R5D4 Posted April 9, 2002 Posted April 9, 2002 I noticed it by seeing the quantity of posting on this board. Is not so much anymore ! Are we all playin'a different game?? GreetZ
Guest Supreme Warlord Posted April 9, 2002 Posted April 9, 2002 I would imagine that the craze for it would cool down after about four or five months...I am tired of it already....I just post here because this forum is the most fun message board I seen so far beside we have a lot of die hard star wars fan here hehehehe.
duder Posted April 9, 2002 Posted April 9, 2002 The expansion pack and War Zone will pick up interest.
Wraith 8 Posted April 10, 2002 Posted April 10, 2002 also remember that a lot of fans are playing JKII
JediMasterEd Posted April 11, 2002 Posted April 11, 2002 can't wait to buy JKII. The regular Jedi Knight never lost its steem until JKII came out. Not everyone wanted to buy Mysteries of the Sith..presumably. The expansion pack better make the game more appealing. adding two more civs just won't do Lucasarts. add, say, 6 more. then it would make it even more better. George Lucas has a good imagination. maybe some "altered" civs could make the game better. Bothans, Calimari, Black Sun, etc. but the game has gotten very boring to me. i play for 30 minutes and i turn it off. i think its because of my computer...oh well.
Natopo Posted April 11, 2002 Posted April 11, 2002 I still play it when I can. I haven't gotten bored of it and when I do, I just download some scenarios from GB.com
captain_drake Posted April 11, 2002 Posted April 11, 2002 i have loved playing online except when i get beaten down like last night
The Red Master Posted April 12, 2002 Posted April 12, 2002 It's still popular, this forum is the forum with almost the most posts!!! And people don't come every day!!!
duder Posted April 12, 2002 Posted April 12, 2002 This site was its own worst enemy. They did nothing to attract posters. Now it has brought in tournos, news letters and War Zone. Its these kind of ideas that will keep the community thriving.
DarthMuffin Posted April 13, 2002 Posted April 13, 2002 Personaly, I've stop playing swgb when JkII came out but I like swgb better and I'm back at it.
DarthTenor Posted April 15, 2002 Posted April 15, 2002 I've been away for awhile myself. Just heard about the x-pack and am hoping that the game changes and additions warrant me to come back to this game.
Guest DarthMaulUK Posted April 15, 2002 Posted April 15, 2002 Clone Campaigns WILL be worth the money. It will add more excitement to SWGB - new maps, new units, new civs and of course the 250 pop limit now will help with grand scale battles. Let's face it, after watching Episode II - we will all want to re-create that massive land battle!!! GB.com staff are all working hard to try and get this site fully working for CC release, so stay tuned. Sign up for our Newsletter http://www.galacticbattles.com/newsletter.htm DMUK
