Whither Michael Land?

It seems like the one key player in the Tales Of Monkey Island team that hasn't been interviewed is Michael Land. I'd love to see an interview with him about the game, and what else he's been up to since Escape From Monkey Island. Does anyone know if one is forthcoming, or is anyone trying to arrange it?

I think there should be an interview with him too. His music has been excellent throughout his complete career in adventure games. I mean, his music was really great in the Secret of Monkey Island, and it still is genious in Tales of Monkey Island.

And I really think the iMuse system was a big breakthrough for LucasArts too. Really, not having an interview with him would be a big shame.

Michael Z. Land for the win!

That would be awesome! :) However, I think ToMI hasn't been one his best efforts. Maybe due to budget/time reasons, but I believe his work in this last game didn't shine like it did on CMI (which was outstanding). Don't you agree? All ToMI tunes are more or less average, with none being really 'epic'. I mean, do you recall any tune from the last game? I bet you don't, or at least not like you do with previous installments.

If you're already collecting interview ideas ...

What was his involvement on the CD audio/FMtowns edition of Secret of Monkey Island? And was the purpose of that "Trapped"/"Cue 2" tune??? Did he compose the extra themes like "Stan's"?

CMI's live instruments were a huge advantage.

The TMI music pretty great. I know all of it: I find myself whistling it occasionally. You might need a bit of time to let it grow on you, maybe, or listen to the soundtrack minus the games, or just listen to a properly done MP3. But yeah: The music's just as good in TMI. Hell, just listen to DeCava's two themes.

The only so-so aspect is the underwhelming main theme.
