I've linked everything to make it easier.

1st: Go to Geocities.com

2nd: Click on Sign up for a free website

3rd: Fill out the info form and submit it.

4th: Go back to Geocities.com

5th: See the sign in thingy ont he top left of the page? Use it to sign in. :D

6th: After you sign in it will take you to another page. On the right side of the page it will have a little box called Advanced Toolbox. Within that box, click on the link that says Easy Upload. It will take you too a page were you can upload your image.

7th: After you have it uploaded, go back to the Advanced Toolbox and click on File Manager then on Open File Manager. It will take yo to a list of your uploaded files. Click on the image you just uploaded and copy what it's adress is. You'll need it in a second.

8th: You should see a file in there called Index.html. Check the little box to the left of it, scroll up to the top and hit the Edit button that's just above the list of files.

9th: It will take you to a page were you can edit that document. Were going to be sticking your image address into this page so we all can see it.

Overwrite everything in the document with the following code,

<HTML>

<IMG src="YOUR_IMAGE_ADDRESS_HERE">

</HTML>

Those quotation marks must stay there.

10th: At the bottom of the page, hit the save button. It will take you back to the list of your files.

11th: Just give us the adress of your Index.html file and we'll be able to see your image. :)

If that's too overwhelming, you can just send the picture to me and I'll post it. :)

Someone also might be able to give you a link to an uploader where you don't have to mess with that html document. That would make things a lot simpler for you. :)

Well, yes and no.

First of all, you are linking to a web page, so the IMAGE TAG won't work ;)

Second of all, Goecities won't let you link to images, so you have to rename the image 3 letter extension to .txt or something of the like so the image tag will work. :D

But having said that, I went to your index page and viewed Clefo Jr., very cute! I can see why you don't make alot of baskets! :D

EDIT: Oops, you already saw it and linked to the page instead of using an image tag, good job! :D

Not necessarily convert. Just rename it. For example:

1. if the image is on your Computer, goto windows explorer and view the folder the image resides in.

2. click on the image file and select rename from the FILE tab or right click and select RENAME

3. instead of naming it clefojr.gif (Or whatever) name it clefojr.txt. This way, the file is still in an image format but simply renamed.

4. Now you would upload it to Geocities.

5. use an IMAGE TAG to http://www.geocities.com/sttct/clefojr.txt and the image should appear.

GEOCITIES only blocks leeching of image files (jpg, gif, tif etc.), so it won't block the leeching of a txt file, you just fooled geocities into thinking your image is really a text file, that's all! :D
