LBA - Little Big Adventure (its French)

Hello everyone, this is my fist post here.

 

It's dificult to rate them, but here they are:

 

1.- Grim Fandango

2.- The Longest Journey

3.- Discworld Noir

4.- Sanitarium

5.- Full Throttle

6.- Day of the Tentacle

7.- The Neverhood

8.- Toonstruck

9.- Curse of the Monkey Island (I played MI1 and 2 much later)

10.- Sam and Max hit the road

 

There are many more, but this are the best of the best.

i cant really decide on a top10 or 20 but if i would make one these would definitly be in it:

 

LucasArts: Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Monkey Island 1&2, (Full Throttle)

 

Sierra: Gabriel Knight Series, (Police) Quest Series and for originality on sierra's record: Torin's Passage

 

Delphine Software: Operation Stealth (aka Ye Stealth Affair)

 

Access Software: Tex Murphy Series

 

currently playing Phantasmagoria, can't tell if its any good yet, has potential though...

LBA was a great game but i gave up on the second one as my computer alwys crashed at this one point in it. grrr. My fave game has to be Fate of Atlantis but i though the DOTT was hilarious and i also liked the dig.

Yeah, that annoyed me too. Also, the game wasn't advetised very well (meaning it wasn't advertised at all). You can still buy it, though, so if anyone sees it in the shops and they haven't got it... then, for the love of adventure games, BUY IT!!!

 

I also agree with you about PC Zone :)

I bet I know how to stop your LBA2 from crashing. Did it always crash when you were in the Jail Cell? If so all need need to do is move all the voice files out of your LBA2 directory, play past the point where it would normally crash, then save it & put the voice files back. Voila!

 

So many people had a problem with this.
