plunger test? if it involves a tube going up your manhole, i feel sorry for you. a pain you'll NEVER forget, and wish you had never experienced.

Got Halo 3 ODST. it is ****ing sweet!!!!!! So far loving the feel to it, the weapons have recoil now, the visor takes a little getting used to, and the map is a little weird. the ai of the enemies is pretty good. it came with 2 discs, the campaign and a multiplayer, apparently multiplayer has all of halo 3's multiplayer maps and stuff on it. haven't checked it. too tired!

tired because i woke up with a sore throat. trying to kill it with old robitussin and pain-killers....hoping i wake up tomorrow ready to go running.

no they put a big q-tip in your pee hole and spin it then yank it out. it is not pleasant

way worse than a prostate exam which I rate at merely uncomfortable.

I'll probably swing by wallyworld and snag halo in a lil bit

Survived the concert last night... barely. Ugh. Glad they're not all like that.

A bit of a headache today. I almost never get headaches...

Working again tonight... and tomorrow night... and most of the other nights this week... and weekend...

well my friend called me at around 9:30am...surprising cause we were arguing yesterday about when to go run, and he wanted to go at noon, so it surprised me being waken up that early. then me and the one friend i always go run with are like 'ok we're going to start here' and he's like 'no this place is better' or whatever...ended up being like 5 miles one direction, ran/walked it, it was nice, almost all up hill though. couldn't really time myself since i didn't know the distances, etc. it was fun.

Another concert last night. Would have been easy... if I had any crew that had been around longer than a semester.

All new, green crew. Pretty much had to do everything myself and explain to 6 people why we do it that way.

Everything I didn't do myself I had to go back and fix.

Setup took forever. It was so simple that it should have been about 20 minutes...

It took closer to an hour and a half.

Oy vey...

Didn't get much sleep last night. I've been awake since about 4:30. Another late night tonight too...

Maybe I'll try to get a walk in before work... though I'm so tired I don't feel much like it right now.

i got the flu i think. it started 2 days ago...though i took nyquil last night and it knocked me out. felt like crap most of today...still feeling like crap, maybe a second dose before i go to bed will kill it...if not, going to the dr's office and getting some real meds, don't have time to rest, as i'm working all week and i have to run every other day so i can get 2 mile time down to where i need it to be!!!

I wouldnt pump my body full of antibiotics unless I knew it was a bacteria infection.

quit eating and drinking all that sugary **** you consume on a daily basis and go running.

eat some chicken or red meat, and maybe some leafy greens.

you seem to get sick ALOT, and I bet its mostly poor diet with what you tell us you eat.

Since I changed my diet last year the only illnesses I have had are hangovers and exhaustion from working too much on too little sleep

I felt lousy all day yesterday too. Probably lack of sleep and a general funk about the state of my life more than a cold or flu though.

Forced myself to tough it out at work since it was a money day, and a fairly easy show to do (Branford Marsalis.)

I slept until almost 11 today though, and feel a little better. Taking the day off, though I had already planned to.

I'm working a long day/ late night (until midnight) tomorrow; and a long day/ EARLY morning (start at 7am) on Saturday. Another long day/ late night Sunday as well...

I have to take it easy today. If I don't rest I'll never make it through intact.

M. wanted help with something today and I had to refuse her this time.

I might go get a haircut later, though.

Hmm... I seriously doubt that. :dozey:

On that:

I haven't seen her in over a week, and I don't see any holes in my schedule for a long while that would allow a long get-together.

AND that's assuming she would have the same time off that I do... which doesn't ever seem to be the case at all.

I'll see if she's free any time next week to meet up... but the way it's looking, it could be weeks or months before we meet up in person again.

So while it never looked all that hopeful, this is probably to be the final nail in the coffin.

And on a related note:

The Myspace hairdresser woman got back in touch with me earlier this week. She wanted to see if I wanted to come over and hang out with her... and her new boyfriend.

Yeah, great... Thanks, but no thanks. :dozey:

Apparently, he's also a guitar player, looking to jam and maybe start a band.

I'm too busy, even if I had any interest. (Which I don't.)

These are probably all things contributing to my general angst and malaise that made me feel so gawdawful ****ty yesterday.

i went running, i hate doctors....i was going to go today but they had no openings, so i have to go at 11 tomorrow if i am not feeling good... so it was around 11:30 and i went running, because if i didn't go today i'd have ended up missing a day and would've just been pissed, i ended up late for work, pissed my boss off, she can go **** herself. my next day off is next wednesday, cause i'm filling in for this 81 year old who is out "sick" on an LOA, yet i saw him on his riding mower today, seriously!!! she should be happy i wanted to cover his shifts that he's out instead of bitching about me being 15 minutes late. (for a job i don't care for anymore, too much bitching over petty **** and trying at your job just gets you in trouble when other people don't do their work and you decide not to pick up their slack)

i sucked at running today, but at least i went out and ran. i need to get more bottled water. i might have to get used to tap water. yuck.

i don't think i've been sick all year. aside from anything alcohol related.

i haven't been out drinking in over a month, don't really have the cash to anymore...it's better off in the gas tank so i can keep up on my running.

sucky, maybe someone used a bat or pipe that they took with them...

I have to agree that for most part, women are incredibly insensitive to the needs and feelings of others. hell, most have no idea what they really need or want anyways, so how in touch with their feelings can they really be

YEA friday. that was 11 days straight, 16 hours overtime. Happy weekend. Got a bottle of wine that my Girlfriend gave me that will be opened and enjoyed in its entirity tonight by myself. I might also go to redbox and get that silly wolverine movie to watch tonight.

Looks like the powers that be at my job blocked internet access from out work computers. Kept getting DNS errors. :( well there goes a way to pass the time.

Today at work was insane. I had to pick 2 orders with 3 stops each that consited of 3 pallets each where i had to move 8-18 cases off one pallet and moved to another. Ended up just moving the Licence plate tickets instead of the cases. i was able to get 2 orders before the other guy was even done with one.

went to the doctors....on the way i got pulled over...some cop was playing bridge troll and taking advantage of a traffic pileup, sitting in the median looking at inspection stickers. he misread mine, and pulled me over.

anyway....got to the doctor, it is a sinus infection, so i got prescribed some amoxycillin (sp?) and told to get some robitussin cf. the prescription only costed $4. at least my insurance card still works....i kinda thought i had worn it out on st patrick's day parade...guess not. :)

ODST is pretty fun. hard to really get into it, as only time i'm able to play is late at night, and then i wanna wake up early the next day to go running.....what i've played so far i'm enjoying.

i'm getting better at situps. need to keep at it this whole next week, planning on taking the apft next saturday.
