The Seeker
I doubt I'm the only one here who still reads the comics section of the newspaper before anything else, and what I've noticed is that they have just plain gotten tired. I mean, there are some really good comics out there, but instead of helping them along, my paper keeps posting Peanuts reruns and Garfield (technically new, but hell, reruns there too) So, what do you guys consider some good modern comics fit for the funny pages (whether they are there yet or not.) Personally, Dilbert is usually great. At least it makes me smile. Pickles is another goodie that sort of makes fun of old people while glorifying them at the same time. Funny stuff. Lately though, my favorite has been Cow and Boy Not since Calvin and Hobbes has a comic made me laugh this consistently. Sure it's pretty similar to Calvin and Hobbes, but theres been such a dry run of comics that make me laugh that I'll take it and ask for seconds. It's a new one for sure, but I hope to see it in my paper soon.

MrWally
I rarely read comics from the newspaper, normally I get them in book collections. Specifically Calvin and Hobbes, Garfield, and Peanuts. But from what I remember from the paper, Baby Blues (I think?) is quite funny and usually brings a life. Along with Foxtrot, of course. Davinq
Hell, I don't even bother w/ the papers now. Except for Foxtrot, all I do on Sundays is whip out the 80USD Calvin and Hobbes Complete collection, read a ton of that.
RoxStar
Foxtrot was good up until about two years ago, all the jokes are simply recycled or stale :/
