Think of it this way, if Gandalf can own a Balog, he'll own just about anyone

*vote Gandalf, if you don't vote for him, vote Aragorn, because he's also COOL! Either of the 2 is ok with me*

he is 33 in looks but 50ish because the ring haulted his growth and aging process

if i can remember correctly, hobbits age differently to humans, their coming of age is at 31 or something, below that makes them children. Besides, men of the dunedan live up to several hundred years (aragorn was 200 something when he dies) so all the age system is kinda $%^#$%# up

That's a tough question:

They all have unique qualities.

1) In the movie: Aragorn, 2nd Gandalf

2) In the books: Gandalf and Aragorn tied for 1st, Frodo close 2nd

I just watched the movie again and I have to say... I don't mind the part with Arwen Evenstar as scenes in a movie (with one exception which I will get to in a second) I think its just the mere fact that they rewrote the story because they thought the movie had to have a love interest. That REALLY gets under my skin in the worst way. Firstly because the important love story in the novel is about the platonic relationship that is shared between Sam and Frodo. Their love for each other is what keeps them going through the dark lands right up to the Crack of Doom. Secondly because there is already a perfectly fine love story going on, in the book, between Aragorn and Arwen but its only hinted at in FoTR and Two Towers and then climaxes in Return of the King when Aragorn takes the throne again and is finally able to love Arwen out in plain society. I thought that was a much better and satisfying love-story progression. Not so... right there in your face from the beginning.

The exception that I mentioned above is when Arwen says "I choose a mortal life!" Everytime I hear it I flynch. So horrendous that I have to leave the tv and get a snack whilst clamping my hands over my ears and humming.
