Boba Rhett
The amount of pressure and heat needed to detonate a nuclear device would not be reached even if they were hit with a bomb. Could they still go off? Sure as hell, yeah. But would they most likely go off? No. The odds are very small that the requirements needed for a nuclear reaction would be reached. Heck, even when we design these bombs to go off it's almost a shot in the dark.

spitfire3228
i think we should just try to make everything cool between the countries b-cuz obviously saddam has nuclear weapons and hes not afraid to use them .. we on the other hand wont b-cuz we dont want to kill so many ppl its like ww2 all over again just mass murder .. but if the things keep escaleting i have no doubt in mind that he'll send a nuke here to one of our bigger cities either washingtong D.C. , new york , miami or who knows b-cuz he knows in each of those cities theres at least 1 million ppl some have over 2 million cuz there so big ... and one nuke takes out 250 miles and then another 50 - 100 or so of radiation which kills ppl later so there would be unbelievable numbers of dead .. which i think would suck pretty bad....... well thats my POV

Pad
na, thats what i think. hes been causing more trouble then a hooligan. he is just like his father, the more war the better. if he is goin to do things like hes doing now, there will be another WTC, believe me. its time for the us to stop thinking they invulnerable and can do anything they want. and if they would go to war with irak, that will be a great mistake. irak has ****, nothin, zadda, zipp. say they still had biological weapons from the 90s, they cant do anything with it, cause after 5 years the ingredients r like crap. u cant use em anymore. and if u talk about nuclear weapons, thats just not possible. in time irak had NO nuclear facilitys. and for making nuclear stuff u need expensive machines and a good facility. and for having those u need to have money. say they did have money and bought such things espionage would know that. so if u want to talk about a nuclear thread, maybe start talkin on pakistan and india cause i believe they r more dangerous then irak. Guest Jed
Ur probably right Padanime...Bush is a little war happy. And would Saddam be pissed at us right now if this was handled by ne1 else? Maybe yes, maybe no. But takin out Saddam would mean sum1 else takes the position...sumone who might be a little more frightened by the US. And Tyrion would rip Saddam a new one
Taos
Originally posted by Jedi220 The whole situation is a mess. Snipe Saddam, whole thing is ended. That's my opinion. Well, that might be tough.......I heard recently that it was either the German or British gov't had reported that Saddam has people that are dressed as him. Apparently there are about two or three of these imposter Saddam's runnin' around. Same mustache, walk, and everything.... They found this out by lookin' at various pictures of the man and comparing them........they found that there were some differences in height and a few other things.............I don't know what led them in the first place to start doing this but.......... I think I saw this on Fox News and Tom Brokaw......
