brief
Poke what? Originally posted by Crazy_Taco dont mean to get off topic but Sailor Moon and Tenchi Muyo arent very serious animes. Depends on which Tenchi continuity you're watching. The OVA series is much more serious than the others, although the 3rd movie seems to be the most series of all, and it belongs to the first TV series continuity. I can agree with you on Sailor Moon. Kjølen: I think your definition of "serious" needs serious re-defining. Yuu Yuu Hakusho -- sometimes. Ranma 1/2 -- serious? I think not. Love Hina -- Yet another "silly" series. DragonBall -- Dragon Ball was never too serious, either. It concentrated more on humor than other things. Dragon Ball Z concentrated more on fighting, which may make it seem more serious, but in animation, the fights drag out too long. Hence detractors have called it "Drag-on Ball Z." Gundum -- I've never heard of "Gundum." I have, however, heard of "Gundam." Most of the Gundam series have been serious. Cowboy Bebop -- Seems to be somewhat serious from the promos I've seen. Never bothered watching it, though.
Kjølen
I guess I said 'serious' then forgot that I was talking about serious only animes.... that's sad... I've never accually Seen Sailer Moon, Ranma 1/2, Love Hina or a full episode of Cownoy Bebob so....I should shut up now. *Runs naked and crying* *For once feels the joy that Niko and Guybrush felt before, starts running is happiness* *Wakes up the next day feeling groggy and noticing that is still naked and hanging from a bridge*

RicardoLuigi...
wow...this is an old topic. but i'll post here...yes, i do remember pokemon. that was a really fun game. in fact i still have the games for my game boy...and both of the pokemon stadium games...and pokemon puzzle league, and pokemon pinball. i can't believe they still make the games, though. and the show is still going. and for some strange reason it's only going here still, it's not even liked in japan anymore, where it was created. can you imagine being really old and then pulling out the pokemon games and giving them to your grandkids or whatever? that'd be weird. does anybody here live in japan? for some reason, it seems like everyone lives in the...western hemisphere. except niko. or is he in the western hemisphere? hm. i have writer's cramp, bad. it hurts to be typing this. Yufster
I liked pokemon, and I would still play it if only they hadn't added about 200 more to the original 150-something. And if about 100 copies of Pokemon had been produced. It was a fun game and stuff. Oops gotta go!

RicardoLuigi...
There is no western hemisphere. The world is round, bucko! there's a northern and a southern though. and there's a western and an eastern as well. that's why they're called hemispheres. oh yeah. australia's there, too. but whatever. back to pokleemen... Alien426
HEMISPHERE Definition: 1. [n] either half of the cerebrum 2. [n] half of the terrestrial globe 3. [n] half of a sphere I stand corrected I still think it makes no sense talking about West and East when the only directions one can pinpoint are North and South.
