The Distorted
If only you would actually turn into a rakghoul when you got infected (and if your HP hit zero from their poisoning), then you could give them a taste of their own medicine...except...that...they're already, rakgouls...anyway... er...yeah - if you can't beat 'em, join 'em! *Note to self: there are too many phailed cliches in this post*
Melly
It's only the Rakghoul Fiends that poison you so take them out first.
Cygnus Q'ol
I'll let my NPC's go in and draw first blood. Once the Rakgouls are weak, I go in and mop up. I also stock up on a few antidote kits, just in case. When there's a group of them, I'll flip a grenade in there to shrink their numbers before we mix it up. I've also blasted them at range, I don't want their slime all over my blades.
JediMaster12
I've laid mines and it works like a charm.
PazaakPrincess
I also seem to have this problem with the kath hounds on Dantooine, no matter the tactic they go for me first but being at a higher level and then getting Light Saber makes it lesss of a pain. Aurora Merlow
Try the hit and run tactic, not very courageous but you stay alive. I didn't mind the Rakgouls i thought they were a pretty cool enemy to fear from the sewers and the back story that its from a desease that causes mutation and you try to find a cure, brilliant
TSR
meh.they pose no problem if you buy the echani firebrand (i think its called that)sword from the shopin taris. one swipe dead. if you're a soldier anyway.
PazaakPrincess
Yeah I always get that to use in the duelling ring. What I started to do with the Kinrath, for instance, is just start running and let Carth take all the heat I must say though one thing I love is having my lightsabers blazing and with Juhani along it makes it pretty cool to watch even when turning green upon occaission. At least the Mandalorians always go for Jolee and without any armor he is usually the first to die.
TSR
thats why you upgrade his force heal/cure. then, change his scripts to always using force powers, and cos he's a consular(?) he's got loads of force points, so you are practically being healed all the time during battle. LS rules!
