(By the way, I didnt plan on making the enemy saberist anyone special, hes just a random Sith saberist ;))

Aeran 'joined' in the fight, ducking behind a crate and firing a few wild shots making sure to miss, he noticed the other nearby Sith follow suit, and the cloaked one slowly advanced on a certain Marine....

Aeran ducked a shot from Thyrrn, and noticed a lot of the sith already dead, but more on the way.

"Ah right ah right... I guess Jarhead's can aim" He muttered as he saw Thyrrn engage the Sith Saberist close up, obviously not having the upper hand.

Aeran saw Thyrrn slowly back away, he could tell he was hurt but he didnt show it, and then Thyrrn got ready to throw himself once more at the Sith, however before he could Aeran was pulling out his blaster rifle and firing straight into the saberist... and saw in dismay as he simply spun around and blocked every shot with his bare hands!

"You fool... you really think I didnt suspect a traitor in my ranks? Typical of your kind.... you betrayed the Republic once, dont even think about defecting to the TRUE Sith." He smirked, staring at Aeran and possibly forgetting Thyrrn.

"Keep telling yourself that mate." Aeran said as he held the trigger down as shot after shot went toward the Sith, hopefully Thyrrn would take advantage, a saberist may be skilled, but he cannot cover himself in a 360 degree arc.. or such is the hope.

"You fool... you really think I didn't suspect a traitor in my ranks? Typical of your kind.... you betrayed the Republic once, don't even think about defecting to the TRUE Sith."

Thryyn heard the Sith speak, and watched as Aeran started pumping rounds into the Sith, and figured out the man's plan.

While the Sith was distracted, Thryyn sneaked up as best he could while maintaining a decent rate of closure. When he was convinced that the Sith's full attention was on Aeran and deflecting his shots with the sword, Thryyn stabbed him full in the back with his vibro-dagger and then plunged the knife into his head, doing his best to insure that he was dead.

"So, Aeran." He said conversationally. "Got any spare med-packs? That or some adrenals or painkillers would be nice right about now."

((Really? Well, we can remove the mask and figure out that it's not a Sith Lord and Thryyn's just having delusions of grandeur, like some other SW characters :D))

A dagger in the dark! Erm, light.

Zarena had her vibroblade out, and with the help of her visor could just make out shapes in the bright lights her flash grenade had left. A shink! through the armour gaps here, a crack! over the head there, a deft thunk! in the groin now and again... Ha! I'm better at this brawling malarkey than I give myself credit for!

As the flash faded, Zarena found that most of the Sith that had followed her were on the ground, either dead, unconscious, or nursing wounds in their tender areas. She raised one hand to fiddle with her visor once again, the panel filtering back to almost clear, and with the other hand she slid her vibroblade back into its sheath. She saw Thryyn and Aeran standing over next to the saber wielder, who seemed to have been taken care of.

"Nice work, boys," she commented as she strode to join them.

"Nice work, boys,"

"Thanks." Thryyn said, "you wouldn't happen to have a med-pack on you?" He shrugged. "I used up my only one re-inflating my lungs."

Thryyn kicked at the fallen Sith Lord in frustration, and then the mask came off, revealing a human with hideous tattoos inked into his face and covering his bald head.

"Well..." Thryyn said. "If that was just a normal Dark Jedi... than I'm glad I'm not the one doing the fighting against the real Sith Lord."

Though Kevak had missed his intial target her did manage to kill a few sith soldiers and almost stabbed Aeran who was wearing their armor. Kevak decided to decloak and instruct the group.

"Nice work out there everyone but we're not done yet, we still need to get Thryyn to acess the communications and while we're at it we might as well take down their armory. We should split up into two groups again, Sergeant Thryyn you've kept your team alive so I'll let you choose the groups."

Aeran threw a life support pack straight at Thyrrn.

"I gotta tell ya, these suits are quite cosy."

Aeran then walked over to the dead Sith and looked at him.

"Looks similar to the Sith instructors on Korriban, good thing I was a sentry and not a student."

Aeran then looked back down the corridor he came from.

"I need to get my armour back, it means more to me than protection against all but the most dangerous weapons, I could also maybe.... pretend to be a true sith straggler who just got away from the slaughter we made."

He felt tempted to take off his helmet but for now he left it on.

"Well Im ready to make a move, but if I keep this armour on you lot might shoot me... hell, I would of shot me."

Aeran threw a life support pack straight at Thyrrn.

Thryyn caught the life support pack with ease and used it on his back, "ahh." He said, "that feels much better."

"I don't mind our current groups, we all know each other and seem to work well... though, since we're in two groups, Aeran, go with Kevak and Shara. With a regular soldier there, they should be able to identify everything in the Armory with relative ease... and while you're in there, could you pick up some four millimeter penetrators or some seven millimeter long-rounds, the Glider has none in stock and I'm running low on ammo."

After say that, he stooped down and grabbed one of the fallen Sith's blaster rifles and checked how many shots were left. Fifty-six, he also made sure to grab a few ammo packs and stuff them in his pockets.

"Zarena, Jaq, shall we?" He asked the two other members of his party.

Shara shivered as Kevak's hand slid down her arm and into her hand.

She felt him give her a hand motion, and she propelled forward with her vibrosword, uncloaking in one motion and striking. "His not dying!" She cried out to Kevak. Shara was thrown across the room aganist a wall and the world fuzzed out.

Shara heard Kevak's voice and she shakily stood up.

"I don't mind our current groups, we all know each other and seem to work well... though, since we're in two groups, Aeran, go with Kevak and Shara." "Sounds good to me," she grinned. "What have we got to work with?"

"Right." Aeran replied, slapping a new magazine into the rifle before looking about the bodies.

He rolled a sith over with no helmet, and noticed that it was another young soldier.

"Looks like these Sith are more like idealistic volunteers than traitorus Republic Forces in the old days." He grabbed the mans pack on his belt and moved in behind Kevak and Shara.

"If I remember correctly the armory should be three floors above our position, Thryyn I'll contact you when we've reached the armory and are ready to blow it to hell."

Kevak began walking down the hall to where the steps were.

"I must say Aeran that was quite an impressive move."

Kevak continued walking up the steps to the fourth floor and moved down the hall again. He looked around until finding the actual armory. Kevak stepped in and looked around at the weapons on the shelves, behind the counter, and on the table.

"It's like a gold mine for a soldier," Kevak said as he picked up a disrupter rifle and placed it on his back. "Take what you want and then lets get ready to blow this thing up."

Shara looked around the armoury. "Is this heaven?" She joked.

Glancing around she found some ammo for her sniper rifle and another power pack for her blaster. She loaded her rifle with some other ammo, and thought back to a time when she ran out of shots during a mission. Erik had mocked her, asking if running out of ammo was aganist the Mandalorian Code. Shara smiled inwardly.

She then grabbed a few thermal detonators. "I'm good Kevak." She said looking at him, then glancing to Aeran. He was smart, but he was also a former Sith. She made a mental note to keep an eye on him.

Thryyn nodded at Kevak before turning around to Jaq and Zarena, who had been oddly silent throughout the whole affair. "Let's go." He said, gesturing to the stairs that the whole battle had been about.

The stairs were deserted, which was odd since one would expect the noise of the battle to attract Sith like flies to honey. But, Thryyn wasn't prepared to look a gift horse in the mouth and he ascended the stairs, always keeping the stolen Sith rifle at hand.

The door to the fifth floor was locked, to take care of it, Thryyn shot the lock and kicked it open, surprised that it actually worked like it would in the holovids. Peaking out into the corridor, Thryyn noticed that there were no Sith Soldiers on guard and gestured for Zarena and Jaq, who he assumed to be behind him, to follow him as he looked for the Communications Room.

At the entrance to the Communications Room, Thryyn had to repeat the process he used on the door leading into the Corridor.

"What's this?" A voice shouted. "I ordered that nobody would bother me!" Thryyn then had the feeling that somebody was looking at him. "Republic Scum!"

"Oh damn." Thryyn muttered.

"Republic Scum!"

Zarena gave a distracted sigh. "Hrm, we probably should have checked if anyone was in here before we busted in on the Sith Commando Webcam Chatroom," she muttered.

Furthermore, we're wearing disguises or neutral costumes at the next base. Unless Thryyn is a really really famous Republic hero whose face is on billboards galaxy-wide, I imagine that will give us better opportunities for bluffing.

She peeked around the door, but withdrew quickly as a blaster bolt zipped towards her. She plucked her blaster from her holster and stood with her back to the door.

"Gentlemen first," she commented, motioning to Thryyn and then to the door.

Gentlemen first,"

Thryyn grinned at Zarena before ducking into the room and firing a few shots from the stolen blaster rifle. "Remind me next time to get some disguises or something, cause this really sucks, having to fight our way into everywhere."

He surveyed the room and groaned in disappointment when he realized that there was nobody in the room but him and a few Sith soldiers who were in positions to defend whoever, or whatever, was in place at the communications console. However, there was nobody there, nor was there a carcass or anything to tell him that whatever was there was dead.

"Great." He said as the Sith regained their wits and began firing at him. "Strange Guy disappears leaving me, no us, with a bunch of Sith. Absolutely. Great." He ground out each word as he fired at some Sith soldiers.

He depressed the trigger for a shot at one of the Sith soldiers, but a solid click was heard in stead. Funny, they have the same sound as my Assault Rifle he thought to himself.

"I suppose you wouldn't let me reload?" He asked the soldier, earning a blaster bolt over the ear as an answer. "Fine, don't be gentlemanly." He rolled and set to reloading his appropriated blaster rifle.

"Some backup would be nice about now!" He called to Zarena and Jaq as he crouched from his roll.

(Hey, Kevak was a former sith as well :p)

Aeran looked around the armoury.

"Well, if this is a test of greed, I fear I may fail" He grinned as he grabbed some more ammo packs, a couple of thermal detnators and some components for his blaster rifle, to upgrade later.

"Ready when you are." Aeran said to Kevak, he wasnt sure what to think of Shara, she seemed quiet towards him, maybe because he was a Sith or maybe because Aeran stayed inside his armoured shell.

"Some backup would be nice about now!"

"Alright, alright!" Zarena called. She swivelled to lean through the doorway and unleashed a few blaster bolts on the Sith to Thryyn's back. Well, he's not gonna be shooting them anytime soon, so I might as well have his fun.

Though her blaster took a few of them out, she was hesitant to move from the doorway. Sure, two targets would help Thryyn, but... I'm not really one to jump in the way of Sith bullets for a Republic Soldier.

"Jaq, be a good boy and help out in there. Your armour can soak up more shots than my jacket."

She fired upon another of the soldiers. Thryyn had better finish reloading soon.

Thryyn heard the body of the Sith to his back fall and assumed that Zarena had came through and killed them.

"Jaq, be a good boy and help out in there. Your armour can soak up more shots than my jacket."

Thryyn almost sighed with disappointment when he heard that, but he kept it to himself, after all she was in it for the money, unlike him... after all, this was his day job.

He rammed the powerpak home and he raised himself to a crouch, swiveling as he raised himself.

Three Sith? He paused before depressing the trigger and hitting two of the Sith in the head, at a point where the armor was known to be structurally weaker... but to no avail, it seemed that the True Sith knew that too. Well, no easy kills today...

Thryyn pumped about twenty shots into the Sith he'd shot at first before the thing finally died. He calmly shifted his aim and held down his trigger until it died too, he moved ot face the other Sith, but he was raising his arms in clear surrender.

"Sorry, buddy." Thryyn said aloud. "But I can't give any quarter today... it's nothing personal, it's just war." He then finished off the powerpak as he shot into the remaining Sith.

Switching out the powerpak for a fresh one he turned to look at the console. "Zarena," he asked. "Do you know your way around these? Or you, Jaq?"

"Zarena, do you know your way around these? Or you, Jaq?"

With all the soldiers gone, Zarena holstered her blaster and stepped through into the comm room. "Now we're talkin'. A few minutes to get used to the interface and I can make it sing for you. Though by sing I mean "perform basic comm tasks"."

She edged past Thryyn and put her fingers down on the console, first making sure that there were no communications still running. There weren't. She turned her head from the console to glance at Thryyn.

"So what'll it be? Phone records, making a call, ordering Sithly Pizza..?"

"So what'll it be? Phone records, making a call, ordering Sithly Pizza..?"

"Phone records, preferably, though I wouldn't say no to Sithly Pizza, you never know when your next meal's gonna be..." Thryyn, confident in the Zeltron's abilities, walked to the edge of the door before looking out and checking if anybody had come after hearing the blaster shots... thankfully nobody was there.

"Phone records, preferably, though I wouldn't say no to Sithly Pizza, you never know when your next meal's gonna be..."

Zarena nodded and turned back to the screen, and set about to searching for the call register. Encrypted. I should've known.

Not realising that Thryyn had gone to check the halls, she began to speak. "Incoming are all encrypted, but I've got the frequencies the outcoming were sent to, which is better than nothing. I don't wanna risk this going in the print log, so I'm going to note them in my datapad and we can hunt through them once we're in less danger of getting shot."

She exited the menu and turned to notice that Thryyn was outside, but as she paced to the door, the comm unit rang.

"Thryyn," she whispered, "it might be the last caller. Put on your best impression of mister "Republic Scum!", I don't think our caller will fall for it if they hear me on the other side, and if we don't answer they might send some not-so-friendly soldiers to find out why."

Kevak grabbed two more thermal detonators and some ammunition for the disrupter rifle before surveying the room. He located some mines and placed them at each corner of the room. He placed the rest near the cornered ones before leaving the armory motioning for Shara and Aeran to do the same. He grabbed the comlink at his side and brought it infront of his mask.

"Thryyn this is Kevak, we're ready to shed some light on the armory, what is your status? Over."

He held the comlink to his ear and waited for a response, his hand twirling the detonator.

Thryyn's eyes widened, and he walked over to the Communications console and pressed the answer button.

A large hologram of a man dressed in dark robes appeared in the holotray set in the console. "Report." It said simply.

"Milord." Thryyn said in what he hoped was a passable imitation of the last user. "I beg to report that we have failed in our mission to destroy the Republic Assault Team I reported earlier." He ad-libed, hoping that everything he said was true, in any case, the hologram didn't respond to the negative or positive.

"They've slowly, but surely, made their way into the Fort and have set themselves up in control, now, only Communications remains outside their control."

Then, as if Fate really had conspired against him, his comlink went off. Dammit! Have to mute it next time!

"Thryyn this is Kevak, we're ready to shed some light on the armory, what is your status? Over."

"What is the meaning of this?" The holo-person demanded.

"Milord! It appears that -uggh!" As he moaned out the last, Thryyn fired his blaster rifle into the floor and fell, hitting the 'off' button.

"Kevak, set your timers for fifteen minutes, one-five, repeat one-five minutes."

Thryyn then grabbed Zarena's wrist and knocked on Jaq's armor to get his attention. "We're leaving." He said as he rushed the party to the stairs and practically fell down them, he was running so fast.

Zarena stood poised to the side while Thryyn did his best to bluff the cloaked figure. Unfortunately, his commlink went off.

"Thryyn this is Kevak, we're ready to shed some light on the armory, what is your status? Over."

She watched with a slight smirk as Thryyn feigned death, before he grabbed her wrist and made for the door.

"We're leaving."

They bolted down the corridor, heading for the stairs.

"You're a fine actor, Thryyn," she commented, grinning. She looked back at the comm room as they fled to the stairs. Dammit, no time to steal uniforms.

"Are we gonna be rejoining the other team? Our little briefing earlier was awfully vague on what to do when we were done."

"Are we gonna be rejoining the other team? Our little briefing earlier was awfully vague on what to do when we were done."

"Right now, we're just getting the hell out of here and getting to the Glider to regroup and form a new plan... Maybe if we're lucky this Sith we're trying to kill will come out to a spot near the Glider and we can just take him out from range, nice and easy like."

Thryyn jumped the last few stairs -removing his grip from Zarena's wrist- and brought out his blaster rifle as he landed. "Still, no Sith... odd." He turned and hurried down the next flight of stairs and the next, each time surprised by the marked lack of Sith.

He eventually ended up where they had fought the Sith Saberist earlier and the door was clearly visible from his vantage point. Outside, Sith soldiers could be seen setting up a perimeter, their backs to the base.

"So, Zarena." He said, hoping the Zeltron would have some helpful insights. "Any advice on getting through a perimeter like this one without detection?"

Thryyn had released her wrist, and they had made their way down the stairs with no resistance. But when they reached the door...

Zarena cursed under her breath in the Zeltron tongue. The Sith outside were setting up a perimeter, their backs to the base.

Thryyn turned to her. "Any advice on getting through a perimeter like this one without detection?"

"I've got a stealth belt. If we're careful, they might not spot us. Either that or we find the others and see if we can get some sorta Force invisibility field, like they did to the Glider on landing."
