PC Hybrid Lizards

These are the characters that got me started modding. When I first tried out the Holowan Plug-in2, one of the skins that stood out for me was a lizard looking guy, that I think was done by Colja. It looked great, and I started a new game, playing the dark side. After a while though, I noticed that there was very little visible change as my character became more evil. I embarked on my journey as a modder then, just so I could add some dark side transitions.

At first, I simply photoshopped some new skins, but realized that in order to release it as a new mod, I'd have to do it from scratch. That's when I learned about Taina's Replacer program (my thanks to ChAiNz.2da for the help). With this, and all the other great tools and tutorials that can be found in these forums, I began really getting into modifying my character.

I got so into it, that I created 3 more similar characters, each more involved than the last. What I ended up with are two males, and two females, patterned after green geckos and desert tan horned lizards. The head models have been changed to have rounded ears close to the head, with some additional ridges and spikes to the eyebrows and skull. The scales pattern is a re-used Krayt dragon skin, and the hardest part was to make all the scales blend and match at the seams in the model, especially around the ears.

Download this mod from FileFront (If it ever comes back)

They are all available from File Front and I've named them:

It was because of these characters that I created my [K1] Species Specific feats for PCs because I wanted the lizards to have different abilities. When you use that mod as well, the lizards will have: Skill Bonus Stealth +4; Decreased Skill Modifier Persuade -1; Computer Use -1; Damage Vulnerability to Cold 25% for 2 rds; Monster Damage 1d8; On Hit Properties Poison DC 18 Average Damage; Improved Saving Throws Poison 1. The cool thing is that bare handed attacks can sometimes poison an enemy.

So please let me know what you think. I'll continue to make new PCs, like my Wookiees, although there may be some long wait times between them. The more detailed they are, the longer they take. I started these lizards in July, and finished in October, with a lot of days working on them for 12hrs. Mind you, I was simultaneously working on a lot of different mods in that time.

Please enjoy :clap2:

These look great. Any chance of a TSL version?

Well, I'm still working on a lot of K1 mods, but there's always a chance ;)

Nice, I was wondering when you were going to release ths.

I kept tweaking them  , and hey, good things come to those that wait :D

It seems we have a David Icke's fan here lol

Actually I was a fan of the old "V" tv series. But when I read your post, I looked up David Icke, and it doesn't sound like he's a fan of lizardfolk. Oh well, he doesn't need to play KotOR as a giant lizard then :xp:

With a reptile PC, the romance side-quests are a bit weird...

I mean, Bastila kissing a guy, looking like a Trandoshan? I don't think so.

I can't imagine playing a female Revan and Carth kissing a hybrid lizard but I'm game to try it.

Hey, we live in an enlightened galaxy where people are judged not by thier outward appearance, instead they are valued on whether they choose the light side or the dark side :bossk:

On the other hand, I could see Bastila kissing a male lizard hybrid pc.

Hmm. Me too.

Edit: My only thought (besides "wow") when seeing the screens for the first time was that the female characters needed stomach muscles. They already look like something you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley; well-defined abs would make them even tougher-looking!

I think there's pretty good muscle definition in the abs. Look at the middle snake girl.

I was thinking, as reptiles, they don't really need boobs and could get away with using male armor models. :p

Well, I could get technical and say that having breasts may mean that they give birth like mammals instead of laying eggs (Mammals that develop in a placenta have larger brains than reptiles). Truthfully, I didn't have the time to edit every female body model in the game :nut:. Plus I think they look better with them, rather than being androgenous ;). Besides, the Falleen females have breasts, so why not these lizards? According to Wookieepedia:

The appearance of breasts and other mammalian characteristics in Falleen females and males have also led exobiologists to believe that Falleen share a mammal ancestor with Humans.
