DrPhil2501
Jaq couldn't help but feel partially insulted at what Thryyn had to remark about the mandalorians. Sure, Jaq had severed that line between him and his heritage. But most of the Mandalorians he knew were good people. Jaq yawned. "I tire of this pointless debate." He stood up from leaning against the wall. "We're wasting time and more lives just by standing here in idleless chit-chat. Personally, I think we should complete "our" mission here first. Then worry about everybody else's problems." He left the security/lounge area. "As soon as you're done bitching, let me know. I'll be in the garage, fixing my armor." Niftyeye
Aeran gave an approving nod to Thyrrn who had just delivered the smackdown that won them the arguement. "We all have regrets in the past, we all fought amongst eachother, Sith, Republic, Mandalorians, but what matters now is that all 3 of these great factions have merged to fight our common enemy.... now.... Ill also be sorting out my armour and weapons." He didnt regret copying the same excuse as Jaq, but he did head off hastily to check he had everything ready to go. Rachel_Ewok
Shara glared at Thryyn, "My father did die in those wars you insensi-" Erik who had been calmly standing behind Shara the whole time grabbed her shoulder and pulled her ear close to his lips whispering to her. "When did you suddenly care about everyone on Nar'Shadaa? Any one of them there would sell us out for five credits. Remember what we're here for? The pay day at the end, and if we rid the galaxy of the Sith along the way to a pay day then good. Double payoff. I know you're touchy when it comes to the Wars just about everyone in the galaxy is. Just quit picking fights like that, we'll get home soon and we'll all be alot richer okay?" Shara's lips twitched, burning to just get one last spiteful word in edgewise. But Thryyn's speech, nearly as long as her own had made sense, the Wars angered her... They angered everyone: not just Mandalorians. She took a deep breath. "Let's just do what we need to do to take out the true Sith. Don't let my opinions stop us."
Cyborg Ninja
Kevak had been relatively quiet in the debate between the group. His quietness was due to some thinking on everything that had happened and what would happen next. The argument at this point had switched from what to do next to the Mandalorian Wars. "Alright, that's enough about the Mandalorian Wars. The next person to even make a remark about it won't be waking up tomorrow. We do have this mission to focus on, and I thank you Sergeant Thryyn for getting me back on track. However there can't possibly be anything on this planet. It wouldn't have been this easy if it were so. Something tells me both planets are decoys and the True Sith are planning something else."
Nymf...
Memories of the battles during the Mandalorian wars ran through Bail's mind. Scream, death, slaughter of countless people. But that war took place a long time ago. It was all in the past, and noone could change that. "As soon as you're done bitching, let me know. I'll be in the garage, fixing my armor." Bail watched as Jaq left the room, and later decided to follow. "I guess I was wrong back at the cantina on Courscant." Bail took a seat. "I actually thought this conflict would first turn up to be between the repbulic and the sith onboard. Not against your people. But I still believe that I'm right on the fact that this mission is going to end up with us killing each other. We already lost one, just a matter of time before the next one goes down." DrPhil2501
Jaq approached the workbench and placed his armor atop of it. Then he saw Bail and Aeran follow him into the garage. "But I still believe that I'm right on the fact that this mission is going to end up with us killing each other. We already lost one, just a matter of time before the next one goes down." "We wouldn't have made it this far if it without everyone's commitment to team work. Mandalorians hold no grudge against the Republic, despite our differences. We were honored to battle against Revan." Jaq dismantled his armor piece-by-piece, focusing on repairing the breast plate. "If it weren't for Revan, we wouldn't be united like this and fighting together as one." Jaq couldn't help but slightly laugh at himself inside his head. He was acting like a Mandalorian again. Niftyeye
"I dont think anyone really holds a grudge, apart from Officers and Generals who were giving the orders personally. During the war the average Sith soldier didnt hate the average Republic Soldier, we viewed them as soldiers, and we knew full well that it was US who betrayed the rest of the Army in the first place." Aeran finished his story just when he heard Kevak mention the two decoys. "Wait a minute... what if you're right?"
Rachel_Ewok
"We wouldn't have made it this far if it without everyone's commitment to team work. Mandalorians hold no grudge against the Republic, despite our differences. We were honored to battle against Revan." Shara smiled at this it reminded her of something her father had told her, before the Wars had taken his life. "The jedi are honorable opponents, just as the Republic is: we wouldn't waste our time if we didn't find them worthy of a fight." Being a Mandalorian wasn't just about honor though, it was sticking with whoever your clan was. And right now, Shara's brother's appeared to include all those here, even Thryyn. "Something tells me both planets are decoys and the True Sith are planning something else." Shara was shaken from her thoughts, "Then how do you propse we figure out what that plan is?" She gave a half smile. "I hope it includes something... *fun*" She announciated the last word with a hint of sarcasm and Ardana chuckled, knowing what she meant. Ardana was glad to have Shara back to acting normal. Sometimes she went off on tangents; Miss Shara was indeed Mandalorian but she was more of a mercenary. She acted Mandalorian all the time honor and all that bantha fodder, but when that side shone through Ardana could only wait for it to be over. IT was only sometimes she really spoke about the Code and Ardana always knew it would lead Shara into trouble: she was much too outspoken.
Cyborg Ninja
"Then how do you propse we figure out what that plan is?" Kevak looked over at Shara and nodded. "Alright I'll throw this question out for grabs. You are now all sith lords. You have just found out a local group of ten or so are planning on stopping you. You have found out where they are going to look force via a spy in the group ultimately leading them into a trap. Now that they are out of the way you "attack" Nar Shadaa hopefully getting as many troops over there as possible to help out. With all this confusion going around, what would your next move be?" ForeverNight
Now that they are out of the way you "attack" Nar Shadaa hopefully getting as many troops over there as possible to help out. With all this confusion going around, what would your next move be?" Thryyn looked at the glowing map of Hifta before responding. "I'd look for the sector with the least amount of ships in it, then I'd bring in my navy and pound the planets there and get out before the cavalry appears. As for me? Assuming that I started out on the planet that the group of ten landed on, I'd get outta there pretty damn quick, and then head to my most defended system... assuming that my masters let me retreat. If my masters don't let me retreat, I'd open a new front in this war and do the most audacious action I could to try and get the Grand Alliance off-balance. Then, I'd try and destroy enough planet's surfaces -like Telos- to make the Grand Alliance rather... weary about engaging me." Thryyn paused again and closed his eyes, trying to think through the actions and look for any holes. "Well, I'm only a sergeant so try getting an Officer to answer this question, it's a bit above my pay-grade."
LordRevan123
Staying out of the argument, William couldn't help but think back unto the birth place of the Sith, Korriban, his home. Many would regard Korriban as a dark desolate wasteland, and they would be correct. But William believed that each and every planet had a certain beauty to it. The endless rolling sand dunes of Tattoine, the sparkling surface of Manaan, and Korriban's endless rush of adrenline. Seperating himself from the group, William pressed a sequence of keys into the computer in the main hold. After waiting for five minutes, the holographic image of Carth Onasi appeared. "I'm surprised to hear from the crew of the Blade Glidder so soon! So how is your search for Darth Auroris?" "Progressing," William answered cryptically. "But we've decided that any new information you have uncovered would beneficial in our search." "Well... the four True Sith Lords aren't one to flaunt their power and make themselves an open target. Therefore, we have no REAL information that would help you and your crew. However, the Jedi Exile was able to learn that Darth Auroris is planning something big." "Hmm...," contemplated William. "Each True Sith Lord acts independently of each other, yet when push comes to shove are indeed united. These Sith are different from their predecessors the Sith Triumvrite." "My scanners show that you are contacting me from Nar Shaddaa," said Carth. "That's where the Exile was only a couple of days ago! He's joined Revan on the frontlines now, due to the fact that there were increasing suspicions of his true identity on Nar Shaddaa. But we have two trusted friends down there who are trying to continue of his work." "And these would be..." "A twi'lek named Mission Vao, and a wookiee called Zalbaar," Carth replied. "Mission is the best computer and security slicer you would ever have a chance of finding, and Zalbaar's more than enough to protect her. If you were to help them with their information collecting, than you would be a step closer to finding Darth Auroris." Turning to the crew, William asked, "What do you guys think?" Cyborg Ninja
"What do you guys think?" "Oh great a wookie, that's just fantastic." Kevak shot out. Unfortunately for him he had to enslave a group of wookies and kill any that weren't fit enough. Kevak wasn't very popular with the wookies. "But if it will help us in finding where these sith lords are, than I'm in. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Taven who had been incredibly quiet looked up and started laughing. "Wait, so we've been arguing about whether to go to Nar Shaddaa or not and now we got a mission to go there. Hell I'm in too."
Niftyeye
"Heh, wookiees, they always complain about being enslaved but dont actually try and form an organised militia or army. As for what to do next if I was a Sith Lord..... first off, why the hell would of be scared of a group of 10, and yet not be scared of a planet called Nar Shaddar which is absolutly Ram-packed with Republic, Sith, and of course militia soldiers? All of which probably number into the thousands." He sighed "But whatever works, lets just get moving."
Nymf...
"If it weren't for Revan, we wouldn't be united like this and fighting together as one." "And if it wasn't for Revan, we'd be having this conversation in Mandalorian." Bail smiled "Maybe it's true that the enemy of the enemy is my friend. But I've been betrayed to many times in my days, Revan and our fellow knights during the Mandalorian wars, the other Jedis after, and then Jojo. I don't know, maybe I'm just getting paranoid." ForeverNight
But I've been betrayed to many times in my days, Revan and our fellow knights during the Mandalorian wars, the other Jedis after, and then Jojo. I don't know, maybe I'm just getting paranoid." Thryyn walked into the Armory and started perusing the racks of blaster rifles available. "Don't call yourself paranoid, Bail." He said. "Just think of it as living and learning." He walked around to the next rack of blaster-rifles, picking up a nice light-repeater that was weighted correctly. Working the action slightly, he was rewarded by smooth motion. Placing it on his shoulder, he walked over to the sniper's rack and started looking though those. "Anyway, if you weren't paranoid, Jojo likely would still be here. That's not what I'd call a good thing, Bail. So, I for one am glad that you're 'paranoid'." ((I have no idea... I thought we were still on Hifta...))
LordRevan123
(My bad guys, I don't know why I put Nar Shaddaa. We're on Hifta. I think I must've gotton confused somewhere along the way. Sorry again!! ) "Well," said Carth. "If you guys decide to go to Nar Shaddaa anytime soon, check it out," as the holographic image faded out. "Time to choose. Do you want to go to Nar Shaddaa or not," asked William. Niftyeye
"I dont care, I just dont want to be sitting here while the galaxy carries on moving around us." Aeran also headed into the armoury to see what there was, he quickly picked up a standard blaster rifle with a very powerful scope and powerpack, probably capable of taking an enemy's head off at a KM away. Rachel_Ewok
Shara listented attentively to Thryyn's idea nodding. "Well, I agree with Thryyn. It makes sense, and it seems to be the only real idea we have yet." She turned to William "As for a wookie, yeah- a wookie could certainly help out. I've heard of Mission Vao. She's a good slicer, she would be a nice addition with Ardana and me." Shara nodded. "She's the best, I say we meet up with them. Anything else Onasi wanted?" LordRevan123
"Nope," replied William. "Well, I guess we're going to Nar Shaddaa." Walking into the cockpit, William said, "Let's get the Blade Glider fired up." Setting a course for Nar Shaddaa on the navicomputer, William checked all the systems and then proceeded to bring in the landing gear and ease the ship off of Hifta's surface. Once they were out of Hifta's atmosphere, William engaged hyperspace. "We should be there in 13 standard hours."
ForeverNight
Thryyn rocked with the ship as the Hyperdrive whined and engaged. Looking at the blaster-rifle he'd acquired, he walked out of the Armory and into the Cockpit, where Graff was sitting in the pilot's seat. "Better not let Bail see you there." Thryyn joked lightly. "He seems rather attached to that chair." ((I didn't even know that our Hyperdrive was in working condition!))
Niftyeye
The ship suddenly rocked just as Aeran walked into the cockpit, hearing William explain the length of the journey. "13 Hours... hmmm... what can I do in 13 goddamn long boring hours." He went into the mainhold, and started playing Pazaak idly by himself. Cyborg Ninja
"Great I get to see another wookie, just wonderful. Kevak said as he sat up. Well if we've got 13 hours, than I've got some training to do." Kevak left the room and moved to the storage room where he began throwing a series of punches and kicks. Unarmed combat meant the difference between life and death, and if this wookie knew about him he would need to be ready.
Rachel_Ewok
"Thirteen hours?" Ardana's face twisted in annoyance, and a child-like pout. "Go get some sleep." Shara turned to the twi'lek. "I don't know when else you'll have time. You need sleep." She yawned, "You too then." Erik raised an eyebrow to Shara. "No. No. I can't sleep in hyperspace." Shara shrugged, she wandered into the main hold. She silently walked up to Aeran and stood over him, he was playing pazzack by himself. "Pazzack huh? Mind if I join?" She gave a small smile, she was tired, but there was no sleep to be had on this ship... Pazzack was a way to pass time.
DrPhil2501
Jaq needed a break from fixing his armor. Repairing Mandalorian armor wasn't as simple as some may view it. He rubbed his eyes and stood up from the workbench. 13 hours to kill before reaching Nar Shaddaa. Things were getting too complicated on Hifta, and Jaq needed a change of scenery. He found Kevak in the storage room, whom was throwing a few punches in the air. He whistled. "Hey you. Yeah, you! I need to stretch and pass the time... mind if I join?"
