Star Trek is about exploring (And so is Stargate), while SW is about honor, and problems we recognize. It's just a society like ours, accept we don't have lightsabers (MAKE THEM!!). I think everyone recognises himself in characters like Luke Skywalker (or Darth Vader for the evil ones). They are much more 'human' then other characters. That's what facinates me.

I completely agree. Also ST is far too idealistic for me. At that part SW is much more realistic. Oh, and they did make something they wanted to call a lightsaber, it is a laser scalpel or something like that, except George Lucas didn't approve of the name. And since I have to pick a different study (and it is medic, but I still have to get in due to limited places) it would cause some problems. I could list them, but in that case I would still be typing next year.
