Obi_Non_Kosher
Would someone please post a screenshot of Jedi Outcast from a machine that has a less than perfect graphics card? I'm having difficulty convincing my dad to spring for the geforce4 ti. If you can, post a screenshot taken with the minimum card (16mb graphics accelerator) thx. OnlyOneCanoli
Well, this is from a guy running the game on a 4MB ATi Rage Pro, but it may convince your father quite nicely.
Darklighter
Wow...I have a 16MB Rage Pro, and it is a lot better than that, but still not too good...Geforce 4 will do nicely for JK2 I think...
Pad
im also playing jk2 with a ati rage pro and it goes quiet well. sometimes it goes a bit slow in very large outdoor areas. although it works i hope we get a new pc/graphix card soon.

Rogue Nine
To be more convincing, is there a screenshot with Kyle's lightsaber drawn? I want to see how that looks with a low-end video card.

NerfYoda
One of the academy staff has a Riva128. It's annoying because all the people need to clear out of the room when he duels. the extra models present in the room lower his FPS to some ungoldy number enough that he cant duel. Obi_Non_Kosher
Those graphics aren't worthy of the pixels they were painted with! I would like to see the saber drawn...if you can. I think the best I'm gonna get for now is a rain check for christmas. But I'll watch the prices; with the new radeon out, geforce4 prices should go down a good bit around november...to stay competitive for the holiday season. Right now, my dad has said "I think that's pure balls. It's not worth it." me: "You'll just never understand what it means to be a gamer." Dad: "Yes, I do. I just don't understand why I have to pay for my son to be one. I'll buy you a new monitor and a good and cheap AGP card. Didn't you see a 64mb card in computer edge for 36$?" That raises another question: screenshots for a 64mb 4x agp card? You guys have been extremely helpful.

Old_Ben
That's interesting, if you have a new sig it doesn't change in your old posts, but your avatar does.
Throno-Denkai
I say stick with GeForce 4TI cause this card on the screen shots is pretty old for the games right now. It would fix the game a bit and get a bit more clear vision but it doesnt worth for the money you spend. If you want the perfection game quality, I would say GF4 Ti, MX, GF3 TI or ATI Rodeon 8500. If you want a cheaper one, Rodeon 7500 would do fine. 8500 works on more functions and adds more details to the game.
