Quanon Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Ahoy, there ! Got a piece of art, a sketch, a droodle or anything inbetween come "dump" it here. It matters not if it's superb classy like the Mona Lisa or a Windows Paint picture. This thread is mend/ meant (urgh spelling )to be casual talk about drawing, painting in both traditional and digital ways to create fun euh... pictures. So everyone is invited to "dump" along I"ll start off with some stuff I made the last past weeks. Rabish Bini Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Nice, I love the first and third ones, I'll post some next time I'm on my comp, (i'm currently on my bros laptop ) Good work, you're a talented drawer, I'm more of a digital person myself.
The_Catto Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 The second picture reminds me of the fella from The Goonies. might just be his bald head and teeth though, haha. I like the first Rodian. Very nicely drawn in angles of perspective and symmetry. I might see if I can grounge up some of my old drawings and post them. Just have to find em first xP
Miltiades Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 The last one looks like Odan-Urr. Very nice drawings, there, Q.
Quanon Posted August 28, 2008 Author Posted August 28, 2008 Thanks for the replys Not much this last week, just some coloring on this euh semi comic thing. Its a sort of test run, so I'd like to know if its good enough to continue and produce these small frames. Its just these 2 for now, others are in production. Anyway, comment away. Miltiades Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Nicely done. I like the coloring in the second picture very much. I'd like to know how it continues, so yeah, it's certainly good enough.
Quanon Posted September 2, 2008 Author Posted September 2, 2008 Well I finally got another one finished.
Quanon Posted October 1, 2008 Author Posted October 1, 2008 No new comic frames yet, working on it though. That is because I got sidetracked by this feller, remember him from post 1 ? He's getting some color love ! WIP shot, enjoy !
Rabish Bini Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 Nice, I like the shade of purple you gave to the monster

Rev7 Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 ^ Yes. I like your comics so far as well. Lookin' good
Quanon Posted February 26, 2009 Author Posted February 26, 2009 Been awhile since I updated this thread... 3D has taking his toll again on my drawing/painting stuff. But I do got a WIP shot of this Sith guy/creature Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Hope to finish him later on. The comic somehow got lost and trying to do it a new, I discovered I'm not good enough at building up a decent background. I want to have a certain quality, even if its amateur fanboy stuff.
Marius Fett Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 That looks great Q! Not fair... Some people get all the artistic talent..
Quanon Posted February 26, 2009 Author Posted February 26, 2009 Not fair... Some people get all the artistic talent.. Well don't ask me to do Math or other logical stuff... Nor ask me to go and speak French... Its supposed to be my "second" langue, but I fail at it.
LordOfTheFish Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 That's awesome! That looks great Q! Not fair... Some people get all the artistic talent.. QFT.
Quanon Posted March 2, 2009 Author Posted March 2, 2009 Finished the Sith guy. Pretty content with this one. Onwards to another project Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show)
LordOfTheFish Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Oh yes, much better. (Even though the half colored version was nice to )
Emalin Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Wow. Very nice work here, Q! I especially like the latest one. You did a great coloring job. Looking forward to more!
Quanon Posted April 9, 2009 Author Posted April 9, 2009 Wow. Very nice work here, Q! I especially like the latest one. You did a great coloring job. Looking forward to more! Thanks for all the nice comments Haven't updated this thread in a while, I do have some artsy things to show. It was part for task I did in school. Had to design a new flavour for Lipton Tea. It had to be wild and weird. So I went the classic horror way. So I made 3 flavours: Ghost, Zombie and Vampire. I'll just show what I had in mind to be on the boxes. Colors seem to be a bit off, though must due to my profiles, had give certain profiles to get them ready for the press and such. And it was all made on a Mac, not a windows PC... hmm. Anyway, comment away !
