"Kevak, set your timers for fifteen minutes, one-five, repeat one-five minutes."

Kevak punched in 15:00 onto the timers of the timed mines and placed the detonator for the other mines under the laser of a trip mine. He moved up the steps and back to the original floor he was on just a few minutes ago. He watched as Thryyn and his party ran by him and stopped suddenly. Kevak looked over and noticed the sith party waiting for them.

"Any advice on getting through a perimeter like this one without detection?"

Kevak could use his cloaking powers but with such a large group he they would have to move fast and would be more noticable. He looked behind him at the dead Sith soldier who wielded the saber and walked up to him. Kevak took the cloak off of the soldier and put it on with the hood up. He tied the cloak to make sure his exosuit didn't stick out anywhere except for the feet. He remembered the voice changer he had from when he was teasing Erik and switiched it matching the cloaked soldier's voice. He walked back to the group and noticed the sith were beginning to set up a perimeter.

"I've got a stealth belt. If we're careful, they might not spot us. Either that or we find the others and see if we can get some sorta Force invisibility field, like they did to the Glider on landing."

"I don't think cloaking will be required this time Zarena. Thryyn, if you come with me as a fake hostage that will be tortured I think we can lower their guard and then take them down quickly."

Shara glanced around at the group. Feeling a tad insignificant she looked at Kevak with his new disguise. "Kevak, what do you want me to do?"

Her adrenaline was slowing down from the battle earlier and she was beginning to feel alot calmer. "I'll be hostage. I don't care, or you can set me up somewhere with my rifle.... Wherever you need me." She nodded, pulling out her holdout blaster.

Thryyn nodded and threw his blaster rifle away, holding his assault rifle to Aeran. "Take care of this, I don't want to explain to the Quartermaster why I need a new weapon."

He turned to Kevak. "You've got your hostage, anything special you want me to yell out?"

"I'll be hostage. I don't care, or you can set me up somewhere with my rifle.... Wherever you need me."

Thryyn pondered this, even though it was meant for Kevak. "Personally, I think your rifle will be more useful in this case since you seem to be either a sniper or a brawler, not a soldier. So, if you could watch us with your rifle as we walk out it would be much appreciated."

(Wow, I have to post here atleast once a day because if not I completly lose track of whats going on :S)

Aeran looked at Shara and Kevak with uncertainty.

"Well.. it might be risky, but Im still wearing this True Sith armour, if Shara becomes the prisoner.... Kevak can lead her in and I will be able to pose as a nameless Guard to make it look more realistic or rather, more convincing." He finished speaking.

Thryyn looked pensive for a moment before nodding. "Yes, that does make sense... if you and Kevak can pass for some True Sith... and Shara takes the role of the prisoner..." He stared off into space, thinking. "But, Shara, how good of a shot with a blaster rifle are you? Not for sniping, but close-in combat."

((Wow, it seems like everybody's disappeared!))

Shara smiled, "When someone's too close for a sniper shot and they're ready to kill you, you need to know how to use a blaster and use it right." She paused, "The answer is yes. I can shoot well enough with a blaster as with any sniper rifle." She nodded to him, "If I know what you're thinking...." She glanced at Thryyn, "I like the idea... Let's do it."

(Yeah, some days I come here and there are about 7 posts added, and sometimes none... what part of the world do you guys come from? Its the United Kingdom for me.)

"Would be very risky, but Im sure up close we could take them, Kevak would by himself take them down easily enough, me and Shara will probably have to dive behind some nearby cover, while at the same time you other guys use your long range weapons to take them down."

"Just make sure *you* know how risky this is going to be, chances are your hands will have to be put behind your back, so its going to be risk--... ahh who am I kidding." He said to Shara.

He then took a barrel from his belt and screwed it into the blaster rifle, as well as fixing some of the modifications from earlier that he looted in the armoury.

"Now if my battle of Dxun memory serves me correctly... this should increase the rate of fire, as well as turning this thing from a hand into a fist." He sat down on a nearby container, waiting for everyone to get ready to move.

Thryyn whistled in appreciation. "You actually found one of those? I haven't seen one since the Marines switched over to projectiles a few weeks after Dxun." He reloaded the blaster rifle he'd been using and checked out the sights. Eh, good for about a hundred meters...

He then walked over to the door, noticing that the soldiers had all stopped and some were starting to turnaround, he ducked back in. "If we're going to do it, we've gotta do it now."

((The US for me...and it isn't just you, the same thing happens to me a lot))

Zarena nodded. She moved to lean back against the wall, folding her arms and watching the preperations of the rest of the squad. So we're doing a fake hostage thing, with Shara as the hostage.

"What do I do?" she inquired. "If you don't need another actress I could tail you in stealth. You never know when you'll need another blaster."

((United Kingdom here as well.))

Thryyn nodded. "Another blaster is never a bad thing." He paused. "yeah, that's a good idea, you tail them in stealth, I'll look at 'em with my sniper and see if you need long range support, Jaq here... well, we could use him as a human shield." Thryyn looked at the Mandalorian, thinking of what he could do with his hands. "Nevermind that, Jaq... maybe he could help Zarena in stealth?"

Aeran shifted his weight slightly on the crate to a more comfortable position.

"Whatever works, the more the merrier, using stealth to slowly move up behind us would work, because the Sith would be focused on us and the 'prisoner', not whats going on behind, the second we open fire you lot uncloak and give em the business."

"If we're going to do it, we've gotta do it now."

"He's right," Shara nodded briskly, "Enough talk- let's do this." She glanced around, aware that her hands would be tied, and she was very vulnerable to attack if their heist was detected. "My one piece of advice?" She grinned, then added darkly, with a slight bit of humour, "Don't die."

"My "captors" can give me the signal, then one of you throws me a gun- or I can hold my own. Whatever works." She nodded.

Kevak listened as the group began preparing for this little play they were putting on. Each member would contribute one way or another. Kevak and Aeran would play the sith, Shara the prisoner, Zarena the special effects, and Jaq and Thryyn would be stage crew. Now all the had to do was set up the stage.

"I'm quite a fan of this plan but I would suggest moving away from this base unless you'd like to be caught in the explosion."

Kevak moved behind Shara and cut a small portion of the cloak from behind.

"We just need to make you being tied down convincing Shara. Not only will this cloth work but it should be easy to break from too. If we can get these sith to go to the armory they'll meet or little surprise and we won't have to waste the amno fighting them."

Thryyn cracked a grin. "I like the way you think, Kevak... where were you in the war? I could've used somebody like to in order to help out against the Mandalorians!" He hurriedly looked at Jaq. "No offense intended, of course.

"So, when are we going to do this?" Thryyn looked over at his wrist chrono. "We have only about eight minutes left."

((Just doing my best to hurry up the story...))

Aeran looked at Thyrrn.

"He probably was in the war, he mentored the apprentice that I killed during the Sith days... long story."

"Right lets get this show on the road." Aeran said, quickly snapping into a formal stance and shoving Shara forward towards the Sith down the corridor.

"Sorry if this hurts Shara, Kevak.. lets go, the rest of you, get ready with stealth field generators and sniper rifles."

They got closer, and began to notice the Sith turn and face them....

"A'ight," Zarena muttered, spinning her blaster into her right hand. With her left hand she reached for her belt, the stealth unit fizzling into life and turning her invisible.

Her comrades couldn't see her now - no-one could, so she chose to file behind them until they arrived outside. Just incase there are any stray bullets flung before we start our civil little hostage scenario.

Thryyn looked around and cursed violently. "Figures." He muttered once he realized that there wasn't a Stealth Field Generator for him to use. "That's what I get for not being a huge crawl-in-dark-alleyways guy."

He sighed. Best do this the old fashioned way.

He got down on the ground near the exit of the door and compared the color of his armor to the grass on the ground. Close enough.

He started crawling on the ground, trying to keep pace with the rest of the group and hide his weaponry at the same time.

"Don't worry, I'm a big girl. I can take it." She grinned, and the group began to walk down the corridor.

Noting the figures drawing closer, Shara began to take on her role, pretending to struggle as if she really was a prisoner. She wasn't going to overdo it, but if the situation called for it she was ready to curse wildly at her "captors". She grinned on the inside, "This will be fun." She thought, trying to make the dangerous situation into a game- it was her way of coping with things.

Aeran walked every closer to the enemy with Shara at his front, they began to walk closer now.

"Look what I found boys, one of those Republic scum got caught in the armoury."

"Ah... bring her here, we'll get hopefully rewarded for bringing one to the master." Another Sith replied, he put down his rifle to move forward and grab her.

Aeran got ready... but he wasnt going to be the first one to make the move, he didnt want to endanger Shara.

Shara felt her heart pounding, she began reciting hyperspace coordinates in her head to block anyone who wanted to come into her mind.

The Sith with the rifle frightened her, she didn't want their plan to backfire and have him shoot her on the spot or something.

"Ah... bring her here, we'll get hopefully rewarded for bringing one to the master."

He put down his rifle and moved toward her, "Pretty thing too... Too bad." He touched her face for a second, and Shara lashed out "Chakaaryc," She growled at the Sith. Him touching her face hadn't been part of the plan, it ticked her off greatly.

She continued to recite hyperspace coordinates, but in another deeper place in her mind she wondered, "Who is going to make the first move? Should I do it? Will Kevak do it...? Maybe Aeran would..." That was the hole in their plan, they hadn't discussed really what they would do when they got to this point- I guess none of them had expected to get this far.

((For those of you who don't speak or feel like looking up Mandalorian, I'll translate whenever its used: Chakaaryc means rotten: lowlife.

Basically... I guess there are *other* meanings for the word too. ;) ))

From his vantage point, Thryyn saw Aeran talk to one of the Sith and they arrived at some sort of understanding, since the Sith went to touch Shara's face and she slapped him. His heart almost stopped right then, he thought he knew what was going to happen, but, instead, the Sith simply nursed his hand and weathered the embarrassment of his comrades laughter.

He swore under his breath. That wasn't how soldiers acted, that pile of Bantha fodder was not a soldier, regardless of uniform. Unconsiously, he was grappling in his pocket for a frag grenade and he threw it softly, whistling to himself in his mind as it landed by two Sith patrolling the East side of the base.

Five, four, three, two, one... Thryyn thought to himself, and was rewarded with an explosion that drew a few Sith away from the immediate area and more to the East side, one almost stepping right on him!

Next time, I am buying and learning how to use, a Stealth Belt

((Remember, we're on the South side of the base, so it's currently like this:

Kevak stayed behind Shara and next to Aeran as they walked up to the sith soldiers. Kevak looked at all the soldiers and eyed up the captain. He had red armor on but with a black secondary. His carried a long barreled blaster rifle and a blaster pistol on the side. Kevak did not like this man already, just by looking at him.

"Ah... bring her here, we'll get hopefully rewarded for bringing one to the master."

The captain slid over to Shara and looked her up and down.

"Pretty thing too... Too bad."

The captain ran a hand across her face only to be met with a harsh Mando'a word.

"Fiesty too," the captain added reaching his hand out again.

As if on an instinct Kevak reached his arm out and grabbed the captain's wrist squeezing hard. Realizing what he had done on instinct Kevak lied.

"Now now Captain you wouldn't be trying to get what's rightfully mine, after all commander's outrank captains."

"Of course not sir," the captain remarked as moved his arm away from Shara.

"Good, If you wish to find one of your own there's more trapped in the armory. I was just called in about a distress call and those Republic slime locked themselves in. I want your men down there now and you Captain, you will personally escort me to the sith lord himself."

The captain motioned for all his troops minus Aeran of course into the sith base to go find these republic troops. What the poor captain didn't realize was there were no troops, and now he was severly outnumbered.

Aeran stayed quiet, noticing Shara struggling to control herself from the Sith, nevertheless he kept his hands firmly holding her wrists to keep up appearences.

I want your men down there now and you Captain, you will personally escort me to the sith lord himself." Kevak said as the Sith quickly filed away.

Aeran then looked at Kevak at it was just them and the Sith Captain, he wasnt sure whether to blast him on the spot or follow him to the Sith lord.. Aeran guessing the latter option would work.

His idea became true when the Captain walked on ahead of the group, far enough so Aeran could whisper to Kevak and Shara.

"What do we do now? Scrap this guy or just follow him and claim the big prize?" He muttered, still keeping ahold of Shara, he didnt feel comfortable but if the Captain got wind... for all they knew turrets could pop out of the walls and kill them.

"Fiesty too." Shara scowled, and it took everything in her power not to strangle him on the spot. As the Sith's hand reached out for her again, Kevak's hand shot out and grabbed the captain's wrist. Shara held her breath, the guise might be over already.

"Now now Captain you wouldn't be trying to get what's rightfully mine, after all commander's outrank captains."

Kevak smoothly navigated out of a potentially bad situation, yet again he had saved her, but in a different way this time. She silently thanked him, and made a mental note to buy him a drink later.

"What do we do now? Scrap this guy or just follow him and claim the big prize?"

Shara hissed back, under her breath. "I say we kill the di'kut now... But I'd much rather wait. If we make it out of here alive, I'm buying the next round." She winked impishly, taking care making sure no one but Aeran and Kevak noticed, and then began acting her part again.

In the case anyone had watched their little exchange of words, Shara spoke up a bit louder. "Let me go... Take the cuffs off- then we'll see who's boss." She scowled at Aeran and Kevak and put on a small fake struggle.

((@ the above post: Shara didn't slap the Sith- only gave him a small verbal slap- the game would've been over on the spot. ;)

Di'kut: Idiot, jerk- potentially very offensive))

Thryyn noticed the Sith move away from their positions and into the base, apparently a frag grenade wasn't as interesting as Republican agents breaking into the armory, not that Thryyn disagreed. After all but the main officer had made their way into the base, Thryyn stood up and walked up behind the officer's back.

Mouthing: "Get the hell outta here!" to Aeran, Kevak and Shara, he slapped one of his hands over the officer's mouth and the other across his neck.

Without looking at the group, he walked the officer over to a tree and forced him to sit down, facing it.

"So, Captain." Thryyn said. "What's this I hear about Republic Agents infiltrating your base while on your watch?" He hoped that his 'High Sith Commissar' voice worked, and, from the view he had of the back of the man's neck, it did. "Not only is your security lax, but you allowed me to take you hostage. What is this? A circus or a Military Base?"

((Hmmm..... since Niftyeye created him, he gets to determine his reactions, that or Cyborg, either one of you.))
