Why do popular people and names like WWII use roman numerals instead of numbers?

Because they are made up of a series of reeds that are blown through the bag that the pipers constantly have to fill up. It takes lots of stamina. Oh, and kilts are only skirts if you wear underwear >_>

Why is the Gunn clan so hated?

Well, actually, they had that by accident, the first motto was "Piece or Door," they were originally doormakers, but after a few mis-writes, a war had started....and hence...:D

Why do we come up with mottos?

Posted

For CommanderQ to come up with random origins for them. Or because unrequited love makes us feel bad and we need a saying to keep us calm in that painful time. Oh, sorry, got a little carried away there...

They are often in latin or chinese characters, unless you are from Ancient Rome or China, you wont know what they mean :D
