Tobias Reiper
What I never understood in KotOR is why they don't appoint you a Master when you become a Padawan, unlike every other Padawan, so what I'm proposing is a Recruitable Master that you get on Dantooine, NOW, some of you may not be intrested because the majority of Recruitable mods are unvoiced, the only exception being Kay, and think this'll probably be the same type of unvoiced character, but I have a Microphone, time, a voice recorder, and the will to supply a voice for the character. What I'm gonna need however is somebody to model this person a face, and another (or possibly the same person) to script him and such into the game. I probably won't give many details as to his apperance yet, as I don't have a Modeller.

Tobias Reiper
Modeller or skinner? cause I can do skinning. Well I didn't mention a Skinner as I didn't really think it necessary, but I do suppose you could skin him a special looking robe, of course I don't really like the Vanilla robes, so I guess I can get Permission from one of the more popular robe authors to let us skin it for the mod. ganoesparan06
Well the explanation for not having a "Master" as such is that sending one with you would immediately scream "Find us here Malak!" to the Dark Lord. And I believe that Master Zhar is your assigned Master. He is the one who trains you after all.

I don't really think it would matter, considering half your party was Jedi anyway, besides, He replaces one of them so... yea. And I don't consider Master Zhar your Master considering after you become an actual Padawan he doesn't train you one bit. Padawans always have Masters during that period, up until they become a Knight.
juansaman
What I never understood in KotOR is why they don't appoint you a Master when you become a Padawan, That's the point. Revan trained after his memory loss with Zhar Lestin. But once he became a padawan, he is by himself, only being Bastila (another padawan, don't forget) at his side. The idea is interesting, but it would be a problem for Revan's independence by chosing the actions he consider to be the best. I don't think a Jedi Master would ignore that his pupil doesn't help somebody in danger or killing at his will. Have you thought how to face that? Is it possible to make the Master teaching Revan a lesson everytime he choses the Dark Side? Even if Revan cares or not.... Btw, good luck with your project!! Carsew
Maybe you could make someone in the party a secret Jedi Master. That was assigned to watch over Revan. Maybe Carth. :/

Yeah, but the creator asked for a mod with a new Jedi Master. And does Jolee count as a Jedi Master, he is a Grey Jedi after all. Just my opinion. Is it possible to make the Master teaching Revan a lesson everytime he choses the Dark Side? Even if Revan cares or not.... Btw, good luck with your project!! Well, here's a quick demonstration of what I have planned Scenario: Old Beggar : "Excuse me sirs, but could such rich looking people like you spare an aging man a few credits?" You : " Be quiet or else I'll make you a pile of chopped meat!" Master : "Padawan! Here, have 27 credits, go buy something to eat, I'm sorry for my Padawan's rudeness." Beggar : "Thank you sir, Thank you!" *Beggar runs to a store* Master : "You shouldn't have done that, such ways are the path to the dark side!" You : "I'm not going to fall to the dark side, Master! Besides, it'll be no problem to stay on the Light Side, can't be that hard." Master : "You would be suprised how easy it is to fall, Padawan, and how badly it can affect the world, for example, turning down that Beggar could have reduced him to such desperateness, he would resort to Robbery, and then when someone tries to resist, murder. A pointless death, all because of you turning him down." Then if you refuse to help, he will, which will end up in you being attacked, and drawn into the fight anyway, which, afterwards, you get another scolding! Then for the free killing fun times, he puts you inside a Force Stasis, attempts to reason, which will usually fail and then they will attack, and then he'll release you and you still get your kill...and a scolding Maybe you could make someone in the party a secret Jedi Master. That was assigned to watch over Revan. Maybe Carth. :/ Seeing as I don't have the voice of any of the party members (Especially not Mission) I don't think that's gonna happen. Unless maybe one of their Voice Actors agreed to do it, which is also unlikely. Why do we want to create a new Jedi Master anyway? There's Jolee. He just doesn't want to teach you or anything but he is Jedi Master. Fun and Realism (Star Wars wise) besides, I don't really count him as a Master either, considering he left the Order. ganoesparan06
Jolee isnt a master tho. Never rose above the rank of Padawan - but you are probably right when you say that he is probably the closest thing you have to one on the Ebon Hawk.
Darth Payne
This mod sounds like a good idea to me. Mostly due to me prefering Jedi party members over non-Jedi party members.
jedi7000nathan
replace t3
Tobias Reiper
replace t3 No. And I have my reasons: I want to make this mod make as much sense as possible, with no stepping over things that are important: Carth, Bastila, Canderous, T3, and HK-47 all return in KotOR 2 and all mention their journey with you in some way, so they are unreplacable. Zaalbar is needed for Kashyyyk and it would take waaaaaaaay to long to re-write the entire planet, and Mission follows him around everywhere, so she also gets to stay. Jolee isn't going to be in your party at the time, so you can't replace him. So who does that leave? Juhani!
VarsityPuppet
YEAH! Replace Juhani! This mod sounds like a good idea to me. I could easily skin for you, but you're looking for a modeler no? I could make those custom Jedi Robes though.
Tobias Reiper
Well, the only thing I need a modeller for is their head but if you could skin an existing head to look so differeint you didn't know, I'd take it.
VarsityPuppet
It could probably be done... It's not going to look completely different, but we can try. Maybe I'm just stupid, but I haven't had any luck getting alternate textures to be applied to heads, so we might as well model a new head anyways. Tobias Reiper
Well, do you know how to model? If not I could probably contact one of the well known modellers and see if they could do it...
