HK-52
errrr.....I have some ideas, one is to make the female model for each race P.D.:an idea is make a bit shorter the male one and use the tga(I'm not sure if that are the textures)of the fermale model P.D. of the P.D.:can you make the kaminoan(it's ok, well the people of kamino from swII)with the animations of the wookies that are taller. P.D. of the P.D. of the P.D.:the kaminoans can't use armors, only clothes that are designed for they(example: kaminoan robes race restriction:kaminoan defense bonus:+3 I Forgot to ask if you can make it for K2 with the dancer outfit for alien fermales
Gargoyle King
{Snip} Removed content referring to deleted post(s) -RH ON TO THE MOD: It's looking very impressive, and if animations are ever sorted out then maybe the animations for the Selkath and Wookiee models etc. can be sorted out which will make this mod even better. Thanatos9t
Whoa I should really check this board more often, I'm glad that people are still interested in this mod, I've just started University so I'm a bit busy atm, but fear not the mods not dead. As for the animation problems the Wookiee's do not have any as Zaalbar can use all of the fighting styles and force power animations, so that means that the standard wookie can aswell. Selkath on the other hand do not have conventional weapon animations, insead they fight with melee weapons as if they were unarmed, so they use their claws to swing at the oponent in a clubing type maner. They do not have force animations nor weapon drawing animations. But for some reason they can use dual handed guns and a single blaster and can do basic attacks using them. Unfortunatly I lack the skill to export/import models into KoToR, though I wondered if the Selkath problem could be fixed by importing the model onto one of the other character bases such as the wookiee and rigging the model to the Wookiee's joints. Its almost impossible to do that and quite insane The importing and refitting the model to the wookie skeleton would be a long task , not so impossible . Its the Importing in the gamethat's the hard part , if I'm right MDLops doesn't handle animation well or more propebly NOT at all . I don't think there's any Tool avaible that handles animations for Kotor... Or , unless we know what "Master"bone file the Selkath use , someone could try to add the animations there . THis would give some other models the nessacery animations aswell . ( But your still your stuck with that Importing ) And don't look at me , Rigging a Mesh is hard task to do , with lots fun redoing of weird buggy and glitchy animations . herosinger
Looks good so far; I can't wait to see how it turns out. Word of warning to everyone, there have been repeated obvious attempts by various members to 'bump' this thread with needless posts... one more and this thread will have to be closed. Sorry but no more 'bumps'... Mkay? Only the OP is excluded from this. Thanks. -RH
Thanatos9t
*Cough* *Cough* Man its dusty in here, well I suppose thats what happens if you leave it for months, anyways I have finished my University assignments for now so I have some spare time again. Miles Edgeworth
Looks good to me! Revan's Robes look a bit strange, but there's no way around that...
redrob41
Welcome back . I've been really hoping that you'd re-start this mod. I'd hate to see you put in all that work, and then never finish it. So far they're all looking pretty good. The only comment I have so far is that some of the Jedi robes (especially the Trandoshan) look like they are wearing brown shorts over tan pants. Perhaps if they just tucked thier robe tops into thier pants? I know that it's because of the limitations of the in-game model. Oh well, I can tell that you're trying pretty hard with 'em Keep it up. Thanatos9t
heh, that soldier looks like a shifty Rodian So, how many textures will he have when all is said and done? Well at the moment the Rodian has 52 model textures which are: Normal Clothes:3 Armor C: 7 Armor D: 8 Armor E: 8 Armor F: 7 Armor G: 6 Armor H: 7 Jedi Clothes: 4 Starforge/Revan Robes: 2 He still needs his unequipped clothes so thats 3 more 1 for each type. Aswell as his portrait pictures so 1 normal and 4 transitions. Thats 9 more textures. So in total the rodian will come with 61 texture files. darth dantius
dude these are really well done... i was wondering, if you were feeling up to a challenge and had some spare time if you could try making an ithorian that is playable?
settoken
Amazing job !!! I like the rodian jedi a lot ;-) I can't wait to see the leviathan cutscene when Malak will reveal to me that Revan was a Selkath
Thanatos9t
Ok when working on the darkside underwear variations I noticed a bug in KoToR, when doing the Rodian Scoundrel darkside underwear I extracted the male eqivelent one which should be pmbasd01 as pmbas01 is the standard non darkside one: what I found is apparently Saul Karath's clothes instead... which leads to a rather messed up looking darkside scoundrel underwear body, due to the different UV maps. I wonder could anyone else verify that it is a mistake with KoToR and not my version, considering I have a vanilla install of KoToR, apart from my alien character mods. Ferc Kast
I just researched that problem. I started a new game as a male scoundrel and cheated to become darkside. It isn't just you with that problem. Apparently, it's a mistake with KotOR itself.
Thanatos9t
Man that was a quick response, thanks Ferc Kast I wonder why that has gone unnoticed for so long, though I suppose later in the game you don't exactly want to be walking around in your underwear... Now that does leave the question what do I do with my Scoundrel Rodians underwear? I suppose I could make him look like Saul

If you check out my [K1] New DS Underwear for Bastila & PCs mod, I've already made a new texture for the DS male scoundrel. Go ahead and use that one as a base for your Rodian if you like Edit: Although, since the DS underwear are all so similar, you could probably re-use one of the other ones that you've already modified for your Rodian. You wouldn't even have to re-name the tga, just copy the text entry in the 2da file for texaevil. For mine, the Soldier and Scoundrel are really similar; the only difference is the stripe on the hips.
Thanatos9t
What I ended up doing after noticing how similar the Soldiers underwear was to the darkside version, was taking the standard Scoundrel Underwear and applying the colour to the parts that were grey before I then brightened the red and put on the Starforge logo and added a sleeve from one of my other darkside versions:
