Sith_Reven
What if the next kotor game tells the story of before. It would start right after Exar Kun was defeated and would play Revan's tale from the beginning. You would be taught by kreia and zhar and others and then go to the unknown regions and malachor 5, gather and army and play a story up until the beginning of kotor 1. Bastila would be a young prospective jedi and you, being Revan could have a say that she be trained. skipping to another point you and your party could go to fight the mandolorians on dxun and other worlds we haven't seen yet. Revan could discover more sith planets like the one in JEDI KNIGHT: MYSTERIES OF THE SITH, called Dosunn(I believe) and start an academy there. These are thoughts only and and I would still wish to hear the story after kotor 2. There should be two new kotor games! Let me know what you think
Vaelastraz
I'm interested in a detailed story about the mandalorian war and Revan's and Malak's history from the beginning, but it I dont think there's enough in that plot to have an RPG. Leading a war, most of the game, would get boring rather quickly... and that way you can't have side quests. No... Kotor III should be 74 years after Kotor II. jonathan7
I don't think it should be KotOR 3 as the point of KotOR's are the PC's allignment is chosen by us (the players) Revans destiny is already decided, so there would no longer be the lightside/darkside option... We also knows what happens, and part of the great things about the KotOR series is we decide the fate of the galaxy and the PC...which you can't do with the Mandalorian wars and while it would be a good game that I would play, I dont think it should be K3. Anglu
What if the next kotor game tells the story of before. It would start right after Exar Kun was defeated and would play Revan's tale from the beginning. I think, in that case all my fanfic-work of the last months was for nothing. Okay, I can't tell the whole correctly right anyway because I still don't know KotOR II... For example: Was Kreia Revan's Master or how did I understand that? Jediphile
A prequel would mean that the plot is fixed. So while it might work for a strategy- or action-game, it would not be appropriate for a CRPG where you choices affect how the plot unfolds. I wouldn't mind games or books or whatever that explore the Mandalorian Wars or other aspects of Revan's life, but since he must end up as Darth Revan, a CRPG is not really an option. And Revan's story begins years and years after Exar Kun's fall. Not sure how old Revan is in K1, but I doubt he was even born until after the Sith War. The next KotOR game should be KotOR3, set just a few years after TSL.
tbl
The prequel should be a book, comic, action game or RTS and not a cRPG for the reasons posted above. Anyway, would you seriously want the next KOTOR game not to follow the events in TSL.
Master Kavar
I would love to play a prequel to the first two games, but not as KotOR III. Save it for a spin-off, side quests, or an expansion pack.

Rabish Bini
No. Because that would mean that Kotor's story won't add together. Kotor 3 should finish off the story of Revan in the Unknown regions. That way they could finish the story and not worry about people complaining that they want Kotor 3. The Architect
Umm...wouldn't that be KotOR 0, not KotOR III? If K3 has nothing to do with Revan, the Exile and the True Sith, I will be disappointed.
tbl
Umm...wouldn't that be KotOR 0, not KotOR III? ... I think this should go without saying, but nevertheless, the 3rd KOTOR game isn't necessarily synonymous with KOTOR III. The 3rd KOTOR game would be the 3rd KOTOR game to be released (which the OP, Sith_Revan was referring to) as KOTOR III would be the game whose events follow K2. Unless LA and/or the developer decide to call the prequel K3, then that would be even more disappointing.
Prime
The KOTOR comic series is already covering a lot of prequel type stuff, starting with the beginning of the Mandalorian Wars. I'd rather get my KOTOR prequel fix that way...
Anglu
Hmm, okay... but I didn't see much of these Comocs in German shops yet... I better check out Wookieepedia
