Zygomaticus Posted January 4, 2002 Posted January 4, 2002 i just returned from the theatre and i loved the movie i wanna know who you think is the best fellow of the nine mine is legolas and strider
Artoo Posted January 4, 2002 Posted January 4, 2002 gimli or gandalf. I can't make up my mind. Gandalf has a cool hat, but Gimli is a dwarf. They're both so cool.
Guest SlashAndBurn Posted January 4, 2002 Posted January 4, 2002 Strider is my favorite. He has a rougeish look to him but carrys himself like a noble. i alos like how Boromirs character is a perfect way to illustrate the power and evil of the ring.
Zygomaticus Posted January 4, 2002 Author Posted January 4, 2002 i say legolas, cuz hes basically got the class. he has the dominating, confident and full of spirit character. and hes great with the bow and arrow, and hes faithful to the fellowship and hes got cool ears and hair
Boba Rhett Posted January 4, 2002 Posted January 4, 2002 Gandalf and Sam. btw, I'm going to go see it again tomorrow!
Zygomaticus Posted January 4, 2002 Author Posted January 4, 2002 from his character in the book i expected sam to be a kind of muscular guy rather i was surprised to see chubby old sam then again i didnt expect the hobbits to be so short
Boba Rhett Posted January 4, 2002 Posted January 4, 2002 o_0 ..... You must not have been paying attention to about half the first book then. Why did you think he'd be muscular?
Zygomaticus Posted January 4, 2002 Author Posted January 4, 2002 i dont know i didnt finish the book he always seemed brave and always supporting i dont know why whenever i read a book i quickly get images of how people might look and thats how i images sam. well you never know maybe even tolkien supposed sam was supposed to be a muscular dude:D
duder Posted January 4, 2002 Posted January 4, 2002 I thought they were all superb, Legolas had the best moves. But for me Frodo was the best of the fellowship. Perfect. Saruman was my favourite character of the entire film, I'm a Christopher Lee fan.

Crazy_dog no.3 Posted January 4, 2002 Posted January 4, 2002 Boromirs is quite good (was he the guy who at first nearly turned evil, tempted by the ring, and then fought all those orcs). Strider's just cool, and I like Sam cuase he's funny.

Havoc Stryphe Posted January 4, 2002 Posted January 4, 2002 Chris Lee was also the original Count Dracula, and count Richeliou in the original 3 musketeers movie, and was in Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow movie.
Rogue Nine Posted January 4, 2002 Posted January 4, 2002 Sleepy Hollow was a weird movie...They screwed up the whole story.
