Again a song that sounded super familiar that I couldn't place...

Seems I'm the only one here with that problem :p

No true Mojo fan could fail to get this!

I used a polyphonic version of this as my ringtone for ages... with the opening note cut out so it could get on with the job of annoying everyone in the vicinity asap.

Man the SE rendition is rubbish though. :(

I feel a bit silly for getting it wrong at first. It's quite easy to guess what was my first guess

Wuut wasn't that my first guess :evanpiel:

Ah wait - just tried it in an incognito window. I guessed the wrong variant, but it only shows the short name as the correct answer.

I guessed the Atol first, then the other map - which is the same theme but in a major key. Pretty close though, especially for a game I haven’t touched in almost 23 years.

That beginning really threw me off. I was convinced it was music from the LUA Bar, they are almost identical

Nowhere is as bustling with invisible patrons as Planet Threepwood (except for, perhaps, Blondebeard's chicken shop).

Heh, yes. This is a particular oddity of Grim Fandango and Escape, I think because the engine/computers couldn’t handle too many characters on screen, so you ended up with strangely sparse locations such as Year Four’s casino.

An interesting detail that didn’t stand out so much until the remaster is that some of the Blue Casket patrons are just pictures baked into the background, and at the race track they’re a video. I guess the scenes in EMI didn’t lend themselves so well to this.

Some days I have really strong ears, yet I'm often asking people to repeat themselves in my old age...of 28 😂
