Unhealthy... tastes good... makes you fat... makes you go mmm... so much to concider...

What makes the Meatball Marinara so unhealthy (I never eat at Subway so I'm okay... although I do occasionally eat fried chicken which apparently increases your immunity to penicillin..)?

I don't eat the meatball marinara simply because it's beef, but I would also like to know what makes it so unhealthy. I don't tend to eat subways that often because of the cost.

The meatball marinara is packed with more calories than any other sub, and I'm assuming the meat isn't necessarily the most exquisite around.

Good to know, I'll stick with my turkey ham and ham with extra cheese and mayo (at least I'm not fooling myself into believing it's even slightly healthy).

1) The people who have to work there at 2 in the morning (Like, me, tonight) hate you.

But the amount of love i had for you guys balanced out the hate.

Screw unhealthy, it was 2am, i'd just spent 6 hours pulling pints and stopping fights in a fag and slag filled environment. D'ya think i gave a rats ass if it was bad for me.

If heaven exists and had a canteen i wonder what food it'd serve....

Odd little fact I found out today (connected to unhealthy fast food), turns out that McDonalds don't actually use egg logs in their breakfast foods.

For those who don't know, an egg log (and if anyone can find me a website with adequate information of said log I'd appreciate it because Google is turning up nothing) is basically... well a log of processed egg which fast food establishments would cut up into little discs and fry them for their breakfast foods (see Clerks 2 to see it in action). Judging by the perfectly circular lumps of egg that seem to come with the McDonalds breakfast foods such as the sausage and egg mcmuffin, it would be reasonable to assume that they use such techniques.

But, it seems McDonalds (this being confirmed by ex-employees) actually uses real eggs and an odd system of making them round and thick to fit the muffin. Who knew, McDonalds actually cares... a little... about their food.

I think a McDonald's employee spit in my hastily ordered breakfast after over hearing me use some sexist terminology even though I wasn't talking about her. It all really came down to the fact that I tried to order a regular meal during breakfast hours thinking it was much later in the day. It made me wonder what made me desire ****ty food in the first place.

I think that slightly nasty processed egg can be identified by there being no distinction between white and yolk, like scrambled egg.

McMuffins are definitely the epitome of fast food in my opinion. You can make those McMuffin-style eggs really easily by just microwaving them in a small plastic container (you can get them that produce pretty much the same size egg). Get some sausage meat, cheese slices, and muffins, and you can have a pretty tasty alternative should you fancy a McMuffin at, like, midnight!

McMuffins at midnight... now there's a dream. I sometimes make sausage and egg sandwiches for breakfast when I'm having a fat day... they're just not the same.

Fag and slag? What about the smoking ban? Young slag and slightly younger baby, perhaps, but no fags, unless you are BREAKING THE LAW.

Yeah, google was pretty fruitless. Maybe "egg log" is a really obscure term for it. To be honest though, thier special technique of cooking the egg to make it rounder could be dangerous and lethal.

Fixed.

There is a site which tells you how to make things like mcmuffin sandwich things and all that malarkey. The man who does it is quite annoying but it can be pretty interesting and is apparently a good source. http://www.topsecretrecipes.com/home.asp

Not really, I simply didn't bother explaining it in my last post, their technique is simply breaking an egg in a metal ring on the griddle and placing boiling water on top (in a pot) to steam the top so that it cooks on the top as it does on the bottom. Nothing particularly lethal about it and apparently the eggs are free range.

Hmm... good job McDonalds. Reminds me, yesterday at my school some chavs were listening to music on the speaker on their phones (hooray for maximum treble ¬¬) and I recognised it, so I asked the phone holder what it was and he said "MC Donalds". I'm not sure if he realised that the name was an obvious piss-take, and I'm not sure if he realised that it was Led Zeppelin (dyer maker :() sped up to x2 speed with a weird drum beat and some random Flash Gordon type sound effects over it that didn't seem to appreciate how music worked, and were probably just there for the beer and bitches. It sort of made me laugh a bit at the likelihood of it being a satirical exploitation of how people seem to approach their music nowadays, but it also made me die a bit inside. Just a bit.

I hate it when people take good music, speed it up at a beat and turn it into dance music. I really don't know what must be going through a persons head to make them like music like that (yes, different stokes an all that, but whilst I don't like certain music such as rap and RnB, I can appreciate it and understand why people like it, dance music I really can't get my head around).

I think that's the best post Fealiks has ever made! Truly! It deserves love loving respect.

Also, I used to live right opposite a McDonalds and a Subway. Let me tell you, it was brilliant, though not for my waistline.

Why thank you.

While we are still on McDonalds/silly delinquent children, in Hinckley (crappy town where my dad lives) there used to be a McDonalds literally next door to a Subway, but the McDonalds recently got shut down. It obviously used to be a chav nest (aren't all McDonaldses?) and on the board the council put up infront of it after it was shut down, some chav had written "CUM BAK DIK ED" in tippex. God's honest truth. Still brings a tear of laughter to my eye.

I can't rest easy unless I know that my eggs were harvested from a 7 vaginaed 2 headed hen who gets beat silly every morning with a shovel until she pops out 12.5 eggs, then spends the rest of the day chained to the floor, being fed steroids while watching MTV.
