Killwithhonor
Yea, well, i know its not as good as Ryan Wieber's movies (obviously) but i tried and will soon be adding the glowing of the actual lightsabers, but for now, the scratch version without alot of sounds because i have not found alot of sounds so i reused em, http://media.putfile.com/The-Duel-78 comments plz
Astrotoy7
Ryan Wieber...c'mon there are better fanfilm directors .... make sure you checkout places like TFNs fanfilm forums for help for some more technical help as for your movie, I think you couldve at least put some thought into costumes, not just wearing anoraks and jeans/cargo pants...!! lolz. It just makes you look like a pair of dudes playing with your toy sabers keep at it ! mtfbwya
MachineCult
lol, yeah like Astrotoy7 said, would have been better with costumes, and not outside your house on a messy lawn. And with your hoods up you look like a pair of futuristic swordfighting chavs.
Killwithhonor
^ Yea lol, it was just a scratch version to see what we were doing and it made a movie so i just edited it and put it on, im making one this friday with costumes and stuff, and im working on the process of lighting the light sabers with adobe after effects To Astrotoy7 ^ Yea ive been checking those forums out and looking at some sites, so im planning on doing some sick choreography for the next one! popcorn2008
Good start, Killwithhonor! To help you out here is a great video on how to add saber effects in adobe after effects. It uses an older version but many of the steps are the same. Have fun! Did you use sound effects from Jedi Knight? They sounded familar =). Also I saw a hand throw a saber when someone used force pull . But anyways here's the link: http://theforce.net/fanfilms/postproduction/sabres/sabertutorials.asp Good Luck! Commander Obi-Wan
Very nice! Though, in the credits you missed a bit. But, then again, it's not not a full-length film.

Also I saw a hand throw a saber when someone used force pull . But anyways here's the link: http://theforce.net/fanfilms/postproduction/sabres/sabertutorials.asp Good Luck! yea i have already found one that goes alot more in depth since that one doesnt teach me much about the keyframes but the effect on color that ryan w's technique makes is a big differencethan from the one i have already, thnx! To Commander Obi-Wan ^, yea the credits are a little, eh, but it was a quick movie that only took about 15 minutes to edit. Also, i have made a better one with better quality and sound fx, im still working on the lightsabers so until then, more quality...... ---> http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=9100534102102616058

TSR
makes us SW fans look bad. Except for Star Wars Kid who was just a goofy little kid and not being serious. agreed. i still can't believe that people would make something like that, then happily post it on the internet. you seen what it sais above the video?. "cool guy".erm, no. not really.
Darth_Terros
Sorry to say im not too impressed by your movie you need to get some serious choreographing done at the moment looks like two kids swinging toy sabers at each oth.... oh it was anyway yeah i dunno there didnt seem to be anything really exciting about the movie and some of the dueling just looked clumsy like you guys were about to fall on your arses with every step and swing of the saber good effort though and with some work and a lot of pratice i think it'd could be pretty good. the music was awesome though! who did you get to do that? Nedak
The movie was cool.. It actualy made me laugh with the moves you guys were doing..
Killwithhonor
I did the editing myself and got music and saber sounds from a zip file, and yea i know the moves sucked, lol, choreographed sucked because it was supposed to basically be a joke... lol

boinga1
That was pretty good. Your friend in the black seemed a little awkward... embarassed, maybe? I assume you guys will use some longer lightsabers in your real movie, of course. Good luck w/ your finished product.
Killwithhonor
kill what program did you use to edit it? I use sony vegas 6, ^ boinga1 i dont need bigger ones since im using adobe after effects to make the actual lightsabers glow, so there is no need, just a waste of space if i do that
