Heavyarms Posted January 21, 2002 Posted January 21, 2002 well, of the lot of people here, there are certainly lots of people that would be chosen to mod over you, natopo. They would choose someone like Kvan, Clefo, or Tie guy first, then go to lesser guys that haven't been around very long, but around a while (me.) They probably wouldn't let you or me here, because you remember the fight, right? They don't like that stuff.
Rogue15 Posted January 21, 2002 Posted January 21, 2002 I'll outlive you all on these forums, and become an Administrator. I have forseen it.
Zygomaticus Posted January 21, 2002 Posted January 21, 2002 i will outlive you.....since im younger than you....ill live longer from now:D
Rogue15 Posted January 21, 2002 Posted January 21, 2002 so what if you do. I'll always be older and wiser than you! And I'm not going to college.
Tie Guy Posted January 21, 2002 Posted January 21, 2002 Originally posted by krkode i will outlive you.....since im younger than you....ill live longer from now:D I'll outlive you all if it kills me! Anyways, that makes me wonder how long the admins will remain admins. Like if they'll still be doing this when they're 60.
Rogue15 Posted January 22, 2002 Posted January 22, 2002 I think the only people that'll be left from the rs.net forums 3 years from now will be: Tie Guy Redwing Rogue15 (me) Wraith 8 Lynk hehe
Zygomaticus Posted January 22, 2002 Posted January 22, 2002 well look here, you can count me on to gb forums until i die or they die

I guess we'll stop when a)Real life responsibilities prevents us from administrate anymore or b)the network goes bankrupt
Zygomaticus Posted January 22, 2002 Posted January 22, 2002 i hope the network doesnt go bankrupt and i think new leaders shall arrive
matt-- Posted January 22, 2002 Posted January 22, 2002 Originally posted by Sherack Nhar b)the network goes bankrupt Bought out, perhaps. Bankrupt, no way.

Most of the admins are in college, right? Maybe when we're in college and the current admins have real jobs and all then maybe they'll pass the boards on to us...then again, they may not be in college, but i thought they were.
Paragon_Leon Posted January 23, 2002 Posted January 23, 2002 Even though i have a job, that doesn't mean that a 'real life possibility' prevents me from moderating. Anyhow, I have already outlived most forummers here in terms of age, so i don't really see the problem of outliving a board as well.

Moderating is different than administrating, there is alot more to do than just read over the forums. Besides, most people don't have a slack job like writing for a magazine. j/k
Paragon_Leon Posted January 23, 2002 Posted January 23, 2002 Correction: writing for the mags is PART of my job.
Young David Posted January 23, 2002 Posted January 23, 2002 He does more ... He has to listen to music a lot, visit concerts, co-host a radio program, travel around the world to interview artists ... bussy job
Tie Guy Posted January 23, 2002 Posted January 23, 2002 Originally posted by Young David He does more ... He has to listen to music a lot, visit concerts, co-host a radio program, travel around the world to interview artists ... Yeah, what a pain...

observer_20000 Posted January 24, 2002 Posted January 24, 2002 Really, what is the big deal about being a mod?
Boba Rhett Posted January 24, 2002 Posted January 24, 2002 Do you have any idea how much responsibility comes with it?
duder Posted January 24, 2002 Posted January 24, 2002 Originally posted by observer_20000 Really, what is the big deal about being a mod? Precisely!!! I'm not sure what the appeal is?!

Paragon_Leon Posted January 24, 2002 Posted January 24, 2002 ...which is why you need mods. :-) Sometimes this job IS a pain; make no mistake. Imagine being forced to listen to something that is abominal.
observer_20000 Posted January 24, 2002 Posted January 24, 2002 Originally posted by Boba Rhett Do you have any idea how much responsibility comes with it? Exactly my point, it's a lot of work, and that feeling of power you might get, will probably wear off in a matter of days.
