Marauder's Fury
Pretty much nonsensical trivia, but still... What do you think was Revan's title when he went to war against Mandalorians? My guess is Jedi Knight. Vandar calls Revan a prodigal knight during the Cross of Glory ceremony. But then Master Dorak mutters something about "two eager Padawans, Revan and Malak" and it gets me confused. Not to mention those stupid chronicles wherein Revan is called a Jedi Master (well, "official" or not, I wouldn't give them credit anyway). So, what's your take? Vaelastraz
Padawan or Knight. Definitly not Master.
Jediphile
I would say he had the rank of knight. It's quite common for masters to continue to refer to their former students as padawans even after they've achieved knighthood. Indeed, Revan's and Malak's defiance of the council may well have been seen as youthful tendencies "proving" to the masters - or at least some of them - that Revan didn't quite yet have what it took to be a real knight in experience, even if he did have it in skill. The Mandalorian Wars would have given Revan a lot of experience quickly, however, so I don't think it's inappropriate to consider him a master on that basis. That said, the KotOR comic book suggests to me that Revan was already Malak's master before they defied the council, in which case he could be called master for that reason. I mean, Obi-Wan took Anakin as padawan immediately upon achieving the rank of jedi knight. Does this make him a knight or a master? He is a knight in the jedi order, but he is also Anakin's master. He is not a master on the council, however, and neither was Revan.
Totenkopf
If title reflects ability and not merely position, then Revan probably was a master in fact. Within the Jedi hierarchy he probably attained knighthood prior to leaving them.

Emperor Devon
Probably a Knight. Padawans are not allowed to seek training from other teachers before they're knighted, which Revan did a fair bit of.
Sir Vougalot
Padawan or Knight. Definitly not Master. Well, if he was a Knight then he still would have been addressed as "Master Revan." It's a title that isn't exclusive to the rank of Master but is extended to all members of the Jedi Order above Padawan.
PoiuyWired
Definitely a Master when it comes to his ability, now it is a different story when it comes to jedi Council giving out the title. I think he is still ranked as a Knight. Also note that Revan does not have a Padawan. This might be him not interested in taking one though.
