darthfergie Posted April 30, 2002 Posted April 30, 2002 Who do you think will win the Stanely Cup? Vote, discuss!!!
Sherack Nhar Posted May 1, 2002 Posted May 1, 2002 San Jose!! They rule! I should vote for my team (Montreal), but I'm sure they won't get past the third round (IF they can beat the Hurricanes...)
Darth Homer Posted May 1, 2002 Posted May 1, 2002 GO CAROLINA!!! umm....are they good?? CAROLINA!! YEA!!! I don't actually follow hockey...CAROLINA ALL THE WAY!!! w00t

Kylilin Posted May 1, 2002 Posted May 1, 2002 I was never a big fan of hockey, although I did enjoy hockey in the Olympics a lot. I think the NHL should adapt it style to the Olympic style of hockey, its a lot moe entertaining. anyway, I digress, I'll take the Redwings, just because I don't know anything about hockey and the Rangers aren't in the playoffs this year.
Clefo Posted May 2, 2002 Posted May 2, 2002 To elaborate on my previous post: I only voted for the Avs cause they're my favorite team (since 1995!) I seriously think that the Red Wings will probably win it all, but I hate the Wings with a passion, being a loyal Avs fan since 1995
DashRendar Posted May 2, 2002 Posted May 2, 2002 I went with the Redwings. Only because I don't know a thing about hockey and they seem to be doing best. I got this from AgentBaseball (an AIM bot)
darthfergie Posted May 2, 2002 Author Posted May 2, 2002 AVS RULE!!! (Really! The San Jose game was just a fluke! They got lucky!) I mean how can you lose? Blake, Sakic, Drury, Tanguay, Hejduk, Foote, Roy, and of course Forsberg!!!
Unregistered Posted May 2, 2002 Posted May 2, 2002 hmmm... I LIKE the Canadiens, and the Leafs... ... But, take a look at Detroit's roster... The avalanche looked... weak during the LA series. I think the Sharks are a superior* team, now... if Nabokov can keep it up! *They won their series WITHOUT any scoring from their "superstars" Owen Nolan and Teemu Selanne. If those guys start scoring...
darthfergie Posted May 2, 2002 Author Posted May 2, 2002 But you must remember that Forsberg, Sakic, and Blake did not score much at all durring the Kings games...so the same can apply in their case:p
darthfergie Posted May 6, 2002 Author Posted May 6, 2002 8-2!!!! Avs CRUSHED the Sharks!!! http://www.nhl.com/onthefly/scoreboard/recaps/242_3_recap.html
Clefo Posted May 16, 2002 Posted May 16, 2002 Ha! Avs 1, Sharks 0 Avs win series 4-3! I told ya so Rommel, and Sherack Now to be totally crushed by the Red Wings
cblm Posted May 16, 2002 Posted May 16, 2002 The 4 teams left are Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes, Detroit Red Wings and Colorado Avalanche. All the other teams are out.
Treacherous Mercenary Posted May 16, 2002 Posted May 16, 2002 Carolina Hurricanes! Only because I live in the heart of NC .
Darth_Rommel Posted May 17, 2002 Posted May 17, 2002 Originally posted by Clefo Ha! Avs 1, Sharks 0 Avs win series 4-3! I told ya so Rommel, and Sherack Now to be totally crushed by the Red Wings darn it all... ... GO WINGS!
Treacherous Mercenary Posted May 17, 2002 Posted May 17, 2002 No, no, no!!! Carolina HurricanesHurricanes How many times do I have to say that ?
darthfergie Posted May 17, 2002 Author Posted May 17, 2002 never...BECAUSE THEY STINK:p only joking...The Canes are on a roll and are looking good to make it to the finals where they will be beaten by the Avs. Well done for them!
Lord Fergie Posted May 17, 2002 Posted May 17, 2002 Colorado rocks!!! Kasperidis will pound Hult's face in, then Hasek will rush in to fight because he's a loser, then Blake will come up and DECK him! Chris Chelios will try to defend Hasek, but no. He finds Foresburg's fist, face to fist. THen both benches erupt and a team wide fight breacks out and then the crowd gets into it and breacks down the glass to fight too. In the aftermath 9 Redwings are ejected and 9 Avs are ejected. But since Roy stayed in the Avs win against Detroit's backup goalie in game 7. Then Avs go on to face Canes in the finals...in game 7 Avs win again... (ending of Lord Fergie's NHL playoff predictions)

Lord JayVizIon Posted May 17, 2002 Posted May 17, 2002 btw, the avs have a chance b/c of roy (he's better than hasek) but detroit can roll the lines so i expect the wings in 6...
