Uutont Fær Uulion Posted December 14, 2001 Posted December 14, 2001 I was just wondering am I normal and on what do we base a person being normal.
Darth_Rommel Posted December 14, 2001 Posted December 14, 2001 I don't know you, so I can't really judge.
scabb Posted December 14, 2001 Posted December 14, 2001 Would a normal person start a thread questioning his normality? Maybe.
Schmatz Posted December 14, 2001 Posted December 14, 2001 Yet another poor excuse to try out the polls. That's definately not normal.
Huz Posted December 15, 2001 Posted December 15, 2001 "Hello Normality! Are you the best first-person DOS adventure game that Gremlin have ever published?" "Yes."
Riffage Posted December 15, 2001 Posted December 15, 2001 your are probably not normal.... because i said so
raVen_image Posted December 15, 2001 Posted December 15, 2001 Normal \'nor mal\ adj. [L. normalis, freq. norma](ca 1626) 1. Perpendicular: esp. perpendicular to a tangent on a point of tangency. 2. a: according with, constituting, or not deviating from a norm, rule, or principal. b: conforming to a type, standard, or regular pattern. 3. Occuring naturally 4. a: of, relating to, or characterized by average intelligence or developement b: free from mental disorder: sane (and so on for 7 more like-wise definitions) Unless you aren't perpendicular to a tangent, you seem relatively normal to me ...pretty sick, ain't it?
Tierce Posted December 15, 2001 Posted December 15, 2001 hmmm...i always love making blind judgements...you have to be the wierdest person that i have....umm...not known.
Yoha Posted December 15, 2001 Posted December 15, 2001 Yes, he definitely looks perpendicular to me...
edlib Posted December 15, 2001 Posted December 15, 2001 If ya' gotta ask... Checked with mom. She sez you are a weirdo. Hope this helps.
Emma Posted December 15, 2001 Posted December 15, 2001 No one is 'normal' if that makes you feel better. You are unique.
Erwin_Br Posted December 15, 2001 Posted December 15, 2001 It's facinating, though, how we define 'normal'. I mean, in some countries it's normal if I would carry a gun and in other countries is normal when I would carry a bag of pot and smoke a joint. And no, I don't carry a gun nor do I smoke pot. --Erwin
Uutont Fær Uulion Posted December 15, 2001 Author Posted December 15, 2001 Thanks. now knowing that I am not normal I feel much better. Because that would be really weird if I was
Sarah Posted December 19, 2001 Posted December 19, 2001 As Raven-whatever pointed out, 'normal' is actually a statistical term. 'Normal' can only statistically describe one variable. This means that, in all likelihood, you are normal in most aspects (height, intelligence, shoe size), but possibly not in others... so Emma is also right. You are unique. Blah blah blah.
1.21 Jigawatts? Posted December 19, 2001 Posted December 19, 2001 Who knows what normal is anyway? No-one.
Schmatz Posted December 19, 2001 Posted December 19, 2001 Every one has a different view of a normal person... that's why we are all unique This needs a new thread heh.
Lemon Head Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 I'm sure that by some twisted standards, even i'm normal ...it's a strange and morbid world out there
