Acrylic
How much? $40 for the Wiimote, and $20 for the Nunchuck controller. Which, well, isn't too bad. The PS3 Sixaxis controllers are $60 too.

Acrylic
Do you have a wii to plug that into? No, not yet. People are criticizing me for getting those. My friends are. But ya know, I figure I'd get it out of the way, so I'd have less things to get once I go and get the console. At the moment, I still have the Wii, Zelda, and Red Steel on my list. Maybe the Virtual Console Controller, and points for the Virtual Console. So, I went to Best Buy today, and there weren't any left. So I'm kind of glad that I got them. Possibly on launch day, there will be a lot put out again, but I just wanted to be on the safe side.
Lynk Former
My friends critised me for buying anything Nintendo, but in the end they all rushed over to my place to play my Nintendo systems... so who cares. Anywayz, so, how does it feel? XD

Lynk Former
How long is the cord connecting the two parts? Is it comfortable to move around? I haven't heard of anyone having any actual problems with the cord between the Nunchaku and Wiimote. Everyone was worried but never thought about it when they were actually playing and then realised that it wasn't a problem when they thought about it. Lightsaberboy
They're wireless! *Smack* but you still have to plug a receiver into the wii don't you? Like the wavebird.
Alegis
Should have bought Wii play instead of just wiimote! Guess you'll want several remotes anyways
coupes.
but you still have to plug a receiver into the wii don't you? Like the wavebird. No, you don't. But you can plug your wavebird receivers in the GCN slots for cube games.
BongoBob
Does anyone know if I can use my GC controllers for the Virtual Console games?
Lynk Former
@ Bob: Pretty much all VC games will allow you to use your GCN controller, yes. When you go to download the games themselves you'll see controller icons showing you which controllers are compatible with that game.
Acrylic
"How long is the cord connecting the two parts? Is it comfortable to move around?" (Didn't feel like using the quote button. =p) Anyways, the cord connecting the two is a good length. The only time that it will become a problem is if you have some un-humanly wide skeletal structure, to where your arms lengths are God-knows-where apart. But its a good length, but not too long to get annoying. And yes, it's comfortable to move around. It's comfortable holding the Wii-mote, and the nunchuck. After playing the Wii, and Wii Sports, (Didnt have time to play Zelda yet), I have come to this conclusion: The Wii is a fun system to play. I'll just say it plain and simple: It's different. It's unlike anything you've done before with video games. Sometimes I think, "Why didn't anyone think of this before?" And also, I don't know why people are complaining about graphics. Theyre fine to me. And I even have a High-Def TV... They're just games. Nintendo has been saying all along that the graphics wouldn't be as great. Then, why are people complaining? Ask me anything about it, since I have one now.

RoxStar
Psh, Hello! Don't you remember Duck Hunt!? Haha, actually... http://www.straightdope.com/columns/010511.html Its a light trick, much less complex. Oh, and the graphics still look quite nice to me... Its cartoony and simplistic, but very clean.
MrWally
That second picture violates just about every rule of bowling etiquette. For SHAME!
Commander Obi-Wan
Wii Sports is quite fun. And the cartoony and simple graphics are fine. It's a nice, cheap game that comes with the system (for most of us).
