This is my second project for all of you guys hope you like it and join.

 

Battle Suit Utopia

In the year 2052, War ravaged the World. Europe standing as a single force began a world wide invasion. Alliances were made and others were broken.

 

Japan, unable to have an army of its own after the terms of the Second World War, has joined an alliance formed by American, Canadian and Mexican Forces for the development of heavy mobile units, one manned robots with enough destructive power to take on legions of infantry troops.

 

But Europe did not foresee the rise of the Chinese, Russian and Korean forces. The nuclear winter lasted 30 years in Europe. The surviving British forces joined the new MDN or Mobile Defense Network created by Japan and the three American Continent Titans.

 

Now, the year is 2132. The Chinese seek to establish a new world order under the flag of communism. America, being as weakest as it’s never been, seeks to rally with the members of the MDN more countries to their side, mainly the Arabian countries. Knowing fully well of the history between America and these countries, Japan and Mexico have established negotiations with the Arab officials.

 

The Arabs have conditioned their alliance by stating that they will only join if the MDN liberates Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan from Chinese and Russian occupation, a condition that MDN has decided to take on.

 

The Elite group of the MDN is formed by some of the most extraordinary military agents from around the world. Resistance fighters and national army members are also among the ranks. The special units piloted by the elite are called Battle Suits. Each battle suit and the pilot have a codename. You are one of them.

 

Rules.-

 

You all know these:

-No Godmodding

-No taking huge plot decisions without consulting me first.

-No offensive language except if it is in character.

-No one liner posts, try to detail your characters actions even if he doesn't have much to say, remember that body movements, and emotions can be conveyed through words.

-There will only be one character for person unless I state otherwise. Except, you are allowed to create a nemesis for your character but make sure he or she doesn’t interfere too much with the plot.

- Romantic Arcs are encouraged, I love good romance in an RP.

 

This RP intends to be something around the lines of Gundam and Code Geass, which I’m probably sure most of you have heard about.

Secondary Equipment: Has foldable wings that are useful for flight once in midair. Turbo thrusters for air maneuverability and sustainment. Middle range cannon on left shoulder and small energy shield on left arm for small arms protection. Rapid fire smg on left leg inside hidden compartment.

Biography: As a child, Haruka experienced hunger in her early days. The Japanese government did their best with their resources and tried to keep families safe but the efforts towards weapons research were more and more paramount and the efforts for population sustain were slimmer. As all children, she underwent the tests for synchronization and achieved high marks with Aegis 11, a battle suit of new design and cutting edge technology on human-AI interaction. She was then taken to a government installation to start education and combat training. She can come across as cold and calculating but she is in reality a girl with a strong sense of justice and warm personality (to those who take the time to get to know her). She also suffers from poor blood circulation so she tends to feel cold even in warm environments. She herself is an expert martial artist and marksman. And while she’s often placed as the team leader, she mostly refers to herself as a supporter, rather than a leader.

 

Her father is notorious Naoki Suzuhara, inventor of the first line of battle suits with Brain-to-AI control interface.

Battle Suit Appearance: Vegas (It's color pattern is black and silver.)

Weapon of Choice: Energy sword for close quarters fighting and a heavy repeating rifle for medium distance fighting.

Secondary Equipment: Equiped with twelve small short range single target jericho missiles that are launched from the back and a single long range Jericho single target missile that is also launched from the back. The package is completed by five Jericho multi-target missiles that are launched from the chest. In an emergency, the missiles can be detonated to destroy the Vegas so that it's secrets can't fall into enemy hands. The Vegas has a small energy shield around the head where the pilot resides. In additon, the Vegas is equiped with thrusters on the feet for swift movements among the battlefield, However the thrusters are not recomended for flight as they aren't strong enough to keep the Mech in the air for very long.

 

Biography: Katsu was born in Japan and lost his parents at an early age due to an attack by thugs. He was taken in by the military and at the age of fifteen was sent to join the Mobile Defense Network.

 

After joining the MDN, Katsu scored high marks with the Vegas Mecha suit. Katsu is now an excellent combatant and is a formidable foe on the battlefield. He shows virtually no mercy to his enemies on the battlefield and is often seen working on his Mech in his spare time.

Weapon of Choice: Two custom Energy Swords, and a battle rifle for distance (even though he prefers his swords)

Secondary Equipment: Has boosters for speed increase, thrusters that allow him to jump higher, an energy shield that covers the head, and in emergencies a small emp grenade that launches from the chest.

Biography: Xaiver was always that kid. He was always different, always going against a norm. If you played him in a game of basketball, he would find a way to beat you using only his feet, that was just the way he was. So where most people tried to avoid joining the military, Xaiver volunteered. His superiors picked up on Xaiver's uniqueness and sent him to the Mobile Defense Network. He went through the tests and preformed beautifully with the Nova Suit. Since then he has turned the Nova Suit into a master at melee combat. Xaiver relies on his suit's speed and agility so his firepower isn't very strong and he can't take a lot of damage. While he's a talkative and arrogant kid, he's still a good person. He'll do whatever it takes to protect his friends from harm and he'll comfort anyone who's saddened by something.

Battle Suit Appearance: 'The End Of All Things' (I love the Kämpfer Mobile Suit!)

 

Weapon(s) of Choice: Fission Axe, Mine Chain, Durandal Light Shotgun

 

Secondary Equipment: 70mm Cobra Model Guns; 360mm H.G.F.M. Panzerschreck mounted on right shoulder, must be fired freehanded, has the ability to load and launch M.U. Panzerfaust R.P.G.'s x2 (R.P.G.'s can be fired separately as well, though with less accuracy and range opposed to when fired from the Panzerschreck.) - The Schreck's normal rounds are explosive slugs at a payload of around 7, and can be switched out with special, slimmer, F.M.J. rounds that can allow for longer range combat (not too long mind you), and whose payload is around 10; 180mm Gas Powered Rotary Gun mounted on left shoulder ((The 180mm thing is a pure guesstimate on my part, this weapon had no size listing, so I took an educated guess.)); (Obviously) Has high output thruster systems for both moderate-round flight, and battlefield acceleration, as well as prototype cold fueled B.E. Condensate Plasma-Jet propulsion units (his shoulder jets, facial jets, chest jets, groin jet, and ankle jets are all of these; they are not meant to help in sustained flight.), that allow for high maneuverability primarily on the ground for his heavier Mech, although it does help with flight maneuvers as well.

 

Biography: Roman grew up in the the worst place imaginable, Ukraine, a country of Europe, it had suffered the same nuclear fate as the rest of the continent, and yet, as a former part of Russia, was constantly torn by battles of attrition by the European powers, and Russia, and any of it's allies, while resistance groups, and renegade bands tor the country apart through their lack of concern for the consequences of their actions. In such cases, a resistance group would be heard of in the area, and Russian (Or European, if it was a renegade band) forces might come into nearby towns, and cause great harm to it's people; while if the group had never been there in the first place the town would have been left alone (seeing as both sides wanted some people to rule over when all the fighting was done.).

 

But surprisingly, none of this seems to have effected him in any harmful ways, although, yes, he can seem forlorn at times, often brooding over something. Yet, to him, the post-nuclear, war torn life in Ukraine was, to him, normal. He's even been known to say that he misses the sounds of artillery shells thumping in the distance, as one would so often hear in Ukraine; that is normal to him, as he has known no other life. But Roman's disposition is what one would call friendly, with a sense of wisdom, where he's been known to have a very level head compared to others. He'll always smile at you, knowing full well that everyone has a soft spot, and also knowing from his life in Ukraine, that there are always worse things that could happen, so why not have some joy in life, while it lasts - That is his motto, at least.

 

Roman was very young when he was taken by the MDN to be tested for Battle Suit compatibility (and it was also very difficult to extract him, and other children from the country too), but wasn't able to synchronize with any suit model they tested him in (although he still had high scores in basic suit use), as newer suits were still being developed, they decided it was best to wait it out with him, and unfortunately for him, they had to return him to his parents (don't get him wrong, he loves his parents, it's just that no one wants to be returned to a place like Ukraine). At eleven, his files were read over by an MDN team that had access to late, early-type Battle Suits, and along with other children from around the world that had been 'set aside', he was chosen for testing with them. The suits that he tested in were all models that had been deemed too unnecessary to waste resources on, or were; whose full production after development was put on hold for more pressing issues, or production, such as other, already proven models. He finally synchronized with a equipment, and purpose prototype-tester model, the second one in it's class, and one of only four ever built, the first being the field-test prototype unit, his was (as stated) the refined version, meant to test older equipment prototypes, and for skid combat (fast, barely off the ground movement, that utilizes quick bursts from jet propulsion units to use guerrilla tactics, heavy combat, where the suit moves in and out of fights quickly, but hits hard with heavy armaments. - ((Basically just like the Kämpfer!)) - ). The two that came after were not outfitted in the same manner, and are out of commission, one slowly being pieced back together, and the other simply unable to be used due to lack of suitable pilots, and software issues ((Not that any of that really matters, but I thought I'd get it out there.)). The suit was known as 'H.G.B.S.-Skids L-2', or, Lævateinn 2, a suit designed to require no shield units of any kind, as it is outfitted with heavy armor, and can escape combat just as quickly as it can engage in it, if it's armor does start to fail it's purpose. The suit's name isn't just for confusing others, or for show either, it was given the name as it's meaning was similar to the purpose it was ultimately meant for, as the Lævateinn models were designed in the latter part of the early years to end the war through use of heavy units, that utilized high mobility. Like it's namesake, it was to be 'The End Of All Things' (or at least the war), just like the Norse sword it was named after, which was to be wielded by a giant to bring about Ragnarok.

 

The suit is designed differently cockpit wise, as it has the early-type design of the cockpit being in the more heavily armored chest, and is not driven in the same manner. Though it has been retrofitted with newer equipment to allow for direct linking to the unit's head and optics, to give the pilot the feel of actually being the suit, in a sense though.

 

Roman was one of only a few though, to achieve synchronization with the suits being used, and was immediately sent for advanced training in the use of older model suits, and wasn't ready for full combat until around 16 years old; with roughly 5 to 6 years of training under his belt he finally was sent out with the Lævateinn 2, and as was expected of him, and the suit, they performed greatly. But ultimately, the suit's original purpose was obsoleted by the newer model designs, and interfaces; as finding optimal pilots, and training them would take too long, as well as the fuel type, and mineral requirement for the suit's production would take too long to requisite in large enough quantities, without the threat of stretching human resources too thin, and giving leeway for the opposition to make a push, and perhaps even winning before the suits could even be put out in large enough numbers to turn the tides. But Roman has kept his suit, and all of it's prototype facets (which are fortunately still being fine tuned into active non-prototype equipment) as an active battlefield member, with nearly 2 years of Battle Suit experience, he continues aiding high mobility units turn battles in their favor.

 

Roman is also a skilled tech (as well as a Mech weapons expert, or at least he has the knowledge of most Mech weaponry), seeing as maintaining his suit takes expert technicians, he's taken it upon himself to learn how to replace them, in case of emergencies (he's also taken into account that the technicians who know how to work on his suit will all eventually end up dying out in the future, through any reasonable cause, such as natural death, rad poisoning, accidents, or combat.). He's a practitioner of Systema, and Fencing, as well as an expert at Eskrima. Also a moderately skilled marksman. Is fluent in Ukrainian/Russian, good in English, and has some basic knowledge of Japanese, seeing as most of his Battle Suit technicians are Japanese, and he needed to learn what they were yelling at him about.

Secondary Equipment: Jetpack that lets it fly, two belt-fed machine-guns that are used for clearing out large amounts of enemies, carries a few bombs used to take down buildings, short energy sword hidden in jetpeck.

Biography: Originally born in Taiwan, Zhao moved with his family at an early age to America, as his parents feared a Chinese invasion of the island. Despite not being affiliated with China or its allies, Zhao was often ostracized by others, simply due to being "Chinese," and therefore, "the enemy". This caused Zhao to have a cold, cynical outlook on the world. This has led to him to often make ethically questionable acts or decisions without batting an eye, though he himself believes those decisions are logical and practical. Zhao would join the MFN simply to get away from his old life. He often keeps to himself and prefers working alone, which has often come off as arrogance to his superiors. His lone wolf nature, however, does not stop him from working with others.

He is currently high admiral of it, and as soon as his vessel launched, he was attacked by The European Empire. He managed to save the ship and its crew by setting up the shield and potisioning his ship behind the moon so that the european vessel crashed into the moon. He was a hero and became high admiral. He is now leader of Battle Suit Utopia in the skies....

 

There's only a couple of things I am against, and probably it's my own fault for not specifying.

 

1. Battle suits are gigantic, about 59 feet tall in average.

2. Space exploration has been put to a halt mostly after the war in 2052 so there isn't much in that field as almost all efforts, funding and all have gone towards War Economy.

3. Battle Suit Utopia is simply the title given, it's something that has to do with the story later on, so I won't spoil it.

4. Crossovers between Star Trek and all that kind of other third party stories are highly discouraged as this is an entirely different concept and not set in any way around the timeline or setting of any Star Wars or Star Trek or any other IP or theme for that matter. You can retain the name if you want, but other than that, his family conection to Captain Kirk and Starfleet and all, I have to say no to that. I try to encourage you guys to use your imagination and create something totally new, borrowing elements IS permited but adding a faction like that out of nowhere changes the plot too much and that is against the rules I posted.

Weapon of Choice: A Heavily Modified G576 High Impact Cannon, Rail gun, Pin-Point Missile Launcher(it fires multiple warheads at once)

 

Secondary Equipment: A 'virus-launcher,' a cannon armed with electronic rounds that carry a suit-corrupting virus, extremely dangerous. A jetpack, in addition to the suit's experimental design, which allows it to move at extremely fast speeds.

 

Biography: Kurt Heutelmann was born in Berlin in the year 2112 to GeneralFeldmarshall Eric Heutelmann and his wife Eda. Kurt was brought up in a traditional German way until reaching the age of 12, where he was then sent to several prominent military schools in order to follow his father's footsteps. He did this proudly, and had every intention of becoming an officer just as great, if not more so, then his father, who was then enlisted with the Combined European Powers. However, disaster struck Kurt when the Communist Powers of the East declared war on the western world and began a systematic invasion of all known territories. This declaration was affirmed by a Chinese guerilla/terrorist strike at a military and diplomatic relations meeting in Geneva, Switzerland. All personnel, many of which were high ranking officers of the CEP, were killed in a blast that had engulfed most of the city. GeneralFeldMarshall Eric Heutelmann was amongst them.

 

Upon hearing this news, Kurt resigned his commission with the CEP, instead joining the Battle-Suit wing in the BlackWater mercenary program, in an attempt to find his father's killers in a quicker fashion. He moved from job to job for a few years, picking up little bits of info on the black ops organization that had launched the attack on Geneva. Recently, he has accepted a contract with the MDN, and was assigned to a group of individuals which he is still trying to find...

Biography: David McTyler was born in America in 2108, to two extra wealthy parents, and as a result, he's been given lenience on many things, that is, until he got together with some friends and joined the MDN military forces. A noble, fighting like a commoner? Unheard of! He only gets small amounts of allowance (compared to what he got before), and still gets disdainful looks from his family.
