SW01 Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 A terrible shame - Rumpole was a great show (though I have not read the novels - yet), one which Sir John ought be remembered for, but it is also the loss of a very able barrister, and of course the man who introduced a little sense of humanity to the cold, hard appearance of the barrister.
