Half-Life 2: Episode One

Yay, half-life is actually developing a story. :p

Battle side-by-side with her through Valve's first episodic game, a four-to-six hour adventure of greater density and detail than non-episodic releases.

That sounds short but at the same time very promising. And they're obviously planning for more of these episodes. Should be interesting.

I can't wait. The ending of Half Life 2 left me soooooo confused, and I am just dying to know wtf is up with that creepy GMan.

June 1st huh? That's good. Leaves me a month or so to finish upgradin :p

You can kill G-Man in HL2 though (he comes back, but it's satisfying to put a few rounds in his head anyways):

On the way to Black Mesa East, just after you destroy the Hunter and just before you cross the bridge to the dam, you can stop just before the bridge, target G-Man (he's standing at the corner of the dam) and put a few rounds through him with the hovercraft's machine gun.

Walker also let slip a few hints about the plots of both expansion packs. "Episode One will not end with an all-encompassing conclusion", he said, comparing it to Half-Life 2's less-than-cut-and-dry denouement. He also preemptively addressed any fears that the series will stray from its roots, saying Valve has "to be considerate to our audience in terms of giving them what they want."

Hey, the first time I went through Ravenholm, I was pretty creeped out and high strung.

Now when I go through ravenholm, it's just, crowbar crowbar crowbar crowbar shotgun shotgun done.

God I love smacking things around with a crowbar :D

Oddly enough, the devs said they designed that level for the player to mess around with the gravity gun. One of the sawblades found around town can take out a ton of "zombies" at once and the oxygen canisters are made to be thrown at high speed.

Look for the spare car engine laying around. Drops Zeds by the truckload.

Two direct hits take out the super zombies that fling the headcrabs at you. Though, the sawblades are just too much fun to pass by.
