Det. Bart Lasiter Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Essentially yes, I'm saying I think they allow CNN in Cuba because the Cuban Government doesn't consider CNN to be a threat, remember Cuba is a communist dictatorship, it is not a Democracy.itt we are from the 1950s
GarfieldJL Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 itt we are from the 1950s No, I've actually followed world events. Cuba is a totalitarian communist state controlled by General Raul Castro and a cadre of party loyalists. Raul Castro replaced his brother Fidel Castro as chief of state, president of Cuba, and commander-in-chief of the armed forces on February 24, 2008. http://www.traveldocs.com/cu/govern.htm As I said CNN's credibility is seriously hurt because they are allowed to be watched in Cuba.
Astor Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 As I said CNN's credibility is seriously hurt because they are allowed to be watched in Cuba. Fox is broadcast to Russia, does that hurt it's credibility?
GarfieldJL Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Fox is broadcast to Russia, does that hurt it's credibility? So is CNN at the moment, and Russia hasn't slipped entirely back into a Dictatorship yet, I do believe Fox News is going to be banned by Russia soon enough.
Det. Bart Lasiter Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 No, I've actually followed world events.I was pointing out how reminiscent of a Red Scare mindset your post was.
