Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 "What if your photo collection was an entry point into the world, like a wormhole that you could jump through and explore… " I stumbled upon this new technology, being developped by Microsofl Live Labs, called Photosynth. Basically, it analyses a bunch of pictures of a place or object and creates a 3D composite in which you can navigate and view all the individual pictures. It's hard to explain in words, so I'll just give you a link instead, make sure to watch the videos. http://labs.live.com/photosynth I hope this catches on, I beleive it has a lot of potential.
