Bith Scientist in Flophouse (Spoilers)

I have already started the mission regarding the Bith Scientist in the Flophouse.

 

I came back and found the guy's datapad and it seems like he's dead.

 

Could someone please tell me what i have to do?

Once you read his datapad, that's the end of the quest itself, though it can serve a purpose if you talk to the party member who joins you when you're nearly done with Nar Shadaa.

I always enjoyed this little part of the story because if you don't follow the certain paths for the answer, you never find out and it just becomes a mystery. I thought it was pretty spooky as it was never explained first time i played it.

Well that droid attacks you in that docking bay thing next to the Jekjek Tarr, which is related to the quest if i recall correctly, hes dead because he was onto Goto's droids being syncranised all togeather via the secret code

 

 

Addendum; It would not suprise me master if the meatbags over at Team Gizka will have found some cut content regarding this that will be restored when TSLRP is finished

The Bith Scientist, along with at least two other quests will have some relevance later. Not game-shattering relevance, mind, but they are required for a particular "sidequest."

 

 

To the best of my recollection, and I'm going from memory here, in order to get all of GOTO's backstory, which adds some nifty attributes to your PC--you must, in addition to sufficient influence with GOTO, have successfully completed the following quests: Bith scientist, the protocol droid in the pazaak den, and the droid dominating the swoop races. (Note: I think that's all of them, someone else may correct me on that...)

ahhhhh... you would think so wouldn't you? the dumb thing is only seeking to help the Republic, which by the way has been around way to long, it cares nothing of Credits. The only reason it would is if it could find a way to hire the Exile, or Revan

Erm...I only did the Bith sidequest and the Swoop Race. I didn't interact with the pazaak den droid sidequest. But I still got the Goto confessing. I just asked him about why there were droids all over his ship, and about the murders, and Goto just admitted the truth.

 

I'm not sure if the Swoop Race is necessary actually...You actually gain infulence with the Exchange for blowing up the droid, since the droid's owner was stealing the Exchange's credits. Prehaps the Bith's Sidequest is necessary, but I'm not so certain as to that too.

If the income is going to Goto himself, it's quite strange to monitor the source by going undercover. It could have directly monitor the sources through the agents who own the premises. Anyways, back on topic.

It depends on how much influence you have with him. If you have more influence, then you need less examples of droid activity, if you have less influence, you need more examples.

Have T3 be one of the two characters that springs the Exile from Goto's Yacht. When the Exile rejoins the party, talk to T3 and he'll reveal information on Vogga's Warehouse. Also, there's a part near the bridge where T3 will mention that it's controlling thousands of droids all over the planet. When you get enough influence with Goto, you can mention things like that and you should get about 250 exp for all of them. Bith scientist, pazaak droid, swoop droid, warehouse, Jekk Jekk Tarr being droid-unfriendly, etc. I don't recall how much you get for getting Goto to reveal what he is. 1500 exp?

Anyway, as others mentioned, the Bith Scientist quest ends pretty much when you go back and find only his severed arm on the floor. It's just a piece in the puzzle that is Goto.
