Kstar__2 Posted September 22, 2002 Posted September 22, 2002 since the LFJA has a lot teachers without a padawan, i thought of this tread: if you want 2 b a padawan, make a post wich says padawan, if you are a teacher. make a post wich says teacher, under here, i will gater all the padawans and teachers, sothat if you need a padawan/teacher, you can look here would B padawans: HekxNoxu Teachers without a padawan: Dath Maximus Whitedragon Yoda_623 Tyrion (has Xtra experience, he said;)) Agen_Terminator (i won't forget you!) ZBomber AB_Legion
Dath Maximus Posted September 22, 2002 Posted September 22, 2002 there is one thing i want to know, is there a time period that you can keep a padawan when hes gone before you get a new one? My padawan had been gone for about a month or 2
whitedragon Posted September 22, 2002 Posted September 22, 2002 im a teacher and my padawans seem to have run away before reciveing the fist of fury. heres how the move goes you take a long rubber glove and...oh you probley know this move
Kyth'emos Posted September 22, 2002 Posted September 22, 2002 This has to be the longest lived fad ever n the history of LF. 85
Kstar__2 Posted September 22, 2002 Author Posted September 22, 2002 once your padawan isn't here NEmore, i suppose you can get another padawan
C'jais Posted September 22, 2002 Posted September 22, 2002 Just a question regarding this whole LFJA thingie: How much is there to learn about posting in a forum? I mean, besides not flaming and spamming (which people still do, regardless) - most people are mature enough to know this already. And also, I've seen the teachers themselves spam and flame on occassions, but that is not for me to judge.... Bottom line: I'd just like to know exactly what you teach your padawans.

Darth Groovy Posted September 22, 2002 Posted September 22, 2002 Originally posted by Dath Maximus there is one thing i want to know, is there a time period that you can keep a padawan when hes gone before you get a new one? My padawan had been gone for about a month or 2 This is getting to be a problem sort of. We should vote on this and come up with a standard length of time before they are considered UA (Unauthorized Absence) and drop them from the program. This has to be the longest lived fad ever n the history of LF This is not a fad, we really do this. Sad that you think that way. How much is there to learn about posting in a forum? Alot more than we could ever teach. We want them to be intelligent posters as opposed to the sig dominent infesting apam bots that overpopulate the swamp. We try, we really do.
Kstar__2 Posted September 22, 2002 Author Posted September 22, 2002 thank you for pointing that out groovy

obi Posted September 22, 2002 Posted September 22, 2002 Cjais, you asked why we do this. Well, it's all about fun&community. We like having less enemies and more friends, and we are just trying to keep it that way. Kyth'emos, I will be damned if I am going to let someone call something that I devote most of my time to, and work very hard on, a fad. It's all about fun, and as long as I am a member of the LucasForums Community, the Academy shall continue.
JEDI OUTCAST Posted September 22, 2002 Posted September 22, 2002 i dont think he wants a master. i think he is saying that he is a master.
