Hoad Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 These were released by one of Free Radical's artists, Richard Smith, after Free Radical closed for business. He hosted them on his site but they were removed; luckily someone uploaded them to this site before they got taken down.
GeneralPloKoon Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 No, oh no you mean! This was done by Free Radical now it may not be as good as BFIII has been freed form Free Radical and the developer will most likely have a deifferent approach.
Rev7 Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Looks very interesting, very cool. Thanks for showing!
M@RS Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 I love it! The models look very good and I like how the graphics are coming out... The Palpatine model looks very accurate, and the Han Solo model looks good, but the face could be better... I like it, hopefully this is finished...
LordOfTheFish Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 I'm going to stick with LOTR Conquest for now. But I'll keep my sights on this.
M@RS Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 I'm going to stick with LOTR Conquest for now. But I'll keep my sights on this. Agreed, at least I know that LOTR Conquest is going to come out... Question, in the trailer it says that it was going to come out in the fall, and it didn't... Do you know why? I figured they just delayed the release date...
Bokken Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 The point is that it was indeed SWBF3 that was in production. Regardless of the new company's approach, it's 100% confirmed. I hope.
TripHammer Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 With the Free Radical company breaking up... I think you can expect any date for SWBF3 (if one exists) to be pushed back. The founder of the company Free Radical went and formed his own software company and took 20 Free radical employees with him... http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/admin-confirms-free-radical-demise http://blog.gamer20.com/2008/12/free-radical-founder-steve-ellis-opens-new-studio/ These models aren't bad.. I caught them on a German site... It's a tough call on hoax or leak. http://www.swbf3.de/include.php?path=comment/comment.php&comcat=cont&subid=101
LordOfTheFish Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 No clue on the delay, M@RS. It's coming out soon though, that's good enough for me. Question, Is it just me, or do the characters look a little short and stubby?
GeneralPloKoon Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Who cares? They are proof BFIII exsists! I would call it good news but I keep frowning at Free Radical's fate.
M@RS Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 No clue on the delay, M@RS. It's coming out soon though, that's good enough for me. It's good enough for me too... Question, Is it just me, or do the characters look a little short and stubby? Yeah they do... But it was the same way in the other two games... They always look a little short and stubby, but the way they put the camera in the game, it's hard to tell, unless you compare them to another LA game like JA or something...
Zwier Zak Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 So what do you think? Lucasarts will drop the game or give it to a nother developer? One way or a nother it's bad news really. If some other companny continues the development it may have a diferent concept for the game than FRD. As a resoult we could get a really bad game or wait for it rof the next 2-3 years. Sorry for my english.

jawathehutt Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Look in my topic about free radical, one of the links has it
M@RS Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Hopefully when the game is ACTUALLY finished, the models won't look any worse... I've seen that happen, where the models look awesome in the screenies, but in-game the models and textures are lowered...
LordOfTheFish Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 ^QFT Example: The Force Unleashed, I was dumb to assume you'd get the same quality graphics for Wii as the original shown for the 360.
