Alkonium
"You just watch me." Komad replied, and then he took another swing at Tyrannus, matching him blow for blow, each of them on their toes, until Komad locked his main-hand lightsaber with Tyrannus' sword, at which point, he used his off-hand lightsaber to cut Tyrannus' sword at the hilt. "Your choice: prison, or exile." He then said, pointing both sabers at Tyrannus' heart.
Chevron 7 locke
"So weapon of choice?" Alriana grinned at him and ignited her lightsaber. "Was there ever any doubt?" She turned to look at the Garja who was now nearly out of sight. Safe journey Admiral. She turned to Tavaryn and smiled at him again. "Rest assured, I'm ready for whatever awaits me. Are you ready to fight?"
Cyborg Ninja
Wrath snarled at the thought of being stuck in the ship when the action was outside but he quickly held his tongue and nodded at Tonatius as a response. He then turned to face Kalla when she started to speak. "I'll watch over Andorra and assist her medically. She's done so much for me so its the least I can do for her." Kurt watched in horror as his gun was taken from him. He was about to reach for his pistol when he saw his own rifle being thrown right back at him. He knew he wouldn't have time to dodge so he went down on his knees to protect them at let his chest take the hit. He was flipped onto his back by the force of the throw and got the wind knocked out of him. When he was able to stand he did so. Kurt looked up and saw Komad still taken on Tyrannus. Rather then take another shot and risk getting hit with his own gun, Kurt decided to go around them. He took cover and waited for the right moment to strike. He watched Komad cut Tyrannus's sword and point his lightsabers at him. Kurt moved from his cover and aimed his rifle at the back of Tyrannus's head. "Choose wisely," Kurt added after Komad's words. Tysyacha
Andorra stirred. Where am I? Ship...aboard a ship. I'm alive. Virul's not there anymore. Disappeared. Is this going to be over soon? I want to go home...
Alkonium
"There's no escape this time, Tyrannus." Komad added, turning to Kurt. "Cuff him, find somewhere to lock him up on the Ebon Hawk." He said, and turned to Tyrannus one last time. "The Senate will decide your fate."
JediMaster12
Tyrannus grinned, "So much to learn Kaltas. Things you've failed to learn." Within a blink of an eye, he was out of range of Komad's lightsabers and right behind Kurt with a lightsaber at his throat. "This is one battle but the war wages forever. You sangtahut think that by destroying me, you will save your family? No. It is part of the curse of being of the chosen ones." Andros, would have moved just as fast but he walked normal. He held his arm to wave Komad to back down. "We are life enemies this is true. Such is the nature of the balance of life. There must always be someone to shoulder the burden." "At least you learned that much old friend." "Years in hiding and fighting." "Indeed. Well, since you understand this lesson, then you may have this whelp back." With a deft push of the Force, Tyrannus sent Kurt hurtling towards the pair of them. For a moment Tyrannus' face looked weary just as Andros' face but it was cut short when he said, "To live another day is the rule of survival. One day we will meet again." In a flash, he was gone. Andros stood looking at where his enemy once stood. He said loud enough for Komad to hear, "Either I or my descendants will see you again. This war is far from over." ********** Tavaryn grinned at Alriana and pulled out his shuriken, his sword on his belt. "Let's go." He then took off charging and throwing his shuriken at the hordesmen who tried to cut them down. He was deft at using his hands and feet as he had been taught by his mother. He shouted at Alriana, "How about a game of who can take down the most?" *********** Jun-la was feeling the fatigue. She knew that the Blood King would be a formidable opponent and she felt the strength in his strikes. She used her best weapon which was the flash step and parried with her skill with the blade. She managed to land a huge cut that ran from the check to the chest. The Blood King was surprised that she managed to get enough will to cut him. It wasn't deep but it hurt bloody hell. Still he was impressed and he voiced it, "So you managed to increase your desire to win. Impressive, but that won't be enough." Jun-la was panting and she felt the stickiness of the blood on her hands. It was her iron grip that kept the sword in her hand. She replied, "I know that even if I were to defeat you, there will be others like you. Evil is never ending." "Waxing philosophical on me now. Well you are right about that but few love battle for battle's sake." What to do. If I use my sentou, I could leave myself vulnerable but if I don't, he'll wear me down. Jun-la narrowed her eyes, making the decision. It would do no good to fire a shot off. he could easily dodge it. She needed to put it into her attacks. Matton was still watching with Reyvan and noticed her posture change. He said, "She made the decision. She's going to use sentou but how I am not sure." ********** Tonatius has stationed himself in the turrets and was firing at enemies that tried to approach the ship. He only hoped that his cousin was doing well. He spotted a signature that didn't indicate a bogy. He called on the comm, "Kalla, picking up a signal. Is it one of ours?" Meanwhile Andors was helping in the med bay and noticed Andorra stirring. He spoke soothing tones, "Don't worry Andorra. You are safe now." Alkonium
"There's nothing else we can do here. Come on." Komad said to Kurt and Andros, leading them back to the Ebon Hawk. "I see it, but we can't be sure until we have a visual." Iyav pointed out, keeping an eye on the cockpit's viewport, until he spotted Komad, Kurt, and Andros, "Ok, I'm letting them in." He added, lowering the ship's loading ramp. As Komad entered, he and Iyav exchanged a quick kiss before he asked, "Who else is still out there?", to which Iyav responded, "Just Matton, Jun-la and Reyvan, and the last we saw of them, they were up against the Blood King. They'll probably need our help."
Chevron 7 locke
"Let's go." Alriana didn't bother to reply as she dove into the mass of enemy solders with her lightsaber ignited. She quickly cut down two solders with her lightsaber and then unleashed a stream of force lightning from her other hand at another one. She then sensed three more enemy solders trying to sneak up on her and she quickly turned around and sliced two open with her lightsaber before they could react while unleashing another stream of force lightning at the third one. She turned to look at Tavaryn and smiled at him even as she reversed her lightsaber and rammed it through the stomach of another solder. "Due to ten years of training alone on Jaltra I was able to learn abilities that most jedi would never dare to learn." "How about a game of who can take down the most?" "Certainly!" She shouted back. "I already have seven of them though."
JediMaster12
Tavaryn had swung his blade and managed to break a few necks with his bare hands. Hearing her response he grinned and replied, "And I have ten already." He teased her with his grin as if egging her on. He himself used the flexibility moves he had been taught and managed to get past defenses in a manner that was eye baffling. At one point, he used his sentou to send an energy beam at a hordesman that sent him flying into another. "Twelve." ********** Andros listened to the conversation and replied, "If we interfere, she will not appreciate it. The victory will not be hers. We should form a line outside the ships and take care of any strays." ********** Jun-la used her maneuvering to get into a position she could control. Letting her sentou course through her, she added an extra charge to her attacks, startling the Blood King. She was cancelling out his power with hers in this strange combination of fighting techniques and sentou. The Blood King wasn't through yet. "You think you can best me? I won't have it. See if you can counter my toga (ten fangs) attack." His blade seemed to morph into one with a serrated edge. He charged. Jun-la used her speed to dodge and deliver attacks of her own. At one point she put sentou behind a kick that sent the Blood King flying up. She then added a spinning kick to send him across the ground, leaving a gouge in the earth. Alkonium
"If we don't, she could die for nothing. Did you think of that?" Kalla asked. "Noone can stand alone here. Needlessly rejecting assistance like she's doing is suicide." "Regardless, it's best we get this ship over to them. Like you said, the Phantasm was destroyed by the Republic ATT's, so we could just maroon the Blood King here." Iyav suggested.
Chevron 7 locke
"Twelve." Alriana grumbled under her breath. The young one was doing better then she expected. He was also slightly faster then she expected. She quickly reversed her lightsaber and stuck it through the belly of yet another enemy solder before sending a stream of force lightning at a group of six enemy solders. "Fourteen!" She shouted at Tavaryn. Alriana force jumped up into the air came down directly in the center of a group of five enemy solders. They didn't even have a chance to react before she was on them with her lightsaber.
JediMaster12
"You are not thinking of the larger implications," Andros replied gently. "Sentou powers can be deadly especially in certain combinations, certainly if one hasn't mastered the form completely." Tonatius had come up from the turrets to stretch his legs and find out what the plan was when he heard the conversation. He caught Andros' eye and tugged gently on Kalla's arm, "I'll explain." ********* Tavaryn laughed and jumped on one of the heavy calvary units that was moving. It was a strange creature that was being driven by a hordesman. He took out the enemy soldiers one by one. To take out the creature, he got behind the shoulders where the driver once sat. He whipped out the blade that hung on his belt and held it ready to plunge. Using all the power he had he drove it in and out. The beast never knew what hit it but tumbled to the ground. Tavaryn just leap and slid off it facing Alriana. He grinned at her as if to say "What do you think about that?"
Alkonium
"I'm listening." Kalla replied, far more likely to listen to Tonatius than Andros. He had a lot more in common with her than Master Starlighter. "There's something else. Tyrannus knew I would have just let him choose exile on this planet and walk away, he didn't need to make a spectacle of it." Komad pointed out. "I've always admired your mercy, Komad, but wow." Iyav commented.
JediMaster12
"It is not a suicide Kalla," Tonatius began. "I don't know Lady Jun-la very well but I know that she possess a power that she has barely begun to master. Remember that training we saw before all this? That was a mere fraction of her ability, of all abilities of all Jedi. It is a matter of taking the first step through the door." ********** "He didn't need to display it but he was compelled to. He was reminding us that things are not always black and white," Andros replied. "He didn't see your choices as mercy Komad but rather as something to prove a point." Alkonium
"I remember, and I hope she know's what she's doing." Kalla replied. "He has another ship hidden nearby, doesn't he?" Komad inquired. "I should have known." "Enough talk. You've been pretty clear that we can't assist Jun-la, but she's going to need an easy way out if the Blood King bests her." Iyav said. "I'm flying this ship over to them." He then made his way over to the pilot's seat, and started the engines, managing to get the ship off the ground. Chevron 7 locke
Alriana smirked at him and then nodded her head as the beast Tavaryn had killed finally hit the floor. "Impressive. Very impressive in fact. But I'm starting to think that it was wrong of us to make a game out of this. Out of killing our enemies. I was always taught that I was supposed to be impartial to battle." She turned around and sliced two enemy solders across their stomachs before turning back to Tavaryn. "Perhaps it would be a good idea to stop making a game out of this." Tysyacha
Andorra looked up, her eyes filled with tears, and smiled weakly. "Andros? Is it really you?" She was utterly drenched in sweat, smelling like a Hutt after his latest meal. "I'm sorry for all I did...as that monster...Virul had me. Still, I did some of the killings myself...as myself. I don't make any sense, do I? Kalla--does she hate me now? Please tell me the truth..."
Cyborg Ninja
Once again what happened to Kurt felt like a dream. One second he lowered his rifle and the next second he had a lightsaber to his throat. Kurt remained both fearless and emotionless as Tyrannus talked. Suddenly he was thrown at the two jedi with great force. He quickly got to his feet in an attempt to go after Tyrannus but it was too late. He followed Komad back to the ship, picking off anyone who attempted to get near them. He remained quiet as the group exchanged words, but something Komad said not only made him speak but chuckle as well. "Yeah, it certainly was quite a show he put on back there," Kurt said but then suddenly realized he had spoken freely without permission. "Apologies for my statement sir." Kurt said saluting. Wrath had made his way to the med bay in order to check up on Andorra. He froze for a few seconds when he saw Andros in there with her but quickly regained his senses. He just stood there waiting to see if she would move or if she would need help. When he heard her speak he took a few steps forward but quickly stopped and backed up. What if she doesn't know me? What if she doesn't want to see me?
Alkonium
It was at that point that Kalla entered the sickbay, hand in hand with Tonatius. "I could never hate you. Remember that I saved you, remember what I did to save you." She said. "I've forgiven you, can you forgive me?"
Tysyacha
Andorra slowly wiped her tears away. "Of course..." She smiled, extending a hand to both of them. "My Kalla...my Tonatius...I'm in your debt. I can't thank you enough for what you did. I know I'll always love both of you--one as a relative, and one as a...friend?" Doubt coursed through her veins. "Indeed. I shall find another, as you have, my dear one." Still, she didn't quite believe it. "Who could love a former Sith?" she mused to herself. Noticing another figure in the medbay, she stood to her full height. "Wrath," she said. "I am weak, and thus your strength helped to redeem me as well. My life is yours. What convinced you to turn from the Dark Side?" Andorra wondered. "You're quite stalwart..." That was a question that would have to wait for an answer, however, as Andorra collapsed with an unconscious thud against the cold steel floor of the medbay. Alkonium
Kalla smiled as she helped get Andorra back into her bed. "We should help her find someone." She said to Tonatius. "We owe her that much." "Hold on, I'm picking up two other friendly signals nearby." Iyav told the group from the cockpit. "Let's see if we can get a visual." Komad replied, taking the copilot seat and operating the external camera controls. "It's Alriana and Tavaryn." He pointed out. "I'm taking the ship down, noone gets left behind." Iyav replied, turning the Hawk in their direction. As the ship touched down in front of them, Iyav opened the loading ramp and stepped out to get their attention. "Get on board!" He called out to them.
Cyborg Ninja
Wrath barely had time to think before Andorra blacked out again. He would have to answer her some other time. He watched Kalla assist Andorra for a few seconds before he looked down at his waist. He grabbed his lightsaber and looked back over to Kalla who was now standing with Tonatius. He tossed the lightsaber at their feet. "So what are you doing to do with me?" Wrath finally asked.
Alkonium
"I don't know. You're not our enemy anymore, and even if you were, there's not much we could do against you. You care about her, and you can certainly hold your own in a fight. She's still the daughter of an important political figure, and I don't know if she'd still be able to defend herself after she's fully recovered. You'd make a good bodyguard." Kalla suggested to Wrath.
Chevron 7 locke
"Get on board!" Alriana took a quick look up from her opponet just in time to see a strange ship land in front of her. She turned back to her opponet just in time to avoid being decapitated by the larger then average enemy solder. She quickly twirled her lightsaber and sliced the man's hand off before mockingly saluting him and then force jumping over him toward the ship's ramp. She landed gracefully on her feet and nodded at the man next to her. "Thank you for the pickup. I was actually begining to get tired."
JediMaster12
Andros replied to Andorra, "Yeah it's me," and stepped back to let Kalla say her piece. Listening to the conversation with Wrath, he added, "I agree since you hovered while I was trying to take care of things. if I didn't know you better I'd have said you were an old woman." *********** Tavaryn replied soberly, "Killing a living being is not an easy thing to live with. The Shinigami deal in death many times over. It is not easy at all. This 'game' helps somewhat." By then he heard the call came and he heard the ship. He followed suit and jumped up. He landed in a crouched position and said, "I would have thought a girl like you didn't get tired.' He then stood up to his full height. He asked Iyav, "My brother's daughter? She all right?" ********** Sparks flew as the blades clashed but Jun-la was not tired. She put her sentou into her strikes and wore down the Blood King though he was raging, "You can't defeat me. Evil is never fully defeated. You know this." "You are just one incantation. And like the others they must be struck down," Jun-la replied. "Even at the cost of balance?" Jun-la paused for a moment and that was all the Blood King needed for he struck hard and managed to knock her with his forearm off her feet and send her blade flying away. He watched as she landed hard on the ground, smiling. "You see. There must always be a balance between the two poles. If one out weighs the other than life will be thrown into chaos." Jun-la squirmed from hitting the ground and looked around for her sword. She thought she saw it but her attention was focused on the Blood King advancing towards her. She tried to move back, closer to where she thought her sword was at and replied, "Yet every incantation gets destroyed one way or another." "But another will come to take its place. In the end you have nothing but to question why fight. If it's not me, then it is someone else." Jun-la said nothing as she continued to move. She saw Matton and warned him away using her mind. She looked and saw her sword lying there. All she had to do was concentrate. She replied, "Yes one will always rise and it exists everywhere. Still you have failed one important lesson." "Oh and what is that?" Up on the hill, Matton had started when he saw her fall but he stilled himself. He said to Reyvan, "I think now would be a good time to get back to the ship."
