lukeiamyourdad
http://www.blizzard.com/press/060509.shtml I don't know what to think of it. It has good potential, then it also has bad potential. Some people might consider it a LotR off-spring and we know that no video-game movie adaptation has worked very well.
The Doctor
You can't make a good movie out of a crappy game. It just doesn't work.
MachineCult
I sense another epic-medieval-battle-hopping on the LOTR bandwagon-movie. I personally would have prefered a Starcraft movie, despite how much like Starship Troopers it would be.

Strange that WarCraft is among the most popular franchises in the world huh? Could it have some good in it ? If you have nothing to post, don't. I would've liked a StarCraft movie too, but I guess a WarCraft movie can turn out fine. Eh, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Jeff
I think this has some potential, I just hope they don't **** it up, because I like warcraft and would go see it.
Commander Obi-Wan
Cool, though I don't think it would have the potential of a LOTR movie, but maybe a movie like.....
RedHawke
A Warcraft movie would be cool with me... Just for the Night-Elf hotties! It had to be said sometime!

RedHawke
Well... yeah! And don't forget the Blood Elves they have hotties too! "Ring!... Hello!... Argh! I'm a Dread Lord not a Drug Lord!" - Dread Lord "Puff, puff, give... that's the rule!" - Tauren Chieftain "Can you put a few points into my drinking skills?" - Dwarf Hero
igyman
Although most movies based on games haven't turned out to be too good (except maybe Resident Evil, though Doom wasn't that bad too), that doesn't mean I wouldn't be interested to see a movie based upon Warcraft, one of my favourite games. Hallucination
Well, it sounds good, but since it's a video game movie I'd have to wait for one of my more-geeky-than-me friends and hear what they say about it.
Lantzen
hmm, a WarCraft movie. That could be good, but i think StarCraft is way more better than WarCraft (Still playing StarCraft). WarCraft become popular because of WoW, and i understand that they didnt to a "World of StarCraft" Would be a little unbalanced races. A Zergling trying to attack a Zealot. But now i have went a little off topic
igyman
Nope, Warcraft was popular since Warcraft ll Tides of Darkness, it then became even more popular with Warcraft lll. I'd say that World of Warcraft is so popular only thanks to its predecessors (but it's definitely not a bad game).
Lantzen
I agree with you that WarCraft was popular before WoW. But after World of Warcraft it become one of the most popular games in the world, with over 6 millions active accounts.
igyman
That it did. As for the movie, if they make a good story and tell it properly, there's no way the movie will suck, if not, well, then it might be the end of Warcraft.
Lantzen
Hope they do the movie like the videos from the game (Arthas betrayal, the intro)
igyman
Yeah, but make it with the visual quality of the WoW intro.
