There is more than one defintion, depending on the kind of person you are.

you are a newbie until:

1.you feel like one of "them"

2.you have been around for about 3 years, or

3.a person in authourty pronouces it so

In this case,I'm not sure whether I'm a newbie or not.

It's all in the mind. You're a "n00b" if you feel like one...or act like one...and if you do, then you are one *shrugs*

Some people who like being jerks have other definitions...not including Niner of course...:D;)

It's just a little psychological thing they do to make themselves feel superior when they see everyone else getting higher post counts then they do...:D

Again, not including Niner...since he actually does have a halfway decent post count ;):p

post count is meaningless, their are, what, 18 General Discussions now, its not exactly difficult to spam yourself to a high post count, the elitest person on the whole board is a guy i saw make an announcement, ~150 posts, signed up some time in '97.

EDIT: Aristotle, thats the guy.

he is sooo not n00b.

I don';t have 7k+ posts because i work too damned much, and i took like 2 month breaks.

I didnt call him a n00b, i said the opposite :o

He isn't a n00b because he has been registered so long and has so few posts, means his not a traditional spamming newbie :)

You should get a sign that says "Proudly downloading Pr0n since 1999." :D
