The Doctor nodded. "Unfortunately, the arrival of a tall blue box accompanied by a loud screeching sound would attract unwanted attention," he pointed out. "The TARDIS is far from inconspicuous."

"We could take both." Karda said, walking up to them. "I do not understand the principles involved, but it would be easier to take the marines and crew on the Dreadless, along with all the equipment it has. If need be, I suppose some could use the TARDIS for rapid transit on Myrkr; it would be an unknown element to those on the planet."

"Not a bad idea" agreed the Doctor. "But the TARDIS should be kept secret for the time being - even from the rest of the Dreadless crew. We should maintain the element of surprise for as long as we can."

"Didn't you once say that the TARDIS could 'shrink' to any size, yet still have any larger size inside the box? If so, you could simply park the thing somewhere obscure in the ship. Then we can just head to Myrkr." Karda sat in one of the seats as he spoke.

Crystal approached the group just in time to hear the Doctor's explanation of the TARDIS's shape and her face showed her puzzlement. "A what booth?"

"Phone booth," repeated the Doctor. "Communications device used on Earth from the late 19th century to the end of the 21st. It died out along with the television, not that there's any loss there."

((Btw, it's nice to have you back, WJ! I hope you move went alright!))

"Haven't seen you in a while," Karda said, meaning Crystal.

He turned to the Doctor and Tylor. "Since there seems to be no other pressing matters, I think it would be best if we set course for Myrkr."

((The move went well, thanks. Pretty much done now. And our 'net connection's up! Yay! :) ))

"I've been... preoccupied," Crystal informed Karda, an odd smile on her face. "I'll try to be more available in the future. Are we going now?"

Kira leaned back in her chair, her feet crossed and resting up on the dash, a finger idly twirling a strand of hair that had fallen from her ponytail. The blue light of Hyperspace flashed by, illuminating the cockpit in sporadic flashes.

Coffee, Revan? she shook her head, smiling to herself. What a lame excuse.

((OOC: Yay, useless post! :D))

Revan stood in the main hold, pouring himself a cup of coffee. Anything to get away from you, he teased.

((Why should I spoil the fun? Let's have another useless one! :D))

So I'm a compromise? he asked, pulling up a map of Nar Shaddaa. I guess I'll just have to make a compromise of my own. I wonder how much Vogga would pay to have you dance for him again...

Revan felt her embarrassment from halfway across the ship. Careful, he said. Disciple may be a gentlemen, but he's also a medic. He's going to think you've got the Norledian Plague if he ses you go so red so fast.

He didn't need to tell me. He was broadcasting the image like crazy a few days ago. Uncharacteristic of him, but convenient nonetheless. He's fairly fond of that memory, actually.

By the Force... The Exile's face dropped into her hand, laughing to herself as her face continued to redden, He always told me I looked good in that...I think he even kept the stupid thing, even though I told him to shove it in the trash compactor as soon as we got on the Hawk.

Force only knows where he's hidden it... She looked up again, her hand curling into a fist, her cheek resting on her knuckles. But I'm glad that years out in the Unknown Reigions haven't made you a perv like...a certain other man I know...
