Sigundr
Raek followed Strider out the loading ramp, both duel lightsabers in hand. He was wearing now a black smuggler's vest, and his old black Jedi pants, and pair of Corellian(lolz) sun glasses. He nudged Strider in the side, and motioned to a quintet of troopers sneaking near their position. "Well, appears the welcoming committee has arrived." Raek said, rolling his eyes. Flamehart
Strider turned and looked at the incoming troops. "Go ahead Raek. Test out your training," he said encouragingly. He knew they would be no problem for him, but he wanted Raek to get a feel for how much he had learned in just a short bit of time.

Flamehart
He smirked, his grip firming on his lightsaber hilt. "Then it is time we remind them." With that, he strode on, Katherine followed quickly, sticking with him. Strider assumed Riebe followed as well, he turned to the rest and said, "Katherine will accompany Riebe and myself. You guys, I want you to see if you can secure a place for us to fall back on should things go awry. Try to make it accessible to the landing pad as well, so if things go even worse, we have an easy escape."

Black Knight of Keno
Before the Sith Hunters could split up any more than that, a pair of the more trained Dark Jedi under Darth Tepe's rule stepped up to the landing pad. However, by then Kin and Raek had already vanished from the pad. "Our Lord has waited for you. You seek the jedi Danni. She waits you in the manor. Our troops have given the order to give a straight passage there for you. Once you get to the town square, turn left and follow the lines of commrcial buildings. At the end of that road, you will find a large, white building. That is the manor. Our Lord also waits for you there" the dark jedi said before bowing and leaving the landing pad and going back to their missions of clearing the city of civilians. If the Sith Hunters would've come any later, they would've seen the civilian population being marched out of the city and kept guard with a whole division. It would be a fight between the Light and the Dark, not one with civilians confused in it all. A group of Sith Dominion Cloud Cars(Modified, of course) flew over the city on patrol of any civilian contacts and if they found any, in a few minutes a modified Imperial Flying Fortress was moving for the location. It was amazing how well such a chaos was organized. You could see Darth Tepe had chosen wisely on his commanders and wasn't probably such a bad strategist himself either. Right as the Sith Hunters got to the square infront of the landing pad with an empty info desk and a few stores there and a map to show where everything was, a large rumbling noise came towards them. First a pair of kids ran past them, laughting as they had done something to annoy the soldiers and then a Flying Fortress followed them with a couple of older model All Terrain Recon Transports followed. It was indeed much like a conquered city, even if the Sith Dominion would leave the city soon for now. Soldiers marched around, speeders swooshed by and modified speeders for troop transporting went around with or without troops in them. Cloud cars flew over every now and then and a few building were being extinguished as fires had been started to drive the invaders off. It was, however, quite amazing to see how Sith Dominion medics would help civilian wounded and carry the dead civilians away with sorrow. If not before, now it would finally hit the sith Hunters: Tepe was not fighting against the people. He was fighting against the regime. Darth Tepe quietly looked at the city from the balcony of the manor. He sighed and smiled at the as peaceful victory as it had been. For a Sith, he wasn't that bloodthirsty of a conqueror. He turned to Danni and straightened himself. He had gotten rid of the helmet once again and now stood there with a smile on his face. "This planet shalt be yours and the fleet that soon arrives will be yours if you take me on my offer. You will be weaker than Kaoin, but as long as you have a good strategic mind, you will have victory from any enemy. You are free to change your commanders as you like, but do not disappoint me, for I will be ruthless even towards you if you deserve it. As soon as I get my Sith Space, the war will start and you can take control of your own conquering armies. However, all action towards Ossus and Coruscant are forbidden until I state so" he said and then turned to the door where a lieutenant came in. "The Sith Hunters have arrived, sire" he said and bowed. "Good, good... I shall meet them in the lobby. Make the arrangements" Tepe said and nodded. "Yes, sire" the Lieutenant said, bowed again and left, closing the door. "So, my new apprentice, your 'friends' have arrived. I will send a new tunic and robes for you, but hurry as the Hunters are already near and I itch to introduce th new yout to them" he asked and walked tothe door, stepping out and nodding to the droid outside who held a neatly folded pile of clothes for the woman inside. he droid went inside to help her dress while the Dark Lord made way for the balcony above the Lobby where he could greet the Hunters. Sigundr
Kaoin made his way across the croweded street with Jsrai to the Golden Palace Hotel. They walked in the plastisteel sliding doors and made quickly for the turbolift. They walked out of the turbolift and headed for the first of the two State rooms on that floor. Kaoin nodded to Jsrai, who knocked on the door. "Who is it?" A voice inquired from inside the door. Jsrai nor Kaoin answered. "Who is it?" The voice asked, more intesively. Again, no answer. "God, if it's those festering kids again I'll kill 'em!" The voice opened the door. It was the described pirate in the communique Jalax. Jsrai punched the man in the nose and turned him around. He pulled his vibroknife out and, while putting his hand over the man's mouth so no noise would eminate, slit his throat. Jsrai picked the man up and slid him inside the room. It was a large room, the foyer to 3 more. Kaoin and Jsrai immediately looked up from the dead man and saw the Senator open the door and walk out. "Jalax. Get me a cup of....." The man gasped at the sight of the dead man. Kaoin jumped the remaining ten feet to the man with theh force and shoved his knife into his stomach, putting his hand over his mouth. The Senator from Aldereen made a half-moaning half-gasping noise as he slumped to the floor, dead. "Let's go. We're done here." Kaoin said as he sheathed his vibroknife and unholstered his blaster. They walked out into the hall as a middle-aged man walked out of the other apartment. Kaoin put his blaster to the fore and fired, taking the man in the chest. "Let's go, before they send people up." They walked to the turbolift and punched the button for the ground level. __________________________ Raek crouched down and sprinted for covering inside a deserted well-kept house. As the patrol passed by, Raek used the force to make a sound that only the troopers heard and they ran towards the direction. Raek walked out of the building and around the corner of it. A somewhat large, out of the way building was situated between the plaza near the entrance to the manor and the landing pad. Raek Net'ka'din walked silently to the door, crouching when he got next to it, and felt inside the building with the Force for anyone in there. He felt three people, two Stormtroopers, and one civilian. Opening the door slowly, he peeked in, and, ascertaining that there was no one in the immediate room, sneaked inside. Raek took two long quiet strides to the next door leading into the building that was ajar. From there he could see the people inside. One trooper was sitting down at a table, cleaning his rifle, blaster next to him on the table; the other was pacing back and forth, mumbling something inaudible. The hostage was tied up on the ground with a pair of binds. Raek shut his eyes, and made a book from the bookshelf in his room fall off. One of the troopers cocked his head, and said he was going to go check it out to the other one. Raek got on the other side of the door as the stormtrooper opened it. He took the hilt of the saber as the trooper closed the door and bashed him in the head. He grabbed him as he fell to the floor and laid him down softly. He relieved the soldier of his blaster rifle and set it to high stun. "Kal?" The trooper said, hearing the initial blow. "You all right?" Raek opened the door in a hurry and shot the man with a stun blast before he could react. He hurried over to the civilian and took out his saber, severing the binds. She stood up and ran for the door, running outside. Raek shrugged and put his lightsaber back on his belt. He walked over to the main door and poked his head out. Finding Kin he motioned him to come in. As Kin arrived, Raek said, "Check around the upstairs of the house. Make sure no one else is here that I missed." Black Knight of Keno
((Aldereen, not Alderaan! There's a difference. First of all Alderaan was blown to smithereen so I doubt there will be a senator in the senate on behalf of it's people. Also, I'd like to note that Raek should tone down the slaughtering and maybe try some sneaking around patrols. It's not the Jedi way and probably not even the Sith hunter way to kill everyone that comes by with a gun in his hand when you could easily take cover and let them pass, right?)) Writer
((Whoa, whoa! No need for screaming competitions! Tepe, has it ever occurred to you that you might overreact just slightly when people make little mistakes? My suggestion? Relax a bit before you pop a blood vessel in your brain and die... nobody here can read minds and the Alderaan/Aldereen messup is a simple one... Oh, and I'm the one that talked about not being Jedi And we aren't Jedi... but we don't go about killing everybody either. Even the Sith Hunters have a sort of 'code of honor' that the will not violate. )) Riebe followed the Dark Jedi to the Manor and her thoughts strayed to Danni. Though they had come for the young Jedi, Riebe knew they would not find her. As they entered the Manor, Riebe saw her suspicions were confirmed. The young woman waiting there for them was dressed completely in black, even down to black gloves. Her hands were clasped casually behind her back. "Welcome to the Manor," she said quietly. "If you are looking for Danielle Bayers, you are too late." "I know that," Riebe answered. "What is your name?" The girl that was once Danielle Bayers allowed a grin to surface on her face. "I am Charna*." ((Charna comes from a Slavic word that means 'dark'.))
Flamehart
Strider stood his ground, choosing not to state any comments about the situation currently. Katherine stood beside him, looking directly at Danielle. Dannielle had been one of her fellow students throughout many of their training exercises, and couldn't help but shake her head at the outcome that had befallen her. Strider looked to Riebe, then back at Charna. "This will be interesting," was all Strider said, looking at Katherine to keep her guard up.

He opened the door and in the same moment he heard a the sound of a droid swiveling, his senses jumped and in a heartbeat the droid had clattered to the ground in two smoking pieces. Kin deactivated his lightsaber, gasping. I guess I'm a little on edge, thought Kin, berating himself for causing such a loud noise. He quickly sealed the door behind him and looked around. Black Knight of Keno
Darth Tepe entered the scene from the shadows still in his Sith Armor. It was rare to see any force-user to use an armor nowadays unless it was truly necessary as in Darth Vader's case. "Welcome to Ruusan, Sith Hunters of young and old. You are here to collect, am I correct? But who are you here to collect? Danni or me? Or maybe both. All of us know you won't escape here alive if you kill me, so why did you bother? Killing me isn't going to help you to destroy the Dominion. I have assembled my plan and launched it. You will die before the war has ended, if you are lucky enought for it" Tepe said and grinned, eyes burning yellow. As a speeder stopped by the door and the ommander and two soldiers came inside, avoiding the Sith Hunters, the grin vanished ever so slightly. The soldiers walked past the group and to their Lord before the Commander bowed. "Sire, the civilians are outside. We have the Medical Company taking care of the wounded. We are ready to leave for the Battleship at your command" "Good... Double the patrols and withdraw any troops who are not patrolling or watching the civilians. Withdraw even the Flying Fortresses" "Yes, sire" the commander said before he and the soldiers turned and left swiftly while Tepe got back to the Hunters. "Indeed... Why have you come...? Of course. Nobody calls you Sith Hunters for nothing. Let me rephrase my question: Why do you think you can Hunt me? Do you not think I am different from the others you have killed? I am a mastermind, my friends! I have driven you from your strongest allies, making them hunt you like beasts! I have framed you for the slaughtering of the Council and I have made the Senate weak of fear. You hunt me for the pleasure of it an frankly, my dears, I don't give a damn" he said and placed his hands on his lightsaber hilts in case they would decide to start a fight. ------ The commlink of Kaoin's beeped as a message arrived. The hologram of the Grand Admiral flashed infront of him and saluted. "Change of plans. You are to take Kamino and Rothana. By force if necessary. Your fleet and armies will wait you on the orbit of Kamino with a mercenary onboard of your flagship. He will be the Prime Clone for our new strike force. The Dark Lord himself will arrive there as soon as he is finished on Ruusan" the Grand Admiral said, bowed and then vanished from his sight before the lift reached the bottom. Flamehart
Strider could only smile, the blade of his lightsaber igniting. He made no move to be aggressive, however, and merely held it on. "You're right - it is for our own pleasure. We are not bound by law or Jedi pacifism, but by or own law, our own codes. The Sith Hunters are a completely different breed of Force users," Strider finally replied. "The Sith Hunters were never one for permanent allies, and the Jedi were just a temporary, long term investment in our attempts to suppress the Sith," He paused, then continued, "We were in no way using the Jedi as a means to kill Sith, but merely, helping them defend against the lures of the Dark Side, to lower the rate of defections to the Dark Jedi." Finally, he wrapped up his response to Tepe, stating, "I've already seen through this scheme of yours Tepe. By creating their animosity for the Sith Hunters, you are causing them to give in to their hate and anger, thus eventually foreshadowing the fall of the Jedi and their conversion to the Dark Side. If it had not been now, it would had been then, after they had been turned, that they would have turned against us." Strider stepped forward, then asked, his tone almost as if he already knew the answer, "You've been planning the removal of the Sith Hunters from the beginning...haven't you?" Black Knight of Keno
Tepe grinned at him and ignited the other of his lightsabers as a response to his actions. The Dark Lord nodded quietly and his eyes flashed into a bright yellow again. "You must see that the Sith Hunters, or at least the few that are left of you and your newer recruits that even now wander around the city are a serious threat to my cause. I am no Darth Sidious nor do I use the Tarkin Doctrine to make the civilians obey me. A simple police force will be enought anywhere as long as it is fair and doesn't abuse it's power, is that not so?" he asked and stepped forwards, closer to the male Sith Hunter a mischievous grin on his face. "But the question you need to ask... Why am I not dead on the floor yet? The Sith Hunters are here, so I should be finished" he said and then took out his other ligtsaber, activating it also and getting ready for a fight. "This is what you want, so this is what you will have" Darth Tepe noted and his eyes flashed brightly as the image of Kin and Raek being captured and locked up while the Ragnarok was burning and an AT-AR left the landing pad with guns still smoking. Of course neither of these were true, but Tepe wanted them to think so or at least that it was the future of how things were going to be.
Joetheeskimo
Kin stepped over the droid's remains and looked around. He appeared to be in a regular household; there was nothing military about it - no weapons or turrets or security cameras. Obviously when the civilians fled, the soldiers had settled in one of their houses while they waited for their leader's orders. Taking one more look around, Kin sealed the door behind him and ran back down the stairs to meet up with Raek. He sensed that the two Sith Hunters and the new recruit were in considerable peril, but he knew if they were careful they would be able to escape with their lives or even defeat the Sith Lord. If Strider and Riebe are killed, I don't know what I'll do, thought Kin. Already he felt like the Jedi Order would never again fit him.
Writer
"Unlike what you seem to think, the Sith Hunters are not always on the hunt," Riebe said. "We came for Danielle Bayers, but she has been replaced by Charna." Charna grinned at being mentioned, but said nothing. Riebe took a step forward, switching on one blade of her staff and switching it from hand to hand. "Is it open war you desire, Tepe?" Riebe asked quietly. "You threaten, you smirk, you place images in our heads that we all know are not true." "Are they false?" Charna asked softly, trying to arouse some doubt in the Sith Hunters. Riebe shot an annoyed look in her direction. "Yes," she answered certainly. "They are." To Tepe, she said, "Again, I ask what is it that you want?" Black Knight of Keno
"No war is fully open, Riebe, you should know that. And the images I give you are a choice for a path. This path may be the one you are plodding down on currently or a vision of another, but that is for you to choose and wonder about" he said and at the same time swung his lightsaber back towards Charna to silence her. She had much to learn of talking to enemies. He then swung his lightsaber back to his ready stance. "The jedi you seek is here no more, so you are out of your place. Fight me or leave, for you will not probably have another chance at it. Espceially without an army behind you like the jedi" he said and twitched expectantly. Flamehart
Strider kept his blade steady by his side, not lifting it once. He looked directly at Tepe, who could feel the anger within the Sith Hunter. "I will not allow this senseless conquest to continue, Tepe, even if we do not fight you here. You're taking advantage of the weaknesses of society, and the Jedi themselves," Strider said, shortly after sending a mental message to Riebe. Should we carry on and fight him here or let him go? I stand by your decision, Sister Riebe.
Writer
In response to Tepe's warning, Charna bowed her head and remained silent. Riebe stared at Tepe for several long seconds. Then, she shut her saber off and placed it on her belt. "You say we will never have the chance to fight you again," she said, "but keep this in mind, Lord Tepe. A man is never more vulnerable than in the place he feels the safest." She bowed mockingly and gestured for the others to follow her in search of Kin and Raek. They would be leaving. Danni had made her choice.
