Luke`s voice in episode 2

It is definitely meant to qui-gon, GL said himself, but Liam Neeson didn’t record it, it was made using sound bites. I don’t recall qui-gonn shouting ‘no!’ in Ep I, so they probably used someone else’s ‘no!’ but regardless the ‘no!’ is meant to be qui-gonn.

To me, it always sounded like QGJ, but it was of a different octave, or note, since to me it seemed like Anakin killing those Tusken Raiders was a big shift in the balance of the Force. So instead of QGJ sounding the same, the Force shifted, and made his voice distort to show that.........

Anyway, that is what I think....

You do mean "Qui Gon" right? Did you even see the phantom menace movie? At any rate it really is supposed to be Qui-Gonn's voice. You can't go by what you thougth you heard. In The Empire Strikes Back Special Edition, when luke finally falls off of the weather vane his scream sounds exactly like the emporer in Return of the Jedi when Vader throws him down the shaft in the Death Star. And note this, in Raiders of the lost ark, during the truck chase sequence when Indy accidentally hits a bunch of workers on ladders one of them screams exactly like a stormtrooper when he falls, off the catwalk in the Death Star in A New Hope. Take it from someone who has seen these movies entirely too many times.

No offense, but I don't care what you think you heard, it is not Luke, it is Qui-Gonn. That is a fact. From Ben Burtt, one of the movie's editors and sound designers, answering this question:

"Q: Do I hear the voice of Qui-Gon Jinn shouting, "Anakin, Anakin... No!", in Yoda's apartment after Anakin attacks the Tusken Raiders?

A: Yes indeed, the voice that Yoda hears is that of Qui-Gon Jinn."

but some people also said they heard vader's breathing is that qui-gon too? no, it's a different person, and no it is NOT liam neeson's voice that says no, to me it sounds like luke but maybe it is SUPPOSED to be qui-gon's, it isn't liam neeson's voice and i personally don't think it is supposed to be, cuz they would've got liam neeson to say "NOOOOOOOO!" instead of someone else and then try to pass it off as him, i think it's luke

"but some people also said they heard vader's breathing is that qui-gon too?"

that was AFTER Qui-Gon said "Anakin, anakin, NOOOO!!!" They have NOTHING to do with each other.

"no, it's a different person"

Duh

"and no it is NOT liam neeson's voice that says no, to me it sounds like luke but maybe it is SUPPOSED to be qui-gon's, it isn't liam neeson's voice"

i agree. it doesn't sound like qui-gon, but it IS supposed to be Qui-Gon.

The guy on the OFFICAL WEBSITE said it WAS Qui-Gon. I don't think they would want to lie to the public. Maybe they couldn't get Liam to fly over there to the music studio or whatever? It IS Qui-Gon. Sorry.
