Darth Simpson Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 Only use ICQ, sorry. Although I might switch to Trillian soon.
setsuko Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 Use Trillian. Then you don't have to bother, since you can use AIM, ICQ, MSN, Y! and even IRC with the same client. Thereby, this argument is pretty unnecessary. Oh, and you don't appear in the "yellow pages" or whatever ICQ calls it, so you don't get spammed all the time. I mean, I went from 10 spams a day to one each week. http://www.trillian.cc Oh, and no, I am not emplyed by trillians PR agency. I just think it kicks ass.
Jan Gaarni Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 I mean, I went from 10 spams a day to one each week. I went from 10 pr day to none. Hehe Just turned myself to Invisible. Worked like a charm.
setsuko Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 Yeah, but then you have to stay invisible all the time. Not a good solution if you are online 24/7.
Jan Gaarni Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 Not really a problem. Heard of letting people that you know see you when you're invisible? NOTE! That was not ment to seem sarcastic, in a nad way that is, if you took it that way.
Koffin Posted May 29, 2002 Posted May 29, 2002 I used Trillian only once. It wouldnt let me use the voice conversation for MSN so I closed it and havent opened it since. It definitly looked promising but I couldnt live with out my voice conversations. So Ill stay MSN all the way unless somebody saw something I missed.
Wraith 8 Posted May 30, 2002 Author Posted May 30, 2002 so.... none of you use MSN or AIM? hmm.. i think you guys are the only one on the entire Lucas Fourms who dont....

Paragon_Leon Posted June 5, 2002 Posted June 5, 2002 MSN. The first chat-program i have found to be easy to use. And it's a direct link-up to my Hotmail, which never hurts.

Zendjir Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 Whaaa, it's Leon..from GB! How did that Naboo campaign work out? Oh, and on topic: I use MSN, but I don't always feel like chatting.

Darth_Rommel Posted June 8, 2002 Posted June 8, 2002 MSN... it looks better, it doesn't have that annoying "bling!" sound, and... that's about all that seperates the two, IMHO.
gonk-raider Posted June 8, 2002 Posted June 8, 2002 Trillian is indeed for hte elite..dont be so hasty to give it away
setsuko Posted June 8, 2002 Posted June 8, 2002 Yup. Especially since I can use it for IRCing when I don't bother to start another IRC program. I dumped mICQ pretty much at the same moment as I found Trillian
Yoda_623 Posted June 29, 2002 Posted June 29, 2002 I use MSN. Mainly because all of my friends have it.
Redwing Posted June 29, 2002 Posted June 29, 2002 AIM, for the above reason. MSN, too, though. AIM: RedwingGreen7 MSN: redwinggreen7@hotmail.com
Treacherous Mercenary Posted July 17, 2002 Posted July 17, 2002 I use both MSN and AIM. I would do trillian, but it doesn't want to seem to work for me. The thing is, I;m not much of a talative person online and offline . MSN: Red_Alert41@hotmail.com AIM: Sgt Sardaukar1
