life, but thats optional.
DarthAve Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I once read this story where this kid would get nothing but F's on stories he wrote, but he grew up to be a famous writer. This was in some crappy 'Chicken Soup for the Soul' Book my teacher reads to us every Thursday.
90SK Posted January 9, 2006 Author Posted January 9, 2006 So, I assume that, as a new year's resolution, you're all interested in your grades going up? Judging by the banter, that is. I'm praying for a miracle in algebra. I've been reviewing all weekend. If I continue with my 69.5 average (68 is failing), I won't pass. Not good.
KingCheez Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 My resolution, now, is to bring up my grades, lose weight, and find a girlfriend who won't dump me before the first kiss.
