FILE SIZE: DATE RELEASED: 8/2/08 (Febuary 8th, 2008) DESCRIPTION: This enhanced restoration creates 4 new characters, C'Ayla Secura, Master Vos, Lewbacca and a Sith Ghost/Dark Jedi. A completely new storyline, dangerous creatures, and a whole new area for the Kashyyk Shadowlands! When you first enter the new area, you will find yourself staring Viper Kinraths in the face, dangerous Viper's. After killing them, you will come across a Wookiee in dire need of your help as he is getting attacked by some kind of creatures. After helping him defeat the creatures, you are faced with a decision to do the right thing or kill him. After that, you come across a Padawan of the Jedi Order, Padawan Secura. She takes you to Master Vos and you can decide to help them with the newly added Sith Ghost, or kill them both. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Put the kas_m25ab. mod into your MODULES folder people, not your Override. COMMENTS: This is a beta version, so please, tell Seamhainn if you find any bugs or whatnot. If you find a error in the ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS, contact DarthJebus05. (Email up the top) BUGS: This is the Beat version, so people can spot out bugs that Seamhainn or I missed. Sir Vougalot Posted February 8, 2008 Share Posted February 8, 2008 Suggestions for future versions: It's obvious that you're suggesting that your characters are ancestors of some renown characters from the movie era, but it's not really that convincing if their names are so similar, such as Aayla and C'ayla Secura, and Lowbacca and Lewbacca. Learn from another ancestral that we come across: Bib and Komad Fortuna. The first names are nothing alike and thus sound more believable. The same could be applied to your characters: try to think of more original first names. Doing so would make it seem all the more believable that these are real ancestors, and that they don't just happen to have nearly identical first names as their descendants that we know and love. Another thing is having Secura's master be "Master Vos." What are the chances that the ancestor and the descendant -- four thousand years apart -- in addition to having nearly identical first names, were Padawans to Masters of the same family? It all lies in the eye of the beholder... 2. I always thought that Quinlan and Aayla should have been a couple, but, alas, the writers decided otherwise. At my first approach I invisioned to include more hints that there is a relationship between C'ayla and Master Vos here. But as always projects are cut down during development. Also, were any of the characters mentioned meant to be in the story line or is this from the modders imagination? Because it isnt really restored content otherwise. Seamhainn Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 There was absolutely nothing in this module left by the developers. (In other words NOTHING!) I made everything up myself. And, yes, there are real VO (though no human ones mind) and lipsync. Besides some walking anomalies due to a missing .pth file (which can't be created by us) you should not experience any differences to the "real" game (I hope :-) ). ARC Cody Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 Wait a minute. Is Master Vos a human? If he is, then I'm assuming his dialog isn't voiced. But if he is human, you could make him speak Twilek and make him explain that his padawan doesnt understand basic, or let him state that he was born on a world where basic wasnt commonly used.
