"RED" The new $multi-trillion powerhouse???

Recommended Posts

Thanks Darth.:) I already knew those though, I was more interested in any lesser known/used company descriptors available for use.

Thanks for the advice Jae, but I'm a little to busy (read lazy:xp: ) to get all the official red tape cleared up right now, mainly I'm just taking a preliminary step by formulating the best company name in history:D

So does this mean Redbilt didn't get added to your "names to be considered" list?

I thought it was pretty good but knowing how your mind works, RJM... Uhhh... Well... I really don't know how your warped and twisted mind works so who knows what trips your mojo trigger? :p

It's not a pick & chose what you like thing. What you can use is defined by the law of where you live and depends on the form of your business. The descriptors are there precisely to indicate the form of your business and the possible liability limitations so third parties know what kind of business they are dealing with. You cannot use LLC if you're not an LLC.

Per example, here in Quebec, you only have the choice of 3 abbreviations when you register a company under the provincial law: «inc.», «s.a.» or «ltée» ("corp." is not an option here). If it's a partnership or an individual business, there are different abbreviations that vary depending on their structure. The authorized expressions for each type of business are specifically listed in the law which also specifies all the characters you can/cannot use in the name. Using an expression that does not reflect the correct form/structure of your business is prohibited.

You'll find some general info here:

ugh! I've just read the whole thread. I didn't know there were so many twisted minds here :xp:

Darth333 makes a good point, RJM. Unfortunately you're not living in your own mojoriffic world (as hard as that may be for you to accept). Maybe you can go out and find a little used business type but there is a reason why that business type isn't used. Perhaps you'll fulfil your desire to set your company apart from its competitors but this may also put your company at more risk than would be adviseable.

Anyway, what suggestions for a company name have made it to your list for consideration, if any?

Uhhh.... You forgot to add demented, perverse, and sick in addition to twisted. :dev11: IMO a very important distinction. ;)

@Cutmeister, It was a great suggestion, I'm just fairly sure there are some tools with a similar name (just went blank on what they were):)

@D3, Thanks for the link, incredibly helpful info:D

I understand that the company description has to be different depending on the "state" of the company, but what I was looking for where descriptions which few people use because they are just uncommon or "old school", but still legaly useable.

Yeah, RJM has a way of bringing out the best in us.

Just as I hope to continue doing with my future slaves employees.
