BongoBob
Damn man, bleeding edge much? But that sounds pretty ****in shweet. I'd go for it.
jon_hill987
I wouldn't go for such a cutting edge graphics card, however good it is it will be obsolete when DirectX 10 cards come out. you will probably want to replace it soon anyway.
toms
Waiting for the directx10 graphics cards might indeed be a good idea.. if you can resist that long.. ..they are up to 5000+ now?!?! im only on a 1700+
Dagobahn Eagle
I mean you could be a total monkey terd and shove me in the wrong direction, but you guys still like me right? That's one stupid, weak, useless computer. Just give it to me and I'll dispose of it properly. 'Cause I like you, whoever you are.
Pho3nix
That's pretty sweet. Too bad those specs will suck after 3-4 years.
toms
Personally I'm of the opinion that buying cutting edge PC stuff is a waste of money.. there seems to be a sweet spot about 6months behind the cutting edge where you can get stuff that is still good enough to run the latest games, and costs about half the price. That way its $900 every 3 years not $1800. But thats just me.. if you have the cash for this then go for it..

The video cards these days are so high-end that games never use the full potential of the cards anyways so it's not worth getting IMO. But if you have the money I guess there's nothing wrong with it. IG-64
That's pretty sweet. Too bad those specs will suck after 3-4 years. Or sooner. We're in a transitioning stage right now, which is why I'm not upgrading my graphics card yet. Well... That and i don't have enough money. >_>
jon_hill987
like i said, get a good pc with a cheap graphics card, that way when the DX10 ones come out you won't waste so much money when you chuck the old one out when upgrading.
Troopr-Undr-Fir
Ok, so now I understand that I should maybe go for the 7600 instead of the 7950 (or would you guys reccomend that I go dual 7600?), but other than that, the hard drive should be more than acceptable? Mother board? CPU? 2GB of memory? 2 optical drives? Power supply? Didn't know that DX 10 was even on the horizon yet, I miss the internets I already bought a viewsonic LCD monitor for $150 from new egg, so that's coming soon, and also a new desk, Razor mouse, and backlit keyboard... neon blue is awsome
Sigundr
That's pretty sweet. Too bad those specs will suck after 3-4 years. Lolzors. Yeah, my Dell 2400 already started sucking the second we got it.

Get a singal 7600GT, I think that would keep you playing every game that comes out up untill they need DX10 anyway. and if you really need to upgrade again before DX10 (which is coing out in late 2007 I believe) you can get a second one. Lolzors. Yeah, my Dell 2400 already started sucking the second we got it. That is why I would never buy from dell.
Lantzen
Yepp, i would also wait to buy a graphic card until directX 10 is comming, i have been saving up money this summer to get a card then
MrWally
The 7600GT will still be great for any game coming out. And if you have the money, you can probably be upgrading to a DX10 graphics card by the Holiday Season or early 2007.
