Lightsaberboy Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 The estimated value of http://www.lucasforums.com is: $48,608 from http://www.dnscoop.com/ interesting. lol.
BongoBob Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Well yes, with ads for free 360's, verizon wireless, and google text ads for http://www.starwarsjesus.com, how could it be worth any less
JoeDoe 2.0 Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 It has more sentimental value to me. ................ give me a cut too!
tk102 Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 In an interview with Aristotle and Visac: I wills say this though... for years the network ran in the red and costs us thousands and thousands just to keep alive. At least these days we're in the black and trust me, we do it for the fun and community, it's not a financial windfall or anything I think it's fair that the profits go to the entrepreneurs that founded this place.
Jeff Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 When forums that earn a lot of money are actually sold they usually go for 8-16 months revenue depending on other factors. So that would be the actual value of it, those estimators can't take in to account traffic or posts or members.
jebbers Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 WTF? Zombo.com is estimated at $100,814... all it does is say "This is Zombocom. Welcome to Zombocom." And other stupid things.
swphreak Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 I'm pretty sure it costs that much to run LFN. It says http://www.lfnetwork.com is estimated at $43,400, and apparently a single link is estimated to be worth $17. Interesting little tool.
Datheus Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Google.com is $1,743,760,000? Pft. That number could easily be doubled.
